I just have to say that touring this place was one of my greatest experience of touring any place. I had the Pleasure of working with Austin who was just so full of good energy and welcoming attitude, I had already felt like I was already living there. During my tour he had noted that he will usually follow up the day after my tour in which he did. I just happened to be at work and couldnt get to the phone. I will admit, I did forget to call him back and 2 days later he reached out via email! Talk about great communication! I am looking for more towards next year for moving being as I am selling my home. But I will definetely looking at the springs, I also want to state that I toured 5 other places on top of the springs and I have not heard one phone call or email from all of those place.
We are moving to the springs in Florida. We had some troubles understanding the move in process, so we stopped at the springs at Egan drive to where we first met Jennifer who helped us upload some documents. We then got confused on some other things and we needed more help so we stopped in again where we met austin and let me tell you what, I am just amazed on how helpful he was and Im being honest on this, but my husband and I could not sleep the night prior! Thank you so much austin an Jennifer for being just so helpful and nice!!! We would have been so lost!
Living at the Springs has been incredible. The office staff is friendly and always loves saying hi when my little pup and I swing by. The layout and entry of my apartment actually make it seem like a home, nor just an apartment. Love it, will definitely be renewing my lease.
I’m new here and I’ve had a couple of minor issues that required a maintenance service request. Rob and Greg have both been amazing in making sure everything is taken care of in a timely manner. Jennifer and Austin in the office have also been great. Everyone has such an upbeat, warm, and welcoming attitude and it really makes a difference!
Lived at Springs for a few years. Its peaceful, all good neighbors, good community. Austin and the crew at the office are very nice and when your patient and polite they will go the extra mile for you. Rob and Greg on the maintenance team are two genuine and professional guys. They are on top of every request Ive had. I really like it here.
Entire staff goes above and beyond to help with any thing needed. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Adam responded to our service request quickly and we appreciated his offer to help out with anything else we may need.
For an apartment living space this is the only place I’d go. The fact that you have a door that leads straight outside is so nice. The special events they do for residents is also very cute.
First off, I have to shout out Austin for his amazing customer service and personal approach. Such an amazing asset to this community! I will be sure to tell my friends looking for a place to live also, to stop in and take a tour with Austin. Awesome amenities at this community! 5 stars ⭐️
Absolutely loving my time here at Springs at Egan Drive! Nothing but compliments about this place. Put in a work order and within an hour Greg was here to help! He is such a personable and amazing guy! Helps with every and any issue you could have! Also Austin in the office is absolutely amazing and will always take the time to stop and say hi when walking by!
The staff here is great! Austin in the front office is nice and helpful with questions. Ive also had a few maintenence requests and Adam has taken care if the issues quickly and professionally. Great place to live.
My husband and I have had a wonderful experience at the Springs! The office team is friendly and responsive, and the one time we had a maintenance issue, it was cleared up in a timely manner. The complex itself is lovely, and we enjoyed strolling the grounds. The dog park was so handy for our pup, we loved having that convenience! We had to move to Texas for a work opportunity, and we looked at a Springs location here because we had such a great experience. Thank you to the team at Springs at Egan Drive!
Adam was amazing! Very punctual, pleasant and so helpful!!!Austin is so fantastic and knowledgeable! Always so incredibly helpful and even set up my phone for me!!Love these guys 🧡
Adam was a great help tonight in fixing a water issue due to a broken valve in our bathroom. He was quick to respond and fixed the issue timely. Were so thankful for the 24/7 maintenance team!
A huge thank you to Adam and the Springs at Egan Drive Maintenance team! Every time I put in a service request the team has always been able to resolve the issue quickly. We continue to thoroughly enjoy our time here at Springs at Egan Drive due to the friendly and welcoming staff and their ability to accommodate to our needs!
Austin is so fun to work with and so helpful! He answered all my questions and he has such an upbeat attitude and so Honest! Love working with him!
My husband and I have lived at the springs for a few months now and we love it! The office staff is so kind, welcoming and quick to reply when needed. The complex is well-maintained and the fellow residents have been wonderful! People really seem to care here. It’s definitely a place we enjoy living at!
The maintenance men are amazing! Always friendly and very helpful! So far the living experience here has been great.
Technician repaired dripping faucet . Adam did a great job, was efficient and friendly. Sent in repair request and it was repaired the next day. Very satisfied .
Love living here. Maintenance is extremely fast, friendly, and good at what they do - Adam really knows what he is doing.
What great service today from Adam and Greg! It was nice to meet Greg. Our front door lock broke and he explained all what happenned! Such a professional and caring team!
Been living here since April. No issues. Been super nice. No complaints, except back gate sometimes breaks but they get on top of it to get it fixed usually fixed within day.Respectful community.
Rob came for plumbing issue yesterday. He is super kind and handyman. All the problems has been fixed.
I’ve been living here since building 4 was being built. I love the open concept space, my patio, my unit and my neighbors. They are dog friendly (I don’t have a fur baby) but it’s nice to see them leashed. The management has changed since we moved in a few years ago. My family has never had an issue with them and I appreciate that they can receive your packages on your behalf. The new management team is very nice and helpful. The Maintenance team is nice and helpful also.
THANK YOU to Adam on the Springs at Egan Drive team for offering a fast response to maintenance requests! I submitted a service request mid morning, and within a short time, everything was completed. Not to mention, he was friendly and helpful. I so appreciate the convenience of living here, and the great customer service offered. THANK YOU!
