Technician was good and fixed my machine. The company is deceptive in their pricing and don’t tell you they charge by job. They tell you the diagnostic fee with be deducted from you labor cost and it is not. Provided me with coupon towards labor and parts . Didn’t apply it correctly and would not adjust it. Would not be specific in an hourly labor rate but charged $330 for 1 hr and 20 mins of work. WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

The first guy said he fixed it left went to do a load of laundry and nothing! Still doing the same thing !! Called back explaining its still broken after being charged 180.00 dollars . Had to wait another week for Second guy and when he came he throws a hiss fit because a have a G.E. washing machine!!! Are you kidding me!!!! Not expressed at all!!

Great technician, knew his business. He offered up some things to do to not have the problem again, then proceeded to fix the refrigerator. It took very little time and we felt the price was reasonable, its great to have the appliance back to normal. Would recommend this repair service, they fixed the problem where others failed, including Samsung technicians!

The serviceman was rude, condescending and hostile. He was unable to diagnose the problem (maybe not his fault, after waiting 3 1/2 weeks for the service call covered under my appliance protection agreement, the refrigerator magically began working again two days before. He did not believe me, either about the problem or about the lengthy delay in getting service. Worse, he pulled the refrigerator away from the wall, and broke the water line. He showed me about 2 Tablespoons of water on the floor, with a visible drip, and stated that you have a leak. Given the rate of drip, and the amount of water, it was 100% clear: this had JUST HAPPENED. He insisted it was a pre-existing problem. He did not offer me any paperwork to sign and left abruptly after that, after telling me that my coils should be cleaned (covered annually under my service agreement) but refusing to do it. Perhaps the worst offense: I called Sears Service immediately: I was promised another service person would be in touch and be at my home later in the day. At 3 pm, with no communication, I called back, after almost an hour on hold and 2 transfers, I filed a claim for the damage. And, when I went into my email to look up some details from the service call, I saw that the repairman had filed a form in which I allegedly acknowledged a pre-existing leak, and signed for me with an X. I assure you, I was given nothing. I signed nothing. I have NEVER signed my name with an X.

My experience with the technician who came and repaired my machine was fantastic. If this is any indication of the service people you have working for you, I applaud Sears for this. This technician was very friendly and likable. He explained everything he was going to do and I found him very knowledgeable. His attitude, demeanor, and attention to detail were exemplary. I would not hesitate to use this service again. You are lucky to have employees like this. Thanks Sears Appliance Repair. He arrived when he said he would and was very thorough.

Service technician was terrific, BUT company policy and procedure poor. Follow up service visit was cancelled by company without notifying us until we called late in day. Also, billing was not consistent with what was represented up front by person scheduling the service. First attempts to call company to discuss billing went unanswered. Discussed via online live chat but promised follow up call from company was never received. Eventually got someone on phone but no refund offered.

I let them know what was needed when I set the appointment up. When they came they had to order the part so we had to wait another week to get it. So they had to come twice. Made no sense at all they have the model number and information ahead of time

The technician that came to my house was awesome! He came in with a smile, greeted me and my dog, and for right to work. He worked independently in my basement for about half an hour and was able to resolve my problems and service my washer. He even helped me with an issue with my dryer and told me how to fix it. He truly went above and beyond! I was thrilled with the service, attitude, and efficiency of this service!

The repairman, Carmen, was very knowledgeable about the machine.arrived on time, and told us exactly what was wrong, and lucky for us he had the part in the truck.We knew what the cost of the service visit would be, and it was taken off the bill. The maintenance person was very helpful. He mentioned a couple of things I could do as a customer to have longer life with the refrigerator.I do not like the process in setting up the appointment. That could be improved. Sears is automating the process where you do not talk to anyone. I prefer to talk to a US customer service person for my appointment..

The technician was polite, professional and friendly. Unfortunately I realized the next day that my washer was still broken and spent the next 3 business days calling to schedule a 2nd repair because the computer were down. I feel confident if I could have just gotten a message to the technician, he would have come to my home ASAP to sort it out as I feel he is dependable. Unfortunately my second repair date will be 2 weeks after the first.

My water heater started leaking on 8/6/16. I called and asked if it was still under warranty as it is only 7.5 years old. I was told that it was not under warranty and it was suggested that I purchase a protection plan which would cover parts, service, and replacement up to $500. After purchasing this (~$200) and scheduling for someone to come out on 8/16/16 I looked for my water heater paperwork. {note, I never received confirmation of this charge nor the protection plan contract .. I called back and was emailed the contract but still no payment confirmation}When I found my paperwork I learned that the water heater has a 12 year manufacturers warranty. Also, going online I was able to reschedule the appointment to 8/11/16. The tech who came out submitted the info and said someone would call me back.I was out of the house when the call came in. I called them back as was disconnected multiple times (the line is always full of static whether I use the land line or cell phone). I was finally able to speak with someone who said I was covered under the protection plan up to $500. I informed him that the tank was still under manufactures warranty. He said he needed to speak to another department and someone would get back to me.I ended up having to call back (multiple times again) and was told that I would get a call back this morning (8/12/16). That call never came so I called (and have been on hold for over 1.5 hours).The woman I spoke with today tells me that I can either get the tank free from the manufacturer’s warranty and pay for the install along with the permit and some code fee OR I could use the protection plan and pay the difference on the water heater cost plus (parts and labor covered).This is extremely frustrating. I keep getting bounced to different departments and then when I finally speak with someone they tell me I need another department and I get switched back to the first one.Ended up using the protection plan and had to pay the extra but this gives me the full 12 year warranty on the new machine. Total time without hot water was 10 days. NOT ACCEPTABLE

