Absolutely love my new Subzero appliances! Mullets was great to work with through the whole process.
This is the worse company to deal with. My products are inferior damaged fridge will not replace drawer. Damaged griddle will not refund or replace. Damaged and rusty pizza cart will not refund money. Terrible company. Since he took over the business it has Gond downhill. Very dishonest owner. I can say he is the worse. If there were a 0 that’s what I would rate them. Very disappointed. These products were supposed to be AlFresco. The pizza cart has no name on it. 👎 the outdoor kitchen company was gracious enough to refund my money but Mullets would not refund them.
Horrible customer service. They dont call back. Dont wear masks. Dont answer phone calls. Eventually just canceled my order after 2.5 months. Will never use again. And Mullets dont say its a pandemic supply thing. My repair guy had the part in a few days!!!
We had issues with a GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer. Mullet’s was extremely helpful in trying to repair the problem, and when that was not successful they issued me credit for the labor and parts of the repair. I then ordered a new replacement appliance and their installment crew was exceptional in how they got it into our condo and set it up. I would not hesitate to recommend them and personally use them again.
Edited, I was pretty hot that my new gas stove didnt work. They made multiple trips but could not fix it. Turns out the regulator on the tank was incorrect, not their fault. Scott Mullet did go the extra mile to get it the Ice Maker working once he got involved.
I think I would die of a heart attack if Nate Mullet ever returned one of my 30 phone calls. I guess being related to the owner means you dont have to be concerned with customer service. You would think after spending $ 32 K on high end appliances would get you a little bit of respect. But once we paid for them all of a sudden it became like pulling teeth to get an answer back on anything. :/
Excellent place.Great selection.Knowledgeable staff.Only place we will shop
Sounds good, but always a story. So, let me follow up a bit on my short review and why I thought it was an incredible encounter worth sharing to my SRQ neighbors. No, Mullets does not upset me in the least, but they should be upset and your premium brands should simply be concerned. For accuracy, I am pleased to provide more details. Your first technician kept the unit disassembled, (after I stop the leak), solely for the arrival of your lead technician and the diagnostic tests he would conduct on the compressors, etc. as your other technician advised, which was really not an issue. Why else would he have left them unassembled? If your first technician was here, then why would he not just put it back together? You see your story is not accurate as you state. Nevertheless, the real issue is with the arrival of your lead technician for subzero that has to be told four times by two people the same simplistic fact - that the units are fluctuating in temperature for the past three years, (while under your care). Then after much reflection, he suggests we put a coin on a frozen cup of water just to make sure there really is a fluctuation of temperature. Wow, ok we though having the ice cream in the freezer turn to liquid and the beverages freezing in the refrigerator for 3 years would have convinced your lead detective, but dont take our word for it! Ahh, then perhaps the question that could solve it all! - are we shutting the doors completely? So, in the end there could be no technical diagnosis of either Subzero because there there were no problems at that moment that they were functioning, (hard to believe), but thats why subzero has a corporate office. In any case, I understand how proud your are that you have represented these fine brands for decades- fantastic for you. I cant help to think your service and company was operating in quite a different manner in the past. Regardless you should be more focused about your present and future. Thanks, but no thanks on your quote for replacing two subzeros based upon a hunch of what your technician thinks may be wrong them without performing one test that could identify and/or provide any supporting evidence of his hypothesis; that it may be a system issue and water may be within the system, (not sure your meaning of control issue), and that all the components and guts of both fridge and both freezers need to be replaced .P.S. Tell your lead technician to have some courtesy and where a mask.
Worst appliance experience EVER - and I used to be in the business. THIS is why small stores cant compete - the customer service is terrible. Andrew was an awful sales person - couldnt sell water to a deserted man in the desert. Lack of follow up. Ordered the WRONG appliances. Failed to inform me of promotions from Viking which basically would have given me an upgraded oven for free. Hood showed up damaged - never called back. Already had to call Viking to service fridge (because I know Mullets wont return my call). Called the hood company to get any idea what is going on with the damaged part. And while COVID crisis has shrunk supply, youd think theyd make an effort. ZERO stars should be an option. Avoid at all cost. And Mullets SPARE me any response to this post. You have no excuse for the awfulness of your entire customer experience.
Great customer service!
Ive done business with Mullets Appliances for over 12 years. Ive purchased many appliances from them over those years and have always been impressed by the products they sell and their amazing customer service. The sales, service and parts department are staffed with the most knowledgeable people Ive ever dealt with in this industry. My latest purchase, a Wolf Professional cooktop (see picture) is another great addition to my kitchen and again, I credit the sales professionals at Mullets for helping me make the right choice for my needs and having so many high quality appliances to choose from. Thank you.