Me and two other friends of mine just recently moved in here about a month ago and it’s safe to say we fell in LOVE!! The management are the most kind and caring people and they make sure to treat you as a priority and help you through any questions you might have. It’s a wonderful place for a family or friends to get a great new home. Everybody is a community here and are kind to everyone. Very highly recommend.
Adam provided exceptional service on our maintenance issue! Thank you!
Adam from maintenance did a great job with unplugging the sinks and tub. I also want to mention how great maintenance did back in March. They kept working on the furnace until it was fixed.
This is my second time living at The Springs; we moved back after relocating out of state for work and back again. We loved living here the first time but this time our experience has been even better. Any minor issues we experienced the first time around have been addressed and corrected; this community is clean, well managed, well maintained and super friendly! The maintenance team and other staff is awesome. It is super dog friendly and our neighbors are respectful. Im grateful to live at The Springs; weve had very bad rental experiences in the past.
Thanks for the fast service! Adam and Greg were great!
No apartment/townhome community is perfect, but I think the Springs is a more than fine place to call home. Management and maintenance teams are super friendly and responsive to any issues that arise. Grounds are well taken care of, homes have great natural light and several different layouts to choose from, with nice finishing touches. Pool area is well taken care of and water is ALWAYS clean! Nice clubhouse with exercise equipment. Valet trash/recycling is picked up at your home several days a week, so no hauling it out to a dumpster in the middle of winter. 😊 The surrounding neighborhood is great to take a walk or ride bike. Community itself is very well lit and I’ve always felt safe here. Convenient location for shopping and restaurants too. No problem recommending Springs as a great place to live.
Love this place! Couldn’t of asked for a better apartment building. Great pricing, amenities, and the staff is just wonderful.
Adam fixed our shower faucet so quick! He also made sure he fixed the right issue.
I have loved living here, it is a great area to live and the staff are just super friendly I would recommend this place to anyone!
Me and my daughters experience here has been very good. One thing I do really like, is that if there is something that is broken their maintenance team is very prompt about coming and fixing it. I also really like the feel of the community and the surrounding areas.
Great location to live at! I have lived here for 2 leases and it feels like home! The front office makes you feel apart of the family!!!
I would like to start by saying Springs at Egan Drive was a phenomenal community to be a part of for 4 years! A big shout out to the front office, most specifically the most kind Leasing Agent Betsy and the always hard-working and courteous Maintenance Technician Matt, they were both instrumental in the duration of my stay. In addition, the grounds were always kept clean and well groomed lawns during the summer and shoveled clean during the winter. I would highly recommend this community to families looking for a pet-friendly environment with alot of amenities such as a spacious gym and huge heated pool. Be sure to ask for Betsy if you would like a tour of this beautiful property!
Not move here please. I have leaved here for over 4 yrs but was disappointed at how I was treated! I transferred within the apartment complex because I enjoyed staying . Jenna (manager) had showed us a unit that was vacant but assured my husband & I that it was not the unit we were supposed to move in. she had promised us a fully renovated unit at time of move in but that it was currently occupied & would be available around May before the end of our old lease. Around April, I started calling to inquire about our new unit, left several voice messages regarding the status of the move, but no one was kind enough to even return my call, went in person but was told its not ready, asked what unit it will be but no answer! Finally came may then they sent me e document to sign my lease, the unit I was supposed to move in was still a big mystery! The new lease document I was supposed to sign had my old unit listed! Left them a voice message but rude people didnt even have the courtesy to own up their mistake! Long story short before my lease had even expired they (Jenna & Jeniffer) started sending me emails to pack up & move already! Some even had ultimatums ......by noon today painters will be coming to your unit to get it ready for the new owners! Of note they had just given me the key to this mystery unit the day before but I was somehow supposed to carry my belongings on my shoulders & disappear! This new owners were somehow VIP! The new unit I was supposed to move in to was filthy, dirty, disgusting. I have a type 1 diabetic child & told them the unit was not clean enough!
The office staff knows us by name, and we never worry about maintenance issues, Adam fixed our fridge right away! More like a true home than your typical apartment complex!
Landscaping where we live Building 15, area of 15106 most of the grass has large dead spots. Area of small trees has no mulch around them, you can see the bare grey plastic in some areas. Weeds growing everywhere, I pull them up myself. Looks terrible.Otherwise everything is fine.
I just want to say how friendly the people are here The office staff were great to work with, even though I didn’t lease from here I would highly recommend them!!!!
The best apartment complex I have lived at doesn’t necessarily feel like a apartment feels like a home, the management before wasn’t perfect at first but in the last 8 months it has been awesome I have personally worked with Jennifer who has always made time to help me and she’s always has a smile on her face and she is just great I feel like working with her just makes me feel like I have someone who cares! Haven’t met the rest of the team but today I met Jeana the manager who I feel is gonna help Jennifer turn this ship around!!!!! These two girls are gonna rock it!!!!!
Had a plumbing problem. Robb was here quickly. Problem solved!
Great location and beautiful units!!! Jeana was great to work with and tour with and Jennifer in the office such a blast
I have had such a great experience in this community thus far. I have had many request/changes and the staff has been efficient and timely. I love my place and all the amenities, safety, and location. It truly has been a breath of fresh air as I moved in a very difficult time, personally!
Terrible management!! Please do not rent from this place! They do not care about their residents and are just money hungry.
I have had great experience here. The people who work here are very friendly and all know my name. I also know all of them and say hi and stop and chat.
