I’ve used Heartland Tire a few times now for Valve Stem replacements, a couple of tire repairs, rotation and alignment. Everything was done on time or sooner, done correctly/good results and reasonable prices. I’ll continue to use them.

Customer (me): Why is the price more than the original quote? Them: cause when you bring your own part, the cost of labor goes up.. we make money on the part and reduced the labor. Every shop does this!. I guess this falls under clear business practices.

Solid place! Courteous, informative and patient with my rambling (running on very little sleep these days). Were prepping me for a possible $500 - $1,000 price tag if dismantling needed to take place, but was able to fix and resolve for about $60, so stories like that are ALWAYS appreciated!

Just so impressed with Rick and the guys here!!! Its hard to find such honest people at a big chain. These guys ALWAYS treat me and my vehicle right. ONLY telling me what I NEED on my car. Always offering rides or loaner cars! They are always friendly and know a lot about cars and Tires. Their Tire Prices are great too! Its great to job my car off for an oil change and tire rotate and know that is what I am going to get! They dont hassle me for extra stuff unless its really needed!! Great job guys!! Thank you!

Son drove up from out of state and hit a raccoon that damaged the sidewall of a tire. They squeezed him in first thing in the morning so he could get on the road to make it back home for evening shift. Got it done half an hour earlier than estimated. Awesome!

Heartland Tire was able to repair my Goodyear tire even though I had not bought it there. I had gone to a different brand tire shop first, and they told me the tire could not be repaired and could only sell me a new set of tires. I’m glad I got a second opinion at Heartland Tire.

They went above and beyond to get me back on the road safely. Highly recommend.

Rick and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service was excellent and I didn’t have to wait long for my oil change. Appreciated that they explained the different types of oil blends to use on my car.

Great place to go for service usually my cars get fixed fast decently priced for the area also if you go here on black friday you can get oil change coupons for cheap they also sell really good tires here and the staff are always really nice and polite and always explain whats going on with my cars i would recommend going here for your needs for getting your car fixed they also have loner cars for you to use if you want.

Great experience every time I come here! I’m very happy with the service and management at this location is so great! Very professional and great getting in appointments last min. I appreciate that they give you the receipt up front beforehand to sign for, no surprises like many places.

Excellent shop in Savage, treated my wife right and no BS!

Write my work truck in for brakes rotors a calliper and wheel bearing. Half-way down the road and the brand new wheel bearing was seized. They took care of me no charge with a loaner vehicle. Got the truck home and had engine lights go off and the engine died and could not restart. They not only covered the toe and another loaner vehicle but found that the problem was a bad alternator which happened to be on warranty. They even covered an oil change that I needed. These guys always go way above and beyond to make sure your going to be coming back.

BEWARE! There was a water pump replaced on my vehicle a few months before I bought it at this location. Was done in April 2020 and it’s December and its already leaking. There was a cork/paper gasket and not the factory on one it and the thermostat was stuck from some goo on it. I suggest not going to this place for engine work. Brought it to the factory dealer to have it done right and this place wouldn’t cover the difference in cost..

I have been a customer of heartland good year for years and have had great service in the past.I recently had an estimate to replace front break pads and rotors.There was a new manager and he quoted me $1000.00.I said that was too much.He said how about 800.00.I said no and he asked me how much I was willing to pay.I told him I would like to get another estimate.I called two service centers in the area one said $410.00 the other was $400.00. I agreed to 400.00 at Bobs auto and was very satisfied with the work.I have never written a review but I felt I should advise customers to compare heartlands prices to others.

Always a great experience! I have had my vehicle serviced here since we moved to the area a few years ago. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and the place is always clean. I have always left feeling confident in the services provided. They even offer a loaner car if needed which I appreciate.