Nice local appliance store that has higher end appliances. Very helpful and honest about what they sell. Like they will tell you what products have problems. Prices are competitive.
The best around! We bought a whole house of appliances and couldnt love them more. They have a beautiful showroom and their salespeople are very knowledgeable. Delivery and install went off without a hitch. Would definitely recommend!
We have been renovating a tiny 1951 old Englewood cottage and have worked with Andrew at Mullet’s for all our appliances. He sold us the Miele washer and dryer that is perfect for small spaces. We were also able to get a 24 inch range and fridge. Excellent service! Every email and call was responded to promptly, service was what you would expect from a professional. If quality and service is important shop here. I would highly recommend this business.
Excellent customer service as soon as we walked in the door. Gail was terrific to deal with and the two installers of our new KitchenAid refrigerator were professional and meticulous. Highly recommend Mullets.
Met Andrew Owens...very knowledgeable helped us locate the perfect refrigerator for our new home.....
Great job finding the unit we needed and letting us know delivery status. Also connected us with a great 3rd party installer who charged less than originally priced out
This company gave me an estimate for 4 small halogen lights for my stove hood. Their estimate was $56 per bulb and $120 for the service call for a total of $344. I found the exact same bulb online for $0.85 per bulb and replaced the bulbs myself for a total of $3.44, one one-hundredth the cost. When I called to complain I was told the ‘authorized’ bulbs are $56 each. Absolutely ridiculous, I used the very same bulb as the original.
The only place to even think about getting appliances. We had purchased at Monark and when they couldn’t get our appliances because of their parent company Sears having bankruptcy issues we were directed towards Mullets. We will be forever grateful to Mullets for coming through in a crunch for us. Thank you thank you!!!
Best appliance store ever.
They take the time to show you everything. Their prices are a little bit more than most but the brands they sell or top of the line.
They repaired my Subzero refrigerator and now its working perfectly. We got a quote from someone else and Mullets was substantially less and faster than the competition.
BEWARE My mother ordered a dishwasher back in Nov they said it was back ordered until January. We just called to see if it came in and now they say it is back ordered until March. This is terrible customer service that they did not call and let us know that it would be back ordered another couple months.
Always a pleasure to do business with! So happy with our new indoor and outdoor kitchen appliances!
We just bought all of our new appliances from them. They did a great job. They have the most beautiful showroom Ive ever seen!
Used them for service and they did a very professional job. The technician fixed my Subzero refrigerator for a very reasonable price given the price of a new one. Would highly recommend them. Very fair and honest.
Very kind and knowledgeable.
As new home owners in the Sarasota area, we really didnt know who to call for appliance repair. Read the reviews for Mullet on line and called them. Our technician, Doug, was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue we had with the dishwasher and stove. He was efficient and very professional. When we had an emergency with our side-by-side refrigerator, I called Mullet and they arranged for immediate service. Doug once again quickly took care of the problem. Very happy with Mullet Appliances and recommend them highly, especially Doug!
We purchased many kitchens full of appliances from them over the years. Always the best!
Very rude and not qualified. Wasted 3K and problem still not fixed. Not returning calls and definitely they are not coming to fix their poor job. I am honestly surprised they are still in business. RIPOFF!!!
Very friendly, professional technicians; service calls are not scheduled, they can only give you a date then call you the morning of your service call to provide the time...so you have to block an entire day from your schedule.
Called Mullets at 2PM for urgent repair to our 18 year old refrigerator. Repair 4PM completed by 5:30PM. All our food is saved! Thank you.
Great company
We bought a Miele dishwasher from Mullet’s and LOVE IT! The price was what it would be anywhere else or online, so why not support local economy? We didn’t have any issues, but did pick up and install ourselves.
Very bad experience. Bought a washer and dryer. Washer was so loud we couldnt stand it. We were told to upgrade to top of the line model (at our expense) to get quitter machine. The washer was 1 year and 44 days old . Repairman came out ($90) and announced the whole tub needed to be replace. ($500). Talked to sales manager to get a break on parts since the machine had only been used 6 months . He told me my complaint was with the manufacturer and I should call them directly. They did not have time work on MY problem. My advice go buy from any of the box stores or internet. Youll get a much better price and you can buy a reasonable service contact. Mullets only want to sell outlandish service contracts. Even with the contract Im sure theyll find a way to charge you extra. If you got money to throw away, theyre a great way to do it.I fixed the machine for $90 dollars and found the original assembly error and corrected it.
Excellent company that I highly recommend.