Very difficult to get follow up from the office if you ever have an issue, I have had 2 issues in 4 years and both have been a disaster to get help with. Constant turnover of people in charge. Screaming kids on scooters running into people and cars 9 months of the year and your mail will always be lost, the same problems don’t get corrected and people continue to complain. It is a good spot for your pet and I do feel safe here but it’s been headed downhill for some time now and the prices are high.
Excellent apartment community. Upscale homes and very convenient location. Facility employees are very helpful and quick to respond to requests.
My good friend rented from this place. She had nothing but headache after headache with management. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
We were in a bind because we were moving from out of state, and this was the only place that would allow us to have a dog of ours size. There were supposed to be regulations on what breed of dogs were allowed, but that basically went right out the window as long as you said it was a service animal. Had plenty of people who never picked up after their dogs and nobody cared about quiet hours. Our neighbor was lighting off fireworks in the complex one night and nothing was done. We moved in under the impression that they were nice well kept, high end apartments that would be safe, but would often come back to the gates both front or back being wide open for anyone to drive through. We went to them multiple times about issues with neighbors, dogs, the dog park, noise and the garbage that continued to overflow. Nothing was done to resolve those issues either. The construction was probably the worst i have ever seen, the AC was loud as can be, the appliances were junk and the craftsmanship was something to be embarrassed by. I have seen better houses put together with LEGOs. The parking is terrible and in the winter they just shove the snow in the parking lot and take up half the spaces, dont even bother trying to get your vehicle in the garage unless you have a tiny car. I am very disappointed that we paid what we did and lived there as long as we did. We could have found a much cheaper option than the springs. Bottom line, I would never recommend anyone to live here, there are so many other options out there that will give you better quality for much less.
Fixed heat problem within an hour of submitting a work order.
Apartment is nice, clean and spacious, but well overpriced. The gates for cars often break, let multiple cars in, or go very slow, this does not seem worth the gated community nature of the place. Also, all of the walk in gates are also broken or often broken. This cant really be listed as a gated community if these essential aspects are not functioning as intended.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! If I could give them negative stars I would. I am a 30-year old Widow. I lost my husband On March 30th 2020. We moved out on March 15th 2020 while he was fighting for his life in the ICU. The office was well aware of this and was well aware of the global pandemic that is happening in the world. They have ZERO empathy for ANYTHING! They also charged me for things that I told them were broken. A couple of things on that list was the fridge that broke and all of our food spoiled because I spent so much time at the hospital with my dying husband. They also charged me for a broken toilet that I told them about. This place is truly TERRIBLE!!
There are a lot of bad reviews and I’m not really sure why. I’ve lived here since June and I haven’t had any issues that weren’t resolved immediately. Yes, the air conditioning/heat is loud and that is a downfall. However, my apartment is nice, clean, safe, and quiet. I think the apartments are cozy, other tenants are friendly, the staff is friendly, and the management are actively trying to make improvements. All in all, I would recommend these apartments.
We love our home here in the springs! Everyone in the community and on staff is so friendly
Apartments are nice and modern. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. Valet trash is a huge plus. Be careful when getting a downstairs unit, you can hear every step from upstairs neighbors. Overall, a good place to live.
Ive lived here for right at a year - I couldnt be happier with the staff & management here at The Springs. They recently installed water softeners in all buildings and it is some of the best quality of water I have experienced, from my skin/hair, laundry, dishes to drinking water, it is amazing. I would recommend The Springs to anyone!!!
Cars briken into. Security gate never works. Management is horrible (jenna) never gets back to you. Very unprofessional. Made up charges when you leave. Go right into collections without thrm talking to you or notifying you. Bad practices. Dont fall for it.
The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldnt give it 0 star. We lived here from October 2015-November 2016 and this was the worst place we have ever lived. Walls were so thin we could hear our upstairs neighbors fighting daily and you could hear every step them and their dog would make. This is the littlest of our issues with The Springs. They were slow with getting anything done and fixed around the whole complex and when they would leave a note in your door saying something would be done on a certain date - it would even actually be started for a week or more after the date they had left us with. The staff would take weeks answering an emails from you which is UNACCEPTABLE, especially when I would walk in the building and they would all be sitting together hanging out and eating. One man in particular whose name I wont mention. Unprofessional, rude and a struggle to deal with. The pool is nice - but even when you get there early and find someone had already came earlier and put towels on each chair holding a spot when nobody was in there and a big group of people, most of which didnt even live in The Springs would come in a have a party. It might look nice on the outside but this place was very cheaply made and I HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere. Savage is a great area but I am telling you now The Springs is a huge headache. There are so many better options with landlords who actually value their renters. Stay away!
RENTERS BEWARE. I have never experienced such poor management, due to clerical errors on their behalf we were charged upon move out for damage that we reported at move in. Management was extremely rude. Cheaply made apartment. The only positive is the new maintenance staff. Don’t waste your money.
Matt is a professsional maitenance repair man and such a courteous fellow, making quick work of any repair I need. Ive lived here four years and am completely happy with my home.