Dont come here, they will over charge you and have rude service. Ive spent thousands of dollars here, literally thousands now for horrible service. I had a really bad leak and I needed it fixed so I left my car over the weekend. They ended up getting to it the next Monday. So I got a call in the morning, the call lasted 1 minuet (this is important). They told me the leak was coming from my water pump and I would need a new one, I said okay, they then said that I would also need to tighten two sway bars. They werent broken, but they were loose. So I said okay, the guy on the phone then told me itll all come to $572, and I said great theyd get it done by the end of the day. So That was the end of the conversation. They hadnt yet done anything to my car, but to diagnose the leak which was paid for at the low low price of 100 dollars (Sarcasm). My phone conversation ended at 10:20 am. I get a call at 3:10 pm which lasted about 1 minuet again saying my car was done. This is 4 hours and 50 minuets, and if they were working on my car for 4 hours and 50 minuets straight thats a lot of labor. So when I come in to pick up my car they dont tell me my total they just say, how are you paying. When I get my bill its over $1,400. Had it been the original total plus 100-150 thats just dishonest but I would lived with it. This amount is more than two times the amount I heard over the phone. I start looking over the bill, .75 hours diagnostic (labor), 3.6 hours water pump labor, 1 hour labor for coolant flush (needed because of the leak), 1 hour sway bar REPLACEMENT. That is over 6 hours of labor when at most they would have only been working on my car for 4 hours and 50 minuets, because once again they did not get my approval to do anything besides diagnostic until 10:20 am.Additionally I didnt ask for a replacement on FOUR sway bars, just tightening two. But, I got a full replacement, I was told one in the front and one in the back that needed tightening, their response was one in front and one in back mean both in front both in back, but chose to phrase it wrong and instead of tightening they replaced them all. When confronted over the phone the rude manager told us that we were told everything that was going to be done in detail. They told us everything over a conversation that lasted one minuet? They decided to be rude about, even when confronted with the evidence. They overcharged and were dishonest the entire time. Bring your business elsewhere.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Heartland/Goodyear for 20 years and have always had great service.

My car had a faulty battery installed at another garage, and the guys at heartland tire provided me with the right help and documentation to get a refund from the manufacturer when they didnt believe me and didnt want to issue a refund. Heartland didnt even charge me for keeping the battery there and running the tests. Theyre great!

Purchased tires, the price was good but the service was average, waited too long to get them put on. There was only 1 person there besides me there. Seems like it was everybodys first day.

I have an auto wholesale dealership in Burnsville and have been using Heartland Goodyear in savage for a few years. Brandon and Joe up front are excellent and they have a very good service crew. All of my cars go thru a complete inspection by them. They do not over sell, they just let me know what I truly need. Highly recommend this place for your auto repairs, they wont disappoint! Rob

Was here a couple months ago In the afternoon. I had a flat tire that needed to be done. They said it would take an hour when the shop was almost empty. I ended up going somewhere else because the guy with glasses at the desk couldnt even look me in the eyes when giving me excuses(Rudely might I add) of how long it would take. When it was all over, I had spent only 35 minutes leaving his shop and going somewhere else before my tire was fixed.

I have been a customer of this shop for over 15 years. I went there initially because it is so conveniently located for me, but I keep going back because of the fantastic customer service. They are quick, straightforward and honest about what work you need and what work you dont need, they stand by their work if there are ever any issues, and they treat you like they would like you to keep coming back. Works for me!

This is the only place I trust to work on my car. They are honest, fair and well priced. Every time Ive gone in to have something done, it was done quickly and they always find me a coupon to apply to the bill. I even brought my car in once for something I thought could be major and they told me they just needed to tighten something and sent me on my way without charging me a cent. That right there won my business for good. I definitely recommend this place.

My husband had a horrible experience there. He went in for a tire rotation and balance. Person who greeted him was rude, hostile and not helpful. Questioned what service my husband requested even after he told him what he wanted. Other customers who were waiting seemed to have the same complaints. He had originally purchased the tires from this store and didn’t have a great experience but wanted to give them another chance. Never again.

