BEWARE!!!!!! Once again this insurance has proven to be beyond professional or provide any service. After fighting with them when they INCORRECTLY had my drivers license suspended they have now sent me a non-renewal notice. Per this notice I have someone possibly living in my home I have not added to my insurance policy. I am a home owner and live ALONE, no kids, no family, and no additional persons in my home. Per the letter I am to call Amistad Insurance to discuss. This was the last chance for them with me, as i should have cancelled them when they suspended my drivers license. Last night I immediately started a new policy with Geico for 200$ cheaper while adding additional coverage, including the roadside assistance Amistead was supposed to provide and never did. I called Amistad this morning to cancel my policy effective immediately, upon speaking with the representative, who is supposed to be my insurance broker, I am yelled at, spoken over and provided excuses as to why they have nothing to do with all my issues with the insurance they have coordinated me with. As I work the escalations department for my company, I would be fired if I spoke to one of my callers in this manner. Of course they accept no responsibility for the insurance they have set me up with. This company is a scam company and I would be very careful with using them, as they are quick to take your money and have your license suspended incorrectly and decide they no longer want your business, but will wait until the policy runs out so they can keep your money.

I called to make changes to my policy, Adela at Amistad Insurance Sarasota assisted me, excellent treatment, little time making changes to my policy and a totally pleasant treatment, very satisfied and happy with the service, I have 9-10 yrs with Them 🤩

I was listed on my daughters policy as a driver. She no longer has the car and cancelled the policy. Amistad reported me to the DMV and had my license suspended.1. Not my policy2. Didnt report my daughter whose policy it was3. I have an active policy in my name for my vehicleI was also promised a call back from the manager, never happenedI guess you dont get what you pay for

So I purchased my car in may. The dealership I bought my car with set me up with Amistad. I had no issues until I look to see when my car insurance is due online. I see theres a notice for cancellation due to pictures of my vehicle not being sent in, when nobody informed me I had to send pictures of my vehicle to them. So that same day I take my vehicle down to them they take pictures of it I asked the insurance broker about the notice and she says to disregard it because now had the pictures. I had paid my policy two months in advance. I sign on to the website to see when my bill is due and it says that my insurance has been cancelled on the 1st even though im pre paid up another month. So this am I went to Amistad and they corrected the issue immediately and reinstated me. Marlin was extremely polite and understanding. My visit was the best Ive ever had with an insurance company and cheapest as well.