Unlike other apartments, my worst experience is at the Springs where they get your vehicle towed yet they have the registration. I hayed this place when my vehicle was towed yet no one cared to understand my pain. I did not have money to pay the tower and I had to borrow money yet I pay rent. I think the Springs have poor policies that assists the residentss welfare. I thought parking permits are for the visitors as long as yoir vehicle is registered with the Springs, no need to tow your customerrs vehicles😡
BUYER BEWARE. Counting down the days until our lease is up. Our experience has been nothing but poor.Construction hasnt stopped since we moved in several months ago. Its always something different. Sometimes they tell you, sometimes they dont. This morning we woke up to a cement truck outside the window. Yesterday it was a bobcat hauling chunks of the sidewalk.Super disappointed to be paying full price rent for a complex that is half done.It seems the construction will never end- and seems to start earlier and earlier every week. With the money youll pay here- youre better off in an actual town home.Cheapy materials in apartment as well as appliances. On top of being able to hear your neighbors every word and TV.Spare yourself the headache.
The only way I can describe this place is noisy. You hear everything from everyone around you. There is no sense of privacy as you can hear the conversation from the unit above you or beside you. Sound insulation? It is non existent. Right now I currently hear a toddler running non stop in the unit above us. This will go on for hours and well past quiet time. Want to get to bed early? Good luck! Want to sleep through the night? Nope, not happening when the neighbors dog starts barking between 2 and 2:15am. This also causes the other neighbors baby to start crying...Wireless headphones are the only way to escape the noise while you are in your home!!!There is nothing better than getting woke up at 3:30am because someone is pounding on your neighbors door. Who knows what they are doing that time of night, but they made it your business by waking you up. Probably wouldnt be a problem if they had a working security gate. Talking with other neighbors in the building I am in (building 15), they all have the same complaints. For new construction (built 2015), they managed to screw it up by cutting corners and cutting cost. And in turn they charge a premium to live here.Advertised as luxury? Not a chance. Cheap appliances, cheap cupboards, sloppy paint jobs, sloppy finishes... Soft water? No, its hard a rock. You will never see a clear piece of glass again after doing your dishes here. The trash dumpster doesnt even get emptied fast enough, trash is spilling out into the lot.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Youve been informed.
My move to SPRINGS AT EGAN DRIVE was a positive experience, and continues to be so. As a tenant, I am impressed with the:---Lovely floor plans - mine is a smartly designed studio apartment - with gorgeous appliances, cabinetry and flooring.---Wide and deep soaking tub and shower.---Full-size front loading washer-dryer inside my apartment.---Huge walk-in closet.---Swimming pool AND full size gym with amenities.---Valet garbage collection.---Location within 2 miles of four grocery stores, Walgreens, Target and Lifetime Fitness.---Proximity to Burnsville (5 minutes) and Bloomington (10 minutes).---Highly professional, friendly and proactive property management and maintenance teams.Rent from SPRINGS AT EGAN DRIVE and you will not be disappointed!
Loved my home here. The management made move in simple. Great place clean and quiet.
Worst apartment every the office staff never answers never gets back to you and if you do talk to them the next time you do they will tell you you never said that and call you a liar. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone!!! Mary the manger is the biggest liar in the office so watch out when you talk to her.
Do NOT live here. The walls are paper thin. You can hear every conversation from the neighbors next to you. Dogs are barking NONSTOP here. It is the worst place Ive ever lived! And, rent is expensive for the cheap quality of the apartment. You dont get any amenities except a swimming pool which is only opened for 2 months since this is MN. Go down the street and youll find cheaper and better townhomes. The people who work here are not the nicest either.
Looks like a nice place but do not let that fool you. They do not care about keeping current residents. The office is very rude. Rent goes up over $100 each year. The onsite maintenance team seems to have very little knowledge on how to fix anything. Everything was done and bought as cheap as possible. Do not waste your time and money at these apartments!
The employees have always been very helpful.its been a great place to live.
Very unethical management style. If you move in, watch out. Your car will be towed on a regular basis. Also, there are drug dealers and many late night parties. Don’t plan on sleeping peacefully. The best advice I can give is find somewhere else to live.
It is not luxury by any means. The gate allows people to come in behind someone entering. The units are cheaply made but the pool is nice if its not full. And yes there are plenty of like or better options in the cities.
If I could give this place 0, I would. I can hear my neighbors microwave beeping through the walls, I can hear their dog barking and doors shutting. Not only that, but Richard Montgomery is terrible at getting back to you and does not abide by his own timelines where he says hell get back to you, if you have any sort of question/comment/concern. Im still waiting for a response I was suppose to receive from him a few days ago. Awful customer service. PLUS... You can get a house cheaper than this place. RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. The garages are also in strange locations compared to where you live - not real convenient. I signed 13-months and am out in June - and cant wait to leave. If you want to be ripped-off, move here.