The service person was on time for both appointments. He is a very nice man. Only complaint is he smokes before entering my smoke free home. The smell lingers for hours, have to spray a disinfecting scent to eliminate this nasty odor.He works quickly to service the appliances.Would appreciate another service person for our future visits.Thank you.

On this appointment, all went on schedule and the experience was pleasant. The tech arrived after calling me an hour before arrival, he was efficient, attentive, and prepared. The appointment lasted about an hour, and everything was completed to my satisfaction.

The technician who visited our home was the ultimate professional. Explained everything he was doing clearly. When moving things out of the refrigerator made sure he asked my permission to place these things on the kitchen table. I was impressed that he was able to review what the required repairs wouldve cost if we did not have a protection planWhat kept this review from being five stars, was the struggle I had to get a door shelf and shelf on top of our crisper drawers replaced. The technician was told since it was a crack in the plastic that this was cosmetic. It took an additional call on my part to document the functional reasons this replacement was necessary (Crisper draw stuck and refrigerator door shelf so cracked it was ready to split in two and was unable to hold anything with any weight)I must say that my repeat call to get the shelves replaced was handled very appropriately and escalated to someone who was able to get both items ordered

This is the 3rd technician that has come to our house and not done anything - the first 2 did not hear the noise the dryer was making.When I placed this last call I noted that the washer and dryer are stacked in a cabinet and requested 2 technicians so they could be moved - this was based on the advice of our previous technician.Only one technician arrived and instead of addressing the problem the technician criticized the placement of the washer/dryer.I followed all of the manufactures specifications on the placement inside the cabinet (clearance, ventilation, etc.). I also used the manufactures stacking kit - which I purchased from Sears!A 4th technician recently arrived and figured out the issue. The only reason we would have needed 2 technicians is if we did not have an access panel in our cabinet. If this was the case then one technician would have had to hold up the dryer while the other connected the vent and then slid the washer in under it. We have always had an access panel so it was simply a matter of reaching in and hooking the vent back up.none of the previous technicians took the time to explain this and simply said we need 2 guys. If they had asked (or looked) they would have realized we had an access panel.Ultimately this was a 15 minute fix - pull out the dryer and remove dent in the side panel

Work was completed efficiently and completely, and the service person was a real pleasure to talk to. Very friendly and professional. My only complaint is that the first scheduled appointment window kept me home for a four-hour window and then the service person got so backed up on other jobs that he never came. My appointment was rescheduled, but only after I wasted a whole day waiting for a solution that never came. It wasnt the service persons fault, he did his best. But to be stood up after blocking off 4 hours of a precious holiday weekend was very unsatisfactory.

My dryer is only 2 years old is making an awful squeaking noise. The repair service man said the drum is warped. He couldnt fix it because it was still working. I plan to call again. I want the drum replaced I dont want to listen to that noise all day, and neither do the children in my house. Its kind of like fingernails on a chalk board. I paid for the policy to have my equipment in good repair. I did call them and they ordered the part for me and should be back out to repair dryer when the part arrives. I have had good service in the past so expect my dryer will be repaired when the part comes in.

I had two visits, one to diagnose and one to actually fix the problem. I feel the cost was exorbitant for the diagnosis - well over $100 to tell me yes, there was a problem. (No kidding!) The repair seems OK right now but the repairman left the old motor and other materials behind in a box - I guess I need to deal with throwing them out? I wonder what the cost would have been if I went independent...

Waited 14 days for an appointment. Technician replaced a part and left and it stopped working again after running it one time. The next available appointment was another 10 days and they refused to schedule anything sooner and said they had no protocol for prioritizing a recall appointment.

Started with my freezer not working- technician said it was a wire hanging down that stopped the fan from working which apparently burnt out the fan motor. Technician came back to install new fan motor a couple weeks later. It appeared to work although the refrigerator now sounded like a jet airplane taking off. Had to have another technician come out and take a look (5 days later- the earliest emergency appointment that was available)- He said he fixed it but one day later BOTH my freezer and refrigerator are NOT WORKING!! Im now out $500 and in worse shape than I started. Not to mention all of the food that went bad after stocking up (over $250 worth!). So not happy

I was not too please with the service, i pay for a maintenance which allows me to have the dryer maintained twice a year. When i told the man it didnt need a repair, just maintenance, i figured he would clean out the lint trap and re-level it. He did nothing, it still shakes and is not level.
