I recommend approaching from the right lane of college ave traveling eastbound vs trying to make a left across college ave traveling westbound - location is on a busy stretch near the mendo intersection. The parking lot is a little small, but sufficient; you can also park on the street for a quick stop. I was impressed and would definitely use his services again.

This is the best and only place you should go for any watch work. Not only is he so knowledgable but friendly as well. I went o a franchise type shop to get a watch battery and they wanted $95 to fox it. Peter did it for 20 and fixed my leather strap for free. Absolutely come here and support a local business!

Ive been to this place twice to get batteries replaced in my watches and both times I had a great experience. The first time, I called the place up and asked if he could order a battery for a specific watch, and he said No need to order it, I have it right here. I asked Oh, can I drop the watch off today? Well sure, he said, But it will only take about five minutes. What, thats awesome! I said (obviously I know nothing about watches). But what about the cost? It turned out to be $5 - $10, another pleasant surprise.The store itself is an experience to visit, like a mini clock and watch museum. And Peter is the nicest guy youll meet. We chatted about movies while he put the new battery in my watch.

3 watch batteries were changed in October 2019.1 battery lasted 5 month.1 battery lasted 5 1/2 month.1 battery works on and off.Obviously, bad or expired batteries were used.

Dropped my pocket watch off in December 2015 for repair. I live out of state & said Id be back in a couple months. He said no problem, hed order the necessary parts and have it fixed when I returned. Came back in April 2016. It took him a long time to find my watch. He eventually found it, claiming that it was in the back of the safe. Gave me a story about his brother dying and he had to help with his estate so he didnt have time to get to it. Seemed more like he forgot. He said hed call me within a week with a formal estimate. A week came, still no call from him so I went in and told him to just give me my watch back so I could go somewhere else. He again told me his brother died, blah, blah, blah. He had the nerve to say he would waive his inspection fee. Seriously? Get real dude. Seems like a nice guy, just not much of a business man at all.

He is a great person who knows how to work his craft. The shop is cozy and full of delightful antiques and tasteful watches. I went to have my watch bracelet adjusted so I could give it to my dad and it was aa great experience.

One of the hands of my Movado came loose and was floating around inside of the crystal. Took it to Peter who fixed it in a couple of days. I couldnt believe how reasonable he was compared to what I would be charged by an official Movado repair shop in the City. Nice guy too.