BEWARE!!! I would not advise renting from this property...for these reasons: I promise its worth the read if you are considering moving there or at the very least, read number 7. I am seriously not one to complain, but created this account because I want to help people avoid a terrible experience!1. They delayed my move in date due to construction by over a month and a half. They would promise a date and then delay it, set a new date and delay it until it was finally ready.2. Construction workers double parked behind my garage 4 times and made me late to work every time. The office obviously did nothing to help this since it happened more than once.3. They advertised amenities, such as, a dog park, car wash station, and gated community. The dog park became available about 9 months into my lease. The car and dog wash, 12 months into my lease and the gated community was still in the works when my lease expired (at 13 months).4. The walls and floors are paper-thin. I could hear my upstairs neighbor walking across her apartment step by step. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Not to mention the barking dog next door. He would bark for periods of a half hour or more unstopped. When I contacted the manager, they advised that I spend $50 on some Sonic Egg to have in my apartment in hopes that it would help. I called probably 5 times about this and they did nothing to help. It continued, and rather than getting even more upset with the fact that the office would do nothing to help me, I had no choice but to grin and bear it.5. My air conditioning went out three times in the 13 months I lived there. Keep in mind I live in Minnesota. So this was all in one summer. I didnt want to keep it on while I went out of town for 12 days. They told me I needed to or it may continue to go out. Is that legit?6. They put a zip tie on the emergency exit to the pool to restrict people from using it. They require you to go through the bathroom to get in and out of the pool area (yes, bringing coolers, food, etc. through....gross!), they didnt want people using the emergency exit and everyone did so they illegally zip tied it shut.. The reality is that they cant zip tie it shut since they messed up the design of the pool area! An emergency exit is required to be operable by state law.7. If those reasons arent enough, make sure to READ THE REST. Upon my lease expiring, the following things happened:a. They sent me a bill (which was incorrect) 21 days after I moved so I called them to ask some questions. It took them 13 days to get back to me. They didnt see my message, or email, or second email, or second voicemail, I guess.b. I got called from a bill collector 30 days after moving out for a balance I owed. The apartment manager told me they have 21 days to send a bill or return a deposit. So if I understand this right,....if you get billed, that leaves a person with 9 days to resolve a balance before going to debt collection on a bill they didnt know existed until 21 days after they moved. Got it. Because that makes sense.c. I got this resolved and sent them the corrected amount of money. The manager called me personally to tell me after all my frustrations. He also sent me a picture of my ledger card showing I owe nothing. He told me he would personally contact the bill collector and have them reverse it so I owed the money to the Springs not to the collecting agency.d. BUT...TODAY I GOT CALLED BY THE SAME BILL COLLECTOR.8. The corporate office doesnt have any better communication or service. They did absolutely nothing to help me when I contacted them.
Lived here for two years. The problems started from the beginning. We were lied to at the time of move in about our units readiness. After we were told we would be able to move-in, we were called the morning of the move-in and they stated there was an issue with the water heater and that we were not allowed to move-in yet. Well, after several days, I got fed up and called the city of Savage. They indicated that this was a complete lie and that the unit had failed city inspection due to an issue with the balcony railings. The balcony had hollow pillars as well, creating a safety hazard which was remedied about 9 months after we moved in.Throughout my time living there we ran into numerous issues - at one point they were charging everyone in the complex an absurd amount for water, which was bizarre. This ceased after several neighbors contacted the city. The units are cheap, the build quality is poor and when we moved in there numerous issues from tack strip poking through the carpet and not even being adhered to the stairs, to the front door and utility door already being damage. They repaired these with drywall repair kits and left them this way. This was indicated on our move-in checklist, yet we were charged for it in our move-out invoice along with several other items. Drawers, hinges and counters are assembled with cheap materials and particle board which consistently need to be replaced or fixed. There is no water softener so hard water will consume every glass and dish you own. This place has also bribed people to take down bad reviews with Amazon gift cards, which they did to us and our neighbors.I wanted to like this place, I like the location, some of the neighbors, but the leasing company, management and my experience with some of their business practices coupled with poor construction make me extremely reluctant to post a positive review. I would advise no one to live here. I have been working with management to sort out the differences on our move-out charges; they are unwilling to remove the things that are indicated on our move-in list.Update: Nothing has been rectified. They lied to another apartment about our rental history in retaliation over our poor review. They tow cars that have visible permits in their windows, charge absurd move-out fees and provided a final account statement that had inadequate information about the due date. Avoid this place at all costs. They charged my elderly neighbor absurd move-out fees as well. Claiming their prorated carpet replacement for their bottom of the barrel, poorly installed carpet was 442 dollars after they had lived there for 3 years (for less than 200 sq. ft of carpeting). This place is a joke, avoid it all costs and avoid the headache that comes with living here. Its absolutely pathetic and they treat their residents heinously. Its a sham.
Place is way over priced. Very very cheap materials and craftsmanship. All the windows leaked air and didnt shut proper, along with the front door. Place was super dirty when we moved it. And they charged us for unnecessary cleaning fees when we moved out. And when we asked what they cleaned and for a list they wouldnt provide one. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Although I did not end up leasing from this location I did in fact enjoy how I was treated during my inquiries, will be referring my friends to this property
Today the police showed up to arrest a guy wearing a diaper on his head... turns out he was high on narcotics. What a classy place
I’m glad I read the reviews before renting this place. Tenants are disappointed with the same issues what a wast of a place!!!!
I have been here since March 2016 and I can not wait to vacate in March...this has gone from bad to worse and Im at the point now I dont think anyone in the office even cares. Ive even reached out to Marcie the District Manager and she couldnt care less...its too bad because I wanted to call this home for a few years. They double booked the party room for my daughters senior graduation party and I found out 3hours before 190 people were suppose to show up! It was the hottest day of the summer and we were put outside for our party. I reserved the room in October of 2015 for June of 2016! Disaster...I have more cupboard doors on the floor then hanging on the cupboards and I dont even bother to call anymore...the heating/cooling system sounds like a plane is taking off. I have to turn it off to watch a movie or have a conversation and the walls are paper thin....I could go on and on but my biggest issue has been my water bill. It went from $35 a month to $265 in June to $150 in July and August and aside from one credit it still isnt fixed. My bill this month is $84!!! Im one person...my 4000 square foot home ran $120/$130 a quarter. When I called the city they said they couldnt help meCuz its a Springs issue but in order to accrue a $150 bill I would have to have used 40,000 gallons of water.I emailed the new property manager today to see what I should actually b paying and she said pay what I was billed and she will look into it...I will be gone in 6 weeks. Its robbery....absolute robbery and Ive been fighting this battle along with other tenants since June. Please beware....this place is a joke!