Called to get a time estimate for a tire change. I was told 2 hours. I called 2 and a half hours later and it turns out they had to order the tire and didn’t have it yet. 0/10

I set an appointment 5.9.19 they were awesome employees and super fast. They checked our tire which we had a nail stuck in and something with the tire pressure leak which they were able to fix. I would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Just wanted to write this review because I am shocked at the amazing service Ive received now twice at this location. I drive an older jeep and knew it had alot of problems I called last min to try and get in for an inspection and not only did they quickly get me in but they inspected my car and fixed it within a 3 hour period and provided me a loaner. The younger gentlemen at the front Im blanking on his name but a asian american man was patient and kind and broke everything down for me. Steve worked on my car and is quick and professional! Take your car here they are honest, kind and overall extremely helpful.

They like to reward sub par work and fire hard working employees with disabled children the management is immature and regularly goes on power trips .

I stopped as my car showed tire pressure problem. Jon who was there checked the tire pressure and put air in tires for me. I didn’t even get out of the car. That’s SO NICE of him to do it, and I can’t thank him enough for that. You’re the best of the bestest!👍

I have been taking vehicles to this particular Goodyear store for 10 years, and overall, I have been satisfied with the service I have received. There have been many occasions where I dropped off a vehicle with no appointment and had the vehicle fixed within what I considered a reasonable period of time. On multiple occasions I have taken advantage of the loaner vehicle which they offered me so that I was able to run errands or continue on with my daily business while my vehicle was being taken care of. Over a ten year period I have had a few occasions where I thought some of the communication from the folks at the front desk could have been better, but based on the sheer number of times I have used this store I would recommend them to others. I have had almost everything imaginable done to my vehicles at this store, ranging from $20 to $1,200 jobs.

Id been going to this location and the Bloomington location for around 8 years. I used to love them. Never a problem, always up front with cost. Then, the last 3x Ive been in for an oil change at Savage... poor customer service from the manager coupled with having to call back (busy signals) multiple times to get an answer from the business to make an appointment. Bought a new car and will not be back.

This location is OK for oil changes, even then you get told that multiple parts are failing and need to be replaced.Any other work here is a hassle. I understand mistakes but having to repeatedly take my vehicle in to have parts put back together correctly should not happen.Had a PVC Valve fail in my Chevy Cruze. I was in a jam because Goodyear was the only place open over the weekend. Brought it in and it was replaced. Took car back and drove to work and check engine light came on less then a hour later! Had to drive back and wait to have the part put back together correctly. Highly advise anyone that takes their vehicle here to get a second opinion. I much rather do the oil changes on the rest of my vehicles myself.Not coming back.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Called there to get a price on tires for my Dually, needed all 6 got a good quote for middle of the road tired which is exactly what I asked for, they had the tires and installed them in about 3 hours, we left there in the pouring rain hooked up the fifth wheel and headed for Florida, we got about 300 miles away when the truck started to ride very rough, stopped at a chevy dealer where they found the tires not balanced correctly and at least one of them had a flat spot, called and spoke to a very rude man Paul, ended up hanging up and calling corporate, they made arrangements for me to go to a good year close to my location where they found that 4 out of the 6 tires were bad! They made it right so thank you good year corporate!

Don’t go here this place is terrible worst service ever had a appointment for a oil change came back 30mins later still not done after another 30mins still not done the guy at the counter was very rude and unpleasant to work with and was refusing to give his name and the name of the manager will be calling corporate about this as this place before today has been a pleasure to work with! I will bring my business elsewhere and not regret not ever coming or referring another soul on this earth to this terrible establishment!

The employees were extremely helpful and were able to do a last minute repair without me having to come back. I have had excellent service here in the past as well.

I have brought my vehicle here 4 times over the life of 2 cars to diagnose and solve a problem I could not fix. In every instance, Heartland Tire explained the condition, solved the problem, was quick with the service, and was reasonable with the cost. I am happy do to business with them in the future.