First of all for the people that buy expensive equipment like Viking and have it fail I dont know what to say. If you want commercial appliances that restaurants depend on day after day then go with Garland or South Bend. It has a pilot light, you turn on a valve, gas comes out and gets ignited. Then you cook. Its that simple. Dont know why you need a control board. Want a timer? There is a timer on your iPhone.I came to the store to buy a part for my dryer and was told I needed a model number. Their database did not have the ability to look up the brand and model. All dryers with a filter on top are made by Whirlpool. Its that simple and the part is universal to all of them. Instead they told me they had 4,000 parts. So I doubt their customer service and expertise. All Appliance Parts on Bee Ridge Road had the same part for $3 less.
No-pressure sales help, super fast installation. I sure appreciate Mullett’s!
As always, superb service with a smile +++ As well, well informed and customer oriented installers. A pleasure to deal with …..
Was placed on a schedule two weeks after their technician diagnosed the problem with my DCS grill. Seemed like a long time to wait but I had no choice because they were charging me $69 for the service call. They were supposed to be here yesterday for the repair. They called me and told me they had ordered the wrong parts and I would be rescheduled once the correct parts were in. Just received a call telling me I would have to wait another two weeks for the repair. Pretty outrageous. You would think they would move me to the top of their current schedule but no such luck. They couldnt care less.
Went in the price appliances for new construction. Very helpful and Nate spent a lot of time with us to make sure we made the best choices for our needs. Prices are competitive and they carry all the high-end brands. Even carry kegerators and grills.
Terrible experience with Mullets. Delivered wrong washer and dryer and was $600 more than local competitors. Also, did not complete installation of our $21k+ appliances. Strongly don’t Recommend
Great sales and service! Been buying from them for years.
Beautiful showroom showcasing some of the best appliances available. Very professional sales team and technicians, and Patrick in the parts department is just stellar.
I purchased a high end washer/dryer set from this company for $3,400 including delivery and set up. The set up has been a series of mistakes. Specifically, the company did not have dryer duct hose on the delivery truck (I had to go to a hardware store and buy the duct hose). Additionally the delivery men failed to level the machines. After several calls to the company (most of which were not returned), the company sent the same delivery men to my home to level the appliances - which they did. However, they left without re-connecting the dryer duct hose. In summary, this is a family owned business that is glad to take your money but is sloppy when it comes to installation and certainly does NOT place importance on customer service after the sale.
Prompt and affordable service everytime. Thanks!
Repair men are friendly but absolutely clueless. Front office staff are rude and will do nothing but put you into voicemail if you have a problem. Thats been my experience.
We recently had some major repair work done by Mullet’s Appliances on our 14 year-old Sub Zero. It needed a new sealed system on the freezer side and new gaskets all around. I had four appliance repair firms in Sarasota give me quotes and Mullet’s Appliance was reasonable in price and all around friendliest and knowledgeable. We received a firm estimate that was kept to the penny and the work was performed as scheduled. We were served by their operations manager Jared and their technician Keith. Jared was very easy to deal with a Keith just a pleasure to have around. He worked very diligently and extremely clean on the job with a polite attitude that we very much appreciated. Needless to say that everything worked perfectly afterwards. We were happy and our food is cold again. Thank you and you are our #1 when it comes to appliances.
Visited on 042419 and walked around for 10 minutes. No one said hello or anything and walked by 4 employees and spent 30k on appliances and looking for a wine cooler for 4k. We went to another place and going to buy are sub zero appiances there. Hot mess and no wonder rhey are 3.5.🙄
Mullets are a great company to work with. Very helpful with choosing the right appliances that work with your lifestyle. They have been a great help on our new home.
The microwave part of my KitchenAid combo microwave/oven stopped working. The Mulletts repairman ordered a new part for the microwave (magnetron). While installing the part he used a a screwdriver to take out the connector to the control panel. He installed the magnetron and hooked up the control panel connector again, and low and behold the control panel now does not work. Now, Neither the microwave nor the oven work. I understand errors happen, but I assumed they would make it right. WRONG. They offered to sell me a new microwave/oven for full price; plus charged me for the service call and parts to break the control panel and oven. When they were told that was unacceptable we were told to talk to the service manager who stated that he had nothing to do with sales and we need to talk to the salesperson. Bottom line, READ ALL THE REVIEWS. This company is out to rip off consumers!UpdateSo NOW we realize that this company also LIES. Of course my husband did not say he would not let them take their part out. Read all the details about this incident on NEXTDOOR Lakewood Ranch web site and the Lakewood Ranch Country Club owners site.Update 2You came to fix my microwave unsuccessfully and broke my perfectly functioning oven while charging me for two service calls plus parts; and your “not sure what else we could do to make you happy.” I suggest you discuss this issue with the owners quickly!
Great response time! I would highly recommend.
Could not be more disappointed in this company, which we used for years. Bought appliances from them. Relied on them for service. Something has changed. Customer service now severely lacking. (Update: Mullets, the account is in my spouses name. And your response is another reason why I stand by my review.)
