I reached out to this law office to discuss a tax issue with Mary.I’m all for value, however I did not see the value in this consultation.Firstly, I was never informed of an initial consultation fee. I’ve engaged in several initial business consultations with law offices in the past; they were free 15 minute consultations unless otherwise mentioned (there was no mention here).The phone conversation with Miss King lasted an entirety of 5 minutes (I checked my call log). In those brief minutes, Mary seemed cold throughout our conversation; essentially me asking her questions to gauge if I was in the right place due to her seeming so short-worded over the phone. It felt like I was pulling teeth. Ultimately, the conversation ended in me being referred to one of Mary’s tax preparers as she stated she couldn’t answer any of my questions. I shortly received a $150 consultation fee through email. I didn’t feel as though this was worth the time or money as I didn’t receive much guidance for this consultation. Therefore, I’d like to request the removal of this invoice. And I’ve already sought business elsewhere that addressed my concern.