Ive lived here for 2 years now and have been pleased with the recent management and changes that have been implemented (valet trash pick up, gueat parking policy, speed bumps in summer, new resident portal that facilitates community engagements, flowers at the clubhouse in the sjmmer, water softeners). These changes have been very well received and much appreciated. Youve done a great job communicating updates to us in a timely and clear manner and you continue to make our community a wonderful place to live. The location is great, amenities are clean and new, pets are welcome, and the community is diverse, respectful, and quiet. Thank you!
Don’t mind the property. The intake fan/furnace is pretty loud. Clean apartments. It can get sort of cold in the winter due to the private entrances. Some sketchy people live here, but that happens everywhere. Dogs barking will be something you’ll have to get used to. The cable/internet situation stinks because only Mediacom services these addresses. Walls are thin so it’s sort of a luck-of-the-draw situation with your neighbors. Studio layout is awesome!
This place is horrible!! Absolutely nothing here is luxury. Hastily slapped together apartments, with extremely poor craftsmanship. Cars speeding in and out of the complex at all hours of the night. A gym that is always busy. The pool is nice if youre lucky enough to get a spot to sit. Tenants like to wake up early and spot save multiple chairs for when theyre ready to use the pool. Parking is horrible. Expect a garage that is nowhere near your apartment. Construction on new buildings will never be completed, nor will they ever close the gates. There is zero insulation in these apartments. Expect to hear everyones doors slamming and all their conversations. Living next to an airport would be quieter then listening to the furnace run. Which it runs nonstop! Do your self a favor and look else where. This place is a total loser in my opinion. Counting down the days till our lease is up.
Negatives: invasion of privacy, got a call that our fire alarm was going off, wife left work to check (mins 10 away) yeah no alarm going off. They allow anyone to throw garbage away, including large furniture, and then they let the furniture sit for a long time. Very unattractive we look like we live in a land fill.Allow anyone in the pool area, pool is so packed with people who dont live there that the ones paying for it have a hard time using it.Poor building quality including the luxury apartments, if you live here be prepared to have surround sound cranked just to hear the tv, due to the AC units being extremely loud.Positives: you feel safe
I dont know how are the living conditions are in this place but I wouldnt recommend anyone to apply for an apartment with this company. They required $209 ($160 refundable of application denied) payment per adult to apply. I paid for two adults. They denied based on a foreclosure in the past. Now they say that it will take about three weeks to get my money back.
Terrible place. If you planning to move here, PLEASE DONT! very cheap apartments with cheap amenities. Horrible customer service. I can refer you to the already commented negative reviews cause its exactly what springs is. PLEASE READ THEM!. I have been here for only 3 months yet cant wait for my lease to end. I could give them a -5 review if there was one.
So, Ive lived here for about a year and a few months. Genuinely cannot wait for this lease to be up.First and foremost, the gates are at best inconvenient. A lot of people want a private entry home so they can get their packages at their front door. Unfortunately, thanks to the gate, only about 10% of packages make it there, the rest either arent delivered, held at the post office, or delivered to the front office. This community is in Savage, MN, where nothing ever happens and people keep their doors unlocked so the gates gotta go.Once you get inside the apartments youll know, especially in the winter, because youll think you just entered an airport with how loud the furnace is. When I say its loud I dont mean a little extra noise, I mean we need our TV and Surround Sound almost maxed to make out words. The real work of art is the interior though. Not only did someone manage to find a Brand-X for Ikea, but they also used the cheapest hinges that could exist. Ive had to screw in every screw in every hinge, handle, and doorknob multiple times to keep them from falling off. I dont think the builders knew what a 90-degree angle is either as the walls and doors are definitely not square. The wood laminate flooring is incredibly soft and regular shoes will damage it. The flooring itself along the walls is pulling up and the front door and windows let in so much cold air we spend around $150-$300/month in heating during the winter, the door itself will let in water if it is rainy or snowy. At this point, we are paying around $1450/month for a tiny 1br apartment that the only quality item is the attached garage which has a heater (also mandatory to keep on in the winter to prevent freezing pipes). I dont regret much but signing another 12-month lease (which is ungodly to get out of) is at the top of my list. Its luxury in the pictures and price, section 8 in the quality.
The Good:-It is new, so no dealing with previous renters mess.-Private entry-Staff seem nice-appliances may not be the highest-end model but they function as expectedThe Bad:-Cheap paint job. Paint ended up on everything, the floors, cabinets, trim, windows, doors, etc.-The cabinets (kitchen/bathroom) are cheap, nicked, scratched, mis-aligned.-Extremely loud AC/Furnace fan. It is right next to living room, so when it is running you will not be watching TV or having any type of conversation.-Very hard water-Difficult to get into detached garage. There is not enough space in front of the garage to be able to get the proper turn radius. The Ugly:-Wall noise reduction is non-existent. My neighbor owns a subwoofer which pounds constantly.-Must use AC at night. People are hanging out outside at night (10pm-4am) making noise which will easily wake you up if windows are open. The idea for these apartments is great. The execution was terrible. Though the staff are patient and willing to listen, they are not going to be able to fix the problems. Fixing the key issues would be basically rebuilding the entire apartment complex.
