I have been training with Professor Charles for 8 years now. Having trained in Martial arts for the last 20 years with many different instructors, I rank Professor at the top in multiple categories. From top notch instruction to interest in the growth of each student, professor Charles delivers. Leave the ego at the door. We have many different people training with us from the casual practitioner to hardcore competitors but we all respect and learn from each other. Come train with us and have fun!

Came to visit Sarasota from Philadelphia and stopped by Wolfpack today. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming. The instructor teaching class today was filling in for the owner, but he was also a black belt and was very knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful. Anyone in the Sarasota area looking to train Bjj should definitely check this place out!

For over a year now I have been training with some of the nicest and toughest people I have ever met. The best way to describe the environment is widespread benevolence, with everyone working towards the same goal: to be better than they were yesterday.I urge you to come and try a couple of classes no matter whether your goals are defense or fitness related. Professor Charles is an inspiring person and has cultivated a strong team of high ranking grapplers that are as welcoming as they are talented.

Brilliant class setup. Adult and kids class happen at the same time. You can sit in a chair and stare at your phone for an hour while your kid goes to class or you can participate. Its a great opportunity to model the type of behavior you want to see in your kid. Why dont more schools do this?

I am a black belt under Professor Charles Dos Anjos. You will not find better instruction in the art of Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu. Professor has been able to assemble a great team of men and women as his students which is more important in BJJ than in other disciplines because of the sparring that typically occurs at the end of every class. Classes are great for both men and women.

I have trained at Wolf-Pack and with Charles Dos Anos off and on since 2009. I moved away several times and was always welcomed back and I wanted to come back. Wolf-Pack is a great place to learn BJJ under a ultra good teacher who has learned from the best. The classes are not stacked with 50 plus students so there is way more analysis and feedback of your bjj then I have received at schools in the north (where their primary objective was to bring in as many white belts as possible). Charles teaches almost every class. There are numerous other students that have been training with him for YEARS that are brown and black belt and are always there so the training is always hard and you always can get input from them. The environment is always real inviting and comfortable. I highly recommend if you are interested in excelling at bjj in a great environment with an awesome instructor and nice people..Wolf-Pack is the place to go.

Great class with great people, they do not sell belts when you get it that means you really earn it.

About three months ago I did some research on various BJJ academies in the Sarasota, Fl area. Based on this research, I found a few that fit my initial criteria (class schedules, Instructors credentials, etc…). Once I had my list, I visited each academy to meet the instructor(s) and students in person. I initially thought that the instructor was the only important aspect of the school, however I found that the other students play a HUGE role in your success as well. The other students are the ones you end up rolling with, thus the people you are practicing the skills you have learned and honing your techniques. In the end I selected the WolfPack due to not only Charles (Professor) being an all around EXCELLENT teacher and good person (approachable, good sense of humor, and very ethical), but also to the fact that the other students were like-minded.Ive been attending WolfPack BJJ for a little over two months now and have learned more than I did from countless years of other Martial Arts training. The training I have received has completely changed the way I view self-defense and has actually already made me feel more confident in my abilities (due to other students being honest about techniques actually working or not when I apply them). Furthermore, I have met numerous new people that I now call good friends.Come check us out.

Sarasota have good BJJ schools. But without a doubt, Professor Charles dos Anjos is the best! He is the BJJ instructor with the most knowledge by far in Sarasota. He uses a lot of the Gracie fundamentals, having as his friend and his mentor Royce Gracie.Professor Charles ensures that everybody learns the basics and the foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There wasnt one single class that I did not learned something!Reco, purple belt 4 stripes, five years with wolfpack.

Ive been around good grapplers, not so good and great grapplers. Professor DosAnjos is the best Ive EVER seen, bar none! He is a professional BJJ instructor, capable of raising anyones game. His school is well organized, clean and full of good people. There are plenty of high level BJJ guys/girls there to help out and train with you. I am grateful to be a part of the team and learn from the many champions the Wolfpack Team has produced.
