Great place to catch a bite to eat for lunch excellent quality and service and food

Great care is given here. Poor people receive meals prepared with care here.. and it’s about to disappear on October 30th, 2020. It’s sickening to me, but that is how pathetic even local bureaucrats are. Hannah, the operator, is 10/10 from what I’ve seen in my many hours volunteering. It’s an absolute CRIME COMMITTED TO THOSE IN NEED if this hall closes! Shame on everyone involved who pay lip service on council.. where have you been at 6am preparing meals on Wilson ST?

I was all excited to go and start volunteering at Saint Vincents. I work with homeless populations in another capacity. Walking in I see some people obviously, with mental health conditions, who don’t have masks- OK. I go into the chow hall and get directed to the supervisor - huge, young man just sitting there, sweating and dirty with no mask. He yells at me after I say I’m not gonna work with no masks in here . A closed medium sized room with people nit 6 ft apart! He actually yelled at me on my way out people can’t eat with a mask. I look at him and say back you’re not eating. This is the example were giving to people who need help that it’s OK to not wear a mask? God help them please!!!

I love this place because they help lots of people.I have been here personality, as a volunteer, and it is one of my best experience I have had in a work place, It is incredible.The feelings you get while working in here and you know that someone is going to appreciate it with a Big Thanks.Big Thank You To Everyone Who Had Helped This Place In Its Way To Blessing Our Community.

The volunteers are very nice.

Great place to donate your time and energy for some people that can really use your help. A warm smile and a kind word really can change a persons day.

New staff food has got better water. Might have problems like to much florid is bed for human body but the food is great thanks

A great organization that has been helping people unconditionally for decades.

Worst of the worst in terms of its services compared to the majority of St. VIncent Dr Paul Society nationwide..At this woefully mismanaged site this food kitchens volunteers are on the take meaning the majority or lions share of all food donations are not distributed to the homeless like what is supposed to happen but instead they distribute the donated goods to themselves and never giving to the homeless when they would rather help themselves..so sad..so pathetic. This kind of crap needs to charge sooner rather later..this is wht Im writing this truth. On April 18th I volluntered to offer my expertise in fundraising and marketing to open more new doors and new distribution partners to expand on the zero food sources the homeless not its staff can takeThen there is the god awful food this kitchen serves is as close to prison food as it gets..The food here is atrocious Is putting it mildly ..we need to fired the bum running this place to the ground and we need to give the homeless community the nutritious food thats not whats on the menu here ..see picture