If youre thinking about moving here...dont. This place has potential but it didnt pan out. Two major problems...one is the cheap construction. Weve lived in numerous other apt buildings...some built in the 60s, some as new as 2008. None of them are as noisy as this place-zero noise reduction measures built. You will hear everything from all your neighbors on all sides of you. We can even hear the beeping of the neighbors microwave when dinner is done...so imagine what else you can hear. Also same as the others have stated-cheap flooring, appliances, doors/windows, everything was done on the cheap...and it shows. The second issue is most of our fellow tenants. We also thought being advertised as luxury might reduce some of the common apt issues....nope....again, worse than any other place weve seen. Blasting radios, people leave garbage outside their units and on decks, they smoke weed in the non smoking building, dogs bark 24-7, they drive thru the lots going 40 mph, saw one couple having relations in the parking lot, people being loud at all hours of the night, and on and on.Whats good? Very little. We like the location, the layout (town home style with separate entrances) is nice, and the staff are ok. But not enough to keep us here or inspire us to recommend this place to anyone else. Look elsewhere.
I would like to start off by saying the apartments themselves arent the worst but clearly they were slapped together very quickly. The tape on the ceiling is separating in multiple rooms plus our front door and the patio door both have a horrible draft that whistle when its windy. Then for the last four months we havent been able to watch TV and make dinner at the same time because the stove would short out the living room breaker. We complained many times and still no change until I connected the manager directly through email. Now after all that got resolved Im being threatened with a $50 fee for not providing new insurance when I sent that in well over a week ago. All this place is worried about is money money money. Only reason we ended up here was our two big dogs and not being able to purchase a house otherwise we never wouldve moved here. My opinion go somewhere else!!
Do you like paying for a gate that isnt closed half the time? Then this place is for you. Do you like cabinets that litterally fall off the hinges within months of being built? Then this place is for you. Do you like taking nice walks on sidewalks that are different elevations so water stays on them even hours after it rained? Then this place is for you. Do you like not being able to park in the parking lot because they keep paying for terrible asphalt that starts caving in to be remade? Then this place is for you. Do you like waiting weeks to get your bathroom drains unclogged every 3 weeks because they arent big enough? Then this place is for you. Do you like power outages? Because this place offers 2-3 at least in the summer. Dont worry, you wont miss a single one. Do you like overpaying for internet because The Springs has a contract with them making it a monopoly in the apartments? Dont worry, youll get the same upload and download speeds your friends are getting, but for double the price! On the upside, the staff is pretty nice, well a few of them. Namely Richard and the 2 maintenance guys. But dont worry, theres many more features I havent talked about. Come and lease your own apartment for the price of a house mortgage now!
I dont understand why everyone is complaining here. We have been here for over a year and decided to re-new. They have upgraded and non-upgraded apartments. I agree they are not perfect however, in my opinion, they are the best deal for an apartment in the Savage/Burnsville/Prior Lake area. Easy to get to major highways, quiet city, four different grocery stores to choose from right around the corner, a new movie theatre right in Shakopee, well-laid out floor plans, exterior dog wash, small dog park in neighborhood, free exterior car wash/vaccum, in-unit washer/dryer, upgraded fridge with filtration in upgraded units, all appliances upgraded in the upgraded apartments and granite counters. Our initial move-in was rough because the neighborhood was still under construction at the time. But since construction ended last fall, everything has been much better/quiet. The maintenance staff is great, very fast to fix things. They have on-line bill pay & service requests. The office staff is very nice. All of our neighbors in our building are nice. No bugs, clean property, pool, grill, small but nice workout facilities. They have a very friendly pet policy. I think its a great value for the area, and its why we stayed. If someone wants nicer, I think they need to consider buying house/condo...
I was told you can have guests park in specific spot in the lot, the next day my brothers car got towed. The towing company they are in partner with is an absolute joke, bunch of idiots working for them. I had to pay 220 for an overnight tow that was about 3 miles away, contacted the apartment complex main office, they wouldn’t even bat their head to even try to help. This place is a joke
We have lived here at the Springs for almost a year. There are some good qualities about the property but overall, I wouldnt recommend it to my friends. The staff here is wonderful; they are prompt and always helpful and courteous. The apartment complex is kept clean with the exception of the garbage areas. People are always leaving broken furniture, bottles and other trash strewn around the dumpster vs. in the dumpster. But my four biggest complaints about the apartment are the noise/placement of the heater/air conditioner, thin walls, cheaply made cabinets and the vent hood over the range. For some unknown reason, the builders placed the intake vent for the air conditioner/heater right in the living room. When it comes on, it sounds like a freight train...you cant hear anything else but the obnoxious noise of the vent intake! Its very annoying you have to stop conversing and/or turn up or down the TV so that you can hear it over the air conditioner! My next complaint is about the cabinets throughout the whole apartment. They remind me of the cabinets from Ikea...inexpensive and unstable. We have had the doors to two of our cupboards fall off 3 times. The maintenance is always prompt to come and fix them and my husband has been able to fix them as well but a couple of times, the cupboard door fell right on my foot. The walls here do not block out any noise from the neighbors, we know every time they leave and come home...I am sure that is unintentional, but their door slams so hard it shakes our windows and constantly knocks the pictures on the wall askew. We have lived in other apartments and understand that you will hear your neighbors, but trust me when I tell you that it is exponentially worse here. It will drive you nuts. Luckily, our neighbors keep normal hours otherwise, I would move immediately. My last complaint is about the vent hood over the range. It doesnt vent!!! It sucks the air up and releases it back into the apartment. Thus, the simple act of frying bacon will set the fire alarms off because we cant vent the air from the kitchen. If I had known about the aforementioned items before I moved in, I would not have chosen this apartment complex to live at. The complex touts itself as luxury apts. unfortunately the only luxury aspect about them is the price.