I had a flat tire I needed fixed at 6:30 pm on 7/17/17. This was the third shop I had called and all they said was come on in. I had my tire fixed in no time and continued on to Duluth. Thank you to the staff at Savage Tire! Great service at a great price.

Best customer service I have experienced at any establishment. Have been a customer for 6 years and never have had a complaint.

Had my oil changed and the windshield wipers replace. My bill came to over $80 which I thought was high. I had been told when I brought my car in that the oil change would cost $29.99 and the new wipers would be $24.99. The guy at the counter did not say $24.99 EACH. Although they applied a $10.00 discount to the oil change, I still had to pay over twice that for the wipers. And then when I got home and picked up my mail, there was a coupon book from the same shop offering $10 off an oil change and $10.00 off a pair of wiper blades. Frankly, I think I got ripped off and wont be taking my car back there.

I was pleased with the service and glad that they let me bring in my own parts. Its nice that they open early and stay open late so that I could bring my car in after work and pick it up early the next morning.

After having to take our car back multiple times for the same problem that was supposedly fixed each time, we still dont have the problem resolved but are out $800. We were promised a phone call from a manager after the last time but the call never came. So now were left trying to figure out where to go or what to do with the car.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful! Easy to make appointments and its always quick service (from my experience). By far my favorite location in the twin cities! :)

I go here for oil changes. The reason: they dont try to tell me that I should replace this or that like other places do. They do the oil change and maybe make a note on something that might need attention, but its not pushed on me as something that I need to do right now. Mostly, they change the oil without a big fuss.

Needed to fix a tractor tire that had broken a bead. They dont do tractor tires, but they fixed me up just the same. I asked how much, and he said nothing, have a good evening.Cant beat service like that.Thank you!

Friendly staff at this location. Went to get a tire patched but there was no penetration. They had the whole tire off the wheel but still didnt charge me.Months later I went in to have new tires mounted. I was prepping the wheels for winter so I went home immediately after the mounting to put on my summer set. Every single lug nut was over-torqued. Ive ran into this issue before with other shops and I think its a common problem. This was the worst over-torquing Ive ever seen though. I couldnt break the nuts loose with my 4-way lug (what would happen if I were to get a flat on the side of a road and needed to change wheels??). Im a really fit muscular 31 yr old male and it was hell.I had to go to Home Depot and buy a 4 foot pipe with heavy duty 1/2 wrench and impact socket to leverage these lug nuts off. Each nut creaked like a cargo ship hitting ocean waves. The car would lunge forward about a foot before the nuts cracked loose. Unacceptable! A torque wrench is supposed to be used to tighten lug nuts but I can guarantee without a shadow of a doubt that the guy tightening used his impact wrench and torqued each lug nut down the hardest it could go. I even broke one lug nut trying to get it off! Over torqued nuts can damage the wheel system and cause future repairs. Impact wrenches can over torque 3-5 times more than specified. Im specd at around 100 ft lbs and it felt like it was torqued around 400 ft lbs... Something more for a heavy duty truck, not a car...A good repair shop should never make the job harder for the next guy to fix. Especially something as simple as a tire change... Ill be in heaven the day these shops stop using their impact wrenches to tighten lug nuts! This is the main reason why I work on my own car (you want something done right, you do it yourself) but I dont have a tire mounter or wheel balancer so Im at the mercy of these kids with impact wrenches... Torque wrench to spec, not impact! Mechanics 101. Sorry but as a new customer, I cannot return. Maybe if I had 5 good experiences and you messed up on the 6th, I can understand. Never botch a new customer though...

Ive had a half dozen repairs and one set of tires for my cars and van over the last eight years. I find they tend to cost a bit more than some of my other choices, but their work has always been excellent, so they are my recommendation when it really needs to be done right the first time.