We redid our kitchen over the summer while away. Rob was happy to sell me $$$$ for kitchen redo: double ovens, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop in May; installed in Oct. Upon return to FL in Nov., one of the burners didnt work. I called and part was ordered. When the technician came to install, it was the wrong part! A new part ordered and installed and now works. Wouldnt you think upon inital installation it would be tested to be sure all burners working? Apparently not. Not once was there ownership of the error nor an apology. Talk about lack of customer service!! Listen to their voice message touting Customer Service is our priority...thats why weve been in business so long..... !! Im not feeling it......!
Promt, ontime, knows their business very professional
If your looking for service repair - Call someone else! We purchased our appliances at Mullets so you think you would receive good customer service. The first time we called it the first appointment was three weeks out! The second time we were given an appointment fairly quickly - but unreasonable with time constraints.
Great service! Really quick and efficient.
The customer service staff is very friendly and try to do whatever they can. The showroom is beautiful, and the sales team and the rest of the staff are very attentive and try their best.
Great all around. I would never go anywhere else.
The only place to go for exceptional service and sales
Stood behind their products when the manufacturer wouldn’t. Unheard of service these days.
The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I bought twenty five thousand dollars worth of appliances from these people. There problems with delivery and a lot of problems after they were put in.They DO Not stand behind their products refer you back to where they were manufactured. They do not care once they have your money!!!!!!!!!!!
The only place to get appliances. They have a service department for when your appliances breakdown.
When building my condo in 2008, I purchased all of my high end appliances from Mulletts. Most of the appliances worked well for the first year and we had no issue. Since 2010, Ive had to have them out every three months to look at broken appliances. Each time I call, the people that answer the phone are extremely rude and treat me like Ive inconvenienced them by calling. They then expect you to wait a week for the service call, wont commit to when they can come and refuse to try and help over the phone. Ive had them out to to fix my ice maker nearly a dozen times in the past 3 years, have spent an enormous amount of money with their company and would highly recommend that you avoid doing business with them. After a particularly bad experience with my washing machine a few months ago, where they expected me to live with a broken washer for over a week before they could come out and look at it, I decided to use a different local appliance company for the service call and will not be calling Mullets for future appliance purchases or service calls.
If you have problems contact their service manager to rectify the situation.
Mullet appliance was referred to us by John Cannon Homes. We purchased ALL of our appliances from them. in less than 21/2 years my dishwasher(kitchen Aid) stop working. upon contacting Mullet we set a service call. the technician came out and said it could be the drain pump, but the water was draining so made a inquiring to via phone to a service tech, I assume Kitchen Aid? They said it was the Control Panel. so Mullet sent out the tech again to change the panel. Still not working. made another call. Order Part, (Drain Pump). The Tech made another trip to my house to change the Drain Pump. The outcome...Charge for Drain Pump,(fair, since it wasnt on warranty) Charge for service Call(this was explained to me in the beginning, ok) Charge for Labor on replacing the Drain Pump(ok), and charged Labor on CONTROL PANEL, (not fair)which WASNT the underlining problem. I feel I should NOT be responsible to pay Labor on a part that was diagnosed wrong! in the first and second visit. After contacting Jared service Mgr.at Mullets, he argued the trips the tech took to your house needed to be charged. I feel in fact, the tech diagnose the problem the first visit and itwas correct I would not be obligated to pay addition Labor cost because of someone elses error!Very Disappointed.Update: I appreciated the call from Mullets appliance regarding this matter....Problem resolved!Thank you.(re-rated)
Outstanding service in the parts department and impressive displays on the floor. I had to drag my wife out before she bought a new kitchen.
They are all liars, don’t trust them. They go back on their word. Don’t buy here, don’t get service here. You had warning!
Great service...went well above and beyond
Our experience is NOT GOOD - I was charged 99 dollars for a visit that1. could have been solved on the phone2. the technician was here for a few short moments3. Is this the service that you receive when you have spent $36 thousandwith your company.4. Finally the attitude of the service agent on the phone leaves a lotto be desired - a little common courtesy would not go amiss!
Horrible customer service. Horrible company. Horrible tech and management. They lack integrity.
The only trusted Appliance dealership in Sarasota as far as Im concerned when it comes to dependable delivery, installation and service.
We took a warranty through Mullets rather than through the manufacturer which was a mistake. My washer abruptly stopped working and Mullets could not schedule a repair until 4 days later. I have never had to wait so long for repair services. Wont purchase from Mullets for our new home.
Their parts division acts arrogant and is not helpful at all
Service was perfect
Great helpful staff
Good selection.
Helpful, knowledgeable staff
Poor Service/Did not stand by their verbal promise to make it right.Rude service employees, I have had a business relation ship for at least 25years with Mullets but no longer.
Expensive
