I hate seeing people complain about issues with cancellation, since usually its a fight over their cancellation fee and timing. This is not the case with what I am going through. I dont mind paying the last month or a cancellation fee, but I am dissatisfied with the professionalism, organization, and integrity of this facility.General manager Josh was the one who took me on the tour of the facility, promised daycare would be opened by the end of the month. I was very adamant how important daycare is to me, since without it, I cannot achieve my fitness goals. I even had my 3 year old son with me at the time to also approve of the child center they had. I was assured this would be offered again shortly, repeatedly.I signed up for a year contract, and after seven months (with me calling several times over the months) I was told the facility would not reopen the daycare as promised. I understand things change, but this facility would not work for me without daycare. I asked for a cancellation, which Josh agreed to (which normally they wouldnt with a year contract) due to their broken promise and assured I would no longer be charged going forward. I did pay my regular monthly dues the same day I cancelled, plus a cancellation fee, which was fine. However, I was then charged again the following month for the regular monthly dues. I called back and spoke to Josh again, who said it was an error, and he would request a refund, but he couldnt promise anything, since his previous word to me held no authority with the actual company. I advised I would also dispute with my card company. My card company reviewed the account and charge, deemed it invalid, and then reversed the charge. I havent heard anything from them since and have considered the matter handled. Today, I received a letter stating a debt collector is attempting to collect $46.10 in their name. I am now submitting a letter of dispute for this, as well as filing a complaint with the BBB.It is absolutely unacceptable for a business to operate this way. I normally avoid writing bad reviews, but felt other potential customers should be made aware.
Canceled multiple times, charged me through covid...charged me for last year...incompetence is the only reason I can come up with. Horrible experience
This is quite possibly the best gym I have ever been to. The staff are so cool and friendly, you never have to wait for any machines, the gym is always spotless, and you get the best bang for your buck with the lime card membership. I mean 50% off drinks? What a deal! Now Im addicted to drinking protein, and youfit really is here for you.
I had been a member of the club for almost 5 years, couple months ago my wallet has been compromised I had to replace some credit cards, I forgot to update the club with my new credit card information instead of contacting me at my home residence via email postal mail or a phone call they simply turn my account over to collections. Such a simple thing That they could have called me or mailed me and I would’ve taken care of us but instead turn this over to a collection agency I know how to deal with their attorney.A horrible way to treat a customer five years I would’ve continue doing business with them but is now never going to do business with them
I workout here twice a week with a wonderful trainer. Very nice place and very clean.
Not bad- locations in many areas in the tampa bay region but wish they had 24 hour access. Also, everything Ive read in the reviews shows they have a serious issue continuing to take money out of your acct after cancellation.
The employees are welcoming and friendly. The gym is always clean. It’s the perfect size gym and it’s typically not too crowded so there is very rarely a wait for any machine. Has everything you need IMO.
Staff is very friendly and is always welcoming. Place is extremely clean...probably the cleanest gym I have ever been to and I have been to many. Has great equipment to get a solid lift in. I really value that the gym is trying to be “green” and hope to see more of that. I usually don’t like cardio machines but like the new ones at this gym. Also actually like the company colors just because it adds to the fun of it all.

I came into the gym as a guest of somebody and its a very nice gym everybody was super friendly. Jolene is the nicest person I have met recently, because ppl suck nowadays and it was a welcome change of pace to have a great encounter with another person