I will never return here. This is my experience. I bought a used car for my kid and took it there to do the used car inspection.Got a clean bill of health except for there was a small oil leak. They put dye in the oil and then said it was the main seal. Well turns out it wasn’t because based on their price i got a 2nd opinion and the fix was less than 100 bucks.I also had them put a new power window motor in that worked great for a few weeks and then it stopped...Why? Well it wasn’t fully connected probably a good thing since one of the wires was pinched between the door and the door panel.Gets better from here....The tires on the vehicle were severely weather checked to the point it was dangerous, but based on the inspection the tires were in great shape based with tons of tread left etc. I found out the problem when one of them separated on the way to drop this car off for my kid in SD.You would also think that since they had done a used car vehicle check that they would have realized there was a dead cell in the battery that I ended up replacing because it wouldnt hold a charge.This makes me question whether the transmission flush, engine flush, and the power steering flush were even done it also seemed weird it was sitting in the exact same place it was when I brought it in. I do know that they did something because there was a greasy handspring my and engine oil on the front bumper and the hood.I will be contacting the corporate Goodyear office as well as the Savage BBB in the next few days. I also bought continental tires because if Goodyear is ok with having their name on a business that operates this way, I will never buy another Goodyear product again.Save yourself headaches and the over 1000 bucks I spent and go somewhere else.

Update:9/22/2020 I recently got a oil change 4 months ago when they were finished I could hear my car slam down off the hoist. Yesterday I went in got a oil change and I was asked if filters were dirty to change them I told them no I dont want them changed. I was then shown my filters in the lobby of the store once again no not interested in changing them at 50 bucks for a filter I could do it myself. I told him to bang the dirt off and put them back. He tried to hand the filters to me and tell me to do it wth?! Long story short drive my car this morning to work could barely breath in my car dust everywhere, they put both my filters back in my car backwards. I definitely wont be getting any more work done here. I once rated this place 5 stars a couple years ago 2017.

Really nice peoples and honest with what they do i took car in for inspection before i buy the car quickly they got back to me and told what was wrong in the car before they even do the full inspection and manager didnt charge me at all i recommend them to everyone .

As a former mechanic I wouldn’t spend a dime at this location. The technicians leave bolts loose and can’t figure simple issues out and just throw parts at your car. Over priced labor and parts were over priced as well I understand you have to make money. But when you put a cheap part in and charge for OEM that’s not ok. After throwing parts at the car they obviously had no clue what the actual problem was so they quoted me for a transmission. The tech didn’t even take the car for a test drive to see what the problem was. So beyond annoyed with this location I won’t be returning here for anything. Stay away if you need any thing more than a simple brake job.

Burnsville location is much better, cheaper, and not time consuming. It would have took Savage 3 hours, almost 200 dollars to fix the problem. Burnsville quoted me 45 minutes, 150$. Of course Im taking it to Burnsville. The old, balding man, with glasses at the front desk was rude. I was being helped by someone else and he got up, made it a point to throw my papers and keys at me and said Thank you in a nasty tone. He does not answer your questions. He will hang up on you if you are about to ask a question, he will be very vague, or he will cut you off. STAY AWAY from this location. Overpriced work, horrible customer service. Burnsville is much better, more friendly, have FREE COFFEE AND CANDY, BETTER priced than this location, will work with you more, and the owner is a very nice guy. Please, if you have car trouble never bring it here.

Ive gotten tires there as well as oil changes. I like that they talk to me about some recommendations, but they dont push any repairs and leave it up to my decision. They are a bit spendy, but will gladly pay a little more for an honest auto mechanic.

Told me my brake caliper was bad, $500 later that wasnt even the issue, turned out to be the control arm bushings which are ripped and therfore making a clunk noise. Wonderful!

Went in for an oil change, they told me Id need 2 air filters changed, I agreed, then they came back and said the parts werent available, buttoned up the car and sent me on my way.

Brought in a flat tire for inspection. was told tire not repairable, order new tire. paid over a 100 for single new tire, when I brought my car in I was told the labor charged was to inspect tire and that they could not put the tire on my car because I didnt pay enough in labor cost for them to do the job .... didnt make any sense to me. most likely will not ever be going back.