Well I called to c a 1 bedroom never saw it.But they charged me 329.000 which I was not aware of.never moved there never even looked at....I found out when they put on my credit.I called them are you kidding me.They said thier mistake but still on my credit...I will be takeing them to small claims court..How many prpeop are they doing this too is my ? Terrible and they think its ok to do when I called them... AFTER READING REVIEW S THIS IS THERE FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR TAKING PEOPLES MONEY NOT RETURN ING I WILL BE HAPPY TO SHOW THE JUDGE.Fraudulent takeing peoples money c u in court with man others u have ripped off
Were do I even begin? I was there for a 3 mth prison sentence. It all started with the rent payment which let me tell you to the tune of 3000.00 a mth I signed a 3 mth lease due to a fire in my home. My insurance was covering the bill and when I left we had a 328.00 balance which went to collections and we payed it twice and it still shows up on my credit report W.T.F. The witch that lived under me would complain about the noise upstairs ( hey lady did you see 2 teenagers and the big bulldog that moved in upstairs) one night she called the cops for a domestic violence in our apartment which really pissed me off. I couldn’t get out of that place quick enough. Paw prints what a joke if you don’t clean up after your dog maybe you should have on what a discrace. This place is a joke.
March 2019 update - been very happy with the new management changes and have seen huge improvements to our community.
Character limit exceeded. 1/2:I lived in this complex from end of October 2015 through mid-November 2016. It was pure hell from the very beginning. This 13 month lease could not end soon enough. If you are in communication with any of the Springs management - Richard Montgomery, Kelsey Sheehan, Tara, just to name a few, just be patient; theyll respond next month.First, we were scheduled to move in on September 7, 2015. Because of the repeated delays in construction, we ended up having to live in a hotel room for almost 2 months. We still did not even move into the unit we were supposed to, because construction still was delayed. We ended up moving into a main-street (42) facing unit. At this point, we should have looked elsewhere but we were really excited to get into a brand new apartment that has never been lived in before, with all the amenities that the Springs boasted. Boy were we wrong.Upon moving in, we found various issues with the unit. The way things were put together, such as the flooring, cabinets, doors/doorknobs, blinds, etc. seemed really sloppy and cheap. Our center island countertop was not properly bolted down and would tilt. The materials LOOK nice but truthfully, it is all cheap, thin, and hastily slapped together. The AC/heating unit is ridiculously loud. I mean, LOUD. The bugs at this place are insane. There were always spiders, beetles, lady bugs, box cutter bugs, you name it - coming into the home. I have never experienced the amount of pests like I have here. For a brand new apartment, the insulation was unacceptable. The window in the master bedroom was not lined up correctly, so there was always a small crack at the bottom, letting in the aforementioned bugs and a draft.Smoke coming in through vents (in a NON-smoking builsing), parties, loud drinking and smoking outside any day of the week, alarms waking me up at 5am daily, the list goes on and on. Managements failure to handle these complaints was a constant theme.
I give this place zero stars. Dont let the luxury term fool you. This place is cheaply built. I rented a 2 bedroom upper with an attached garage for 13 months. Our garage was underneath the living room, so the sound of opening and closing did not bother us. But hoho...our neighbors garage was underneath our bedroom. Their front door was faced the opposite end of their garage. These neighbors used their garage like their front door. When they went out to smoke, take out garbage, letting dogs out(almost every hour), use their BBQ grill ugh, you name it, everything was through those doors. And yes our bedroom was on top of their garage and the insulation sucked. Listening and feeling the opening and closing of that garage door through out the night was hideous. So we can hear the neighbors around all 3 walls of the apartment. The furnace was so loud that you cant even have a conversation, and watch TV without turning the furnace off. Even the washer and dryer where loud as well. Our unit had 2 full baths and the guest bathroom had a vent with no switch that you cant turn off! That vent noise was so annoying that we had to keep the door closed all the time. We contacted maintenance about the vent that there might be a flaw in the installation. They said it stays on to circulate fresh air, fresh air? I dont see or feel any other ports of fresh air coming in. That drained our electricity bill big time. No water softener and a small water heater. When one person finish taking a shower you have to wait for the water heater to heat up more water so you can take a shower next. Now here comes the robbery. Our electricity bill averages about $180 a month! We are always at work, hardly home! We had a water bill for $150 for one month! Why so high? Oh its for watering the lawn and the swimming pool. Well thats not my property! Thats how much I pay for water for half a year at my old resident! In the winter they ask you to keep the garage heater on so the water pipes dont freeze. Thats a building flaw. And yes we had to pay for that too. Electric bill in the winter months were $250 for one month! Its an apartment not a 2 level single home! They also charged us for computer fees of $125 a month for their website.....? Wow! In the winter the maintenance crew would be shoveling snow at 1 in the morning! And its loud as hell! No sleep at all. I advise to stay away from the springs at Egan. My blood pressure has dropped 8 points since moving out. Im not looking forward to receiving my security deposit, because theyll steal that too. These crooks will rob you broke!
Nicole who is the manager is a big liar, if renting from them tape conversatrion because they will lie to you. They make promises and never keep them. Not trustworhty never respond to residents and they ammenties are a joke.