I absolutely love this Youfit location! It is so tidy, so warm and inviting, I just cannot say enough good things! The staff is ever so lovely especially the sweet young ladies who greet me at the front desk when I come in! The maintenance staff is so helpful and always go out of their way to talk to me! This is my home away from home!
Ive been a member since 2018. I dropped it when they shut their doors, but came back at the first invitation. I still cant find the spa, but Zumba is great fun! Just familiar?
I wish I could give negative stars! Everything was fine and dandy until covid hit and you need to cancel your account. I was told so many different lies, was issued nonexistent credits, was overcharged, and even charged for fees I was not told about, anyone working there should be ashamed of themselves. Im unemployed and am barely making it by and the charges even overdrafted my account. Dont trust them, they do not care, they lie, steal your money, and are just horrible. If you are unsure about the status of your account I suggest you call over and over again until you put yourself in the clear.
I had an appointment with Tyler I showed up at 530. And my appointment was at six so Tyler told me to warm up so I warming up and he never came to talk to me or to ask me if I was ready I was there for a half an hour till 630 and a in a as I walked out the door very bad business a home poor poor on very very unprofessional As I walked out he did not acknowledge me
I previously gave the gym a five-star review but due to management cutting back the hours of operation and now closing earlier, 4-stars... Also, bring back the exercise mats! Lol. I was told they were removed because of covid, but I dont understand how lying down on an exercise mat can be more of a sanitation issue compared to that of lying down on one of the many exercise benches which have not been removed... 🤔
Very well equipped gym with weights and machines for every purpose. Very reasonable fees. A winner for me.
How to start:Youfit can be described in one word. Excellence. Not only do you have all the amenities to pursue a successful work out, you are also graced by the wonderful, smiling faces of the cordial staff. The gymnasium is stocked with state of the art work out equipment and is constantly serviced and clean. The crowds are not thick, and this provides a comfortable exercising environment. Trainers are knowledgeable, and relatable. This is the place to come to achieve an excellent work out!
Facility is nasty. Machines stay out of use for weeks. Everything squeaks. Awful customer service. Constantly charged us the wrong rates and did little to correct it...including an increased rate in 2020 that was totally undisclosed.I was a member here for 3 years. I put up with a lot of it cause it was so close to my house and convenient, and rates were reasonable. But couldn’t justify it anymore with other gyms much nicer, way better equipped, with more professional staff charging less.
Like working out here. Lots of choices of equipment. You are left alone to work out, since everyone else is doing their own thing. Wish more classes had evening availability and were a bit more varied, but not bad for $23 a month. LOVE the hydro massage beds.
The staff is very polite, and it’s always clean. Definitely the best bang for your buck.
You Fit on Lockwood Ridge Rd.closed permantly this month and our memberships were transferred to Crunch. Were satisfied with this transfer. We received an email from You Fit that all membership fees and all unused personal training sessions would be refunded in 30 days. It is well past 30 days and no refunds yet. There is no one at customer service to speak with as when you try to contact them the call is forwarded to one of the clubs, who cant answer any of your questions. At this point we are owedowed over $ 200 with no way to collect.This is a very poor business model and it seems well have contact the BBB and file a formal complaint. Its 10$ a month plus some yearly fee. It is an ok gym, the only reason its 4 stars is because of the staff who are very nice and generous. Otherwise I would recommend going somewhere else to workout.

Just a bad place, I would put up with a lot since its cheap but when the equipment breaks it takes months to fix, the management is terrible and good luck trying to get anyone on the phone when, yes when ( because you will) you have a billing problem. You should pick another gym unless there is nothing else near you.
They don’t even deserve one star but I have no option to do zero, why? Is very simple because it is very hard to understand that when everything has been open after COVID-19 expect Youfit, they’re screw. Now everyone I know they have choose to go to another club.

My very first visit to a gym and I’m looking forward to returning frequently to this one! Love the friendly but low key vibe and the fact that it’s not brightly lit / neon etc. That would be bad in my opinion. Showers clean and great and love color coded machines since I’m new and clueless.
I like it. It’s well priced even when I don’t go I don’t feel guilty. They have enough machines to keep me busy and pretty much leave you alone. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen it crowded . All ages work out here. It’s not a pick up place it’s just a local gym with long hours and it’s clean.
Youfit has all the fitness equipment I need for my rehab. Glenda has been very helpful. The staff and facility are great! I enjoy going here on a daily basis.

I love this gym. The Tuttle location is my favorite location. I have the pass to go to multiple locations but Tuttle is my main location. The staff is always friendly, the facility is always clean. I recently started personal training and had to cancel due to travel for work through the summer. The GM Josh and the head personal trainer Tyler 100% worked with me without issue. Adam and Janalle are fantastic trainers! I will be back around October. And they have some great classes but I do hope they will be adding more to their schedule. I highly recommend YouFit for both beginners and advanced fitness people. I actually came back early and I now have a new trainer, Danny. He pushes me way past what I think are my limits!

My family and I have all been going to YouFit for around five years now, and weve all been working towards being more healthy and in shape because of it. Most recently, my wife and I enrolled in the Fitness Challenge, which weve both worked on every day to really help us stay active. The staff is all extremely friendly and personable, and weve gotten to know so many of them fairly well. Id definitely recommend this gym to any and everyone looking for a good workout.

Staff is friendly; facility is clean; I recently had a YouFit Coach come up to me while I was using a Cybex machine and told me how I could get a more intense workout by adjusting my position on the machine. What a difference it made. I was so pleased that he thought to offer his expertise to me.

So, very upset with You fit. When I signed up 2 years ago I read the fine print and I understood there would be a fee upon canceling. Well, when Covid closed them down we were told we would be charged even while closed so they could continue to pay their employees. Well, here it is months later and we still do not want to risk our health and go to the gym After months of paying and not feeling comfortable going back yet we decided to cancel our memberships. We did have every intention on joining again once Covid was a thing of the past. I am sorry to say that will not be happening. I was still charged a cancellation fee. I do not believe this is a fair practice as I believe With my health being at risk and wanting to limit my social interaction they should be waving the cancellation fee. Not to mention I am an Essential Worker I am also trying to protect others myself. This feels like a slap in the face. During these tough times we should have looking out for others and that just has not been the case. This is very bad business practices and this company will never see another cent from us.
I’ve had only positive experiences with the staff of YouFit. Everyone I’ve encountered has been energetic, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!

Clean, new machines, no instruction or smiles mostly, shower min hot water and accesible but no wall hooks to keep belongings off the floor and use to have more privacy but overall beautiful facility .
