They did a great job! I spent a lot of time researching different companies and coating technologies. After contacting 9 companies in the Twin Cities (all the big ones and some smaller ones), I ultimately found Northland Coatings to be the most straightforward, best technology, and a good value. I was confused by all the options from all the various companies: epoxy, polyurea, polyaspartic, polyhybrid etc. Here is what I found out to save others the time/confusion. They use an epoxy base with a polyaspartic top coat, which I think is best based on the research I did. The epoxy cures more slowly, but that gives it time to set in and bind to the concrete. Other companies do the quick polyurea/polyaspartic approach and it means they can do it in 1-2 days, but it dries so quickly it is hard to imagine it has good binding. It is important that they use high solids and thick applications, avoiding dilutions with solvents. Northland is very open about what they use.Overall, Justin gave a quick bid and the team came out and completed the job over 5 days, always coming on time. I couldnt have asked for more. You can see from the pictures the final product is fantastic looking and is holding up well. Jake and the install team had an amazing attention to detail and even sealed a door threshold with some silicone caulk and painted our rusting drains. Awesome work! 5/5

We hired Nortland Coating to coat our new garage floor. They came out and gave us a great quote, nice selection of colors, good advice on choosing a color and provided clear expectations of the process and timing. The process required several days to make each step was completed correctly and product had time to set up. I am very happy with the finished project. I was out of town for most of the process so I was dying to see the completed floor. It is the envy of the neighborhood.

Purchased my new home in Stillwater and our first step was getting an epoxy coating on the garage floor. Justin and crew came recommended from my grandpa and my father in law. He did a phenomenal job on both of their garage floors, and did a phenomenal job on mine. Justin was very easy to work with, the crew was very polite and professional. They explained the entire process and also provided some cleaning/care tips going forward. I would highly recommend Northland to anyone considering re-doing their garage floor!

Justin and the entire crew are the best. We did our 4000 sq ft shop floor in 2 stages and it came out awesome. They worked around our schedule as a retail service business to minimize our downtime Our floors were old and mismatched with some old and some new concrete but looks new now! Thanks again. Justin showed up to perform an estimate on the exact day and time he promised. The quote for our three stall garage was more than fair from other quotes we had received. The folks that performed the work were very efficient and did an excellent job to say the least. We are more than satisfied with the end result and would recommend this company to anyone that may be interested in having their garage floor redone.

We had a garage floor put in in 2014 in Eagan. A couple of years later we had some cracks and they came back and made sure that they fixed the garage floor back to new again. We are pleased with their customer service and their commitment to a job done to our complete satisfaction . We highly recommend Joe Miller and his company. Here we are in 2018 and we still love our garage floor.

Joe and Justin were great to work with (even when I switched the color I wanted)! I was going to attempt doing my garage floor myself and I am so glad I didnt. The job they did turned out better than expected! Do yourself a favor and call them.Edit: After a the 1st year started having issues with the floor bubbling in a few spots. Called a few times to have someone out to look at it and calls were never returned.

Northland came out and coated our 30 year old garage floor. It was badly pocked and corroded from years of salt wear and tear. The finished product is fantastic!! Well worth the money.

Have seen their work at many locations. Several friends and associates have purchased their products and services and virtually none have regretted it. When I put up my next commercial building they will be my first and only call.
