They did a very nice job cleaning our vacuum and changing the Hepa filter. Judy and Heidi were both very helpful.

Meissner is the absolute best. Sharron is increasingly helpful. They do everything they can to go the extra mile. Everyone in there is super sweet, Ive exhanged my number with multiple customers while shopping (so we could share our expertise and have someone to call when you needed a little extra help). I took my sewing machine in for a maintenance. It squeaked. I’d had it for a couple years and I thought it should be maintained.They had it for three weeks. It cost roughly $150. When I got it back it still squeaked. I took it to Village Sewing Center. They said it was full of lint and needed oil. Messi er did nothing to clean up my machine. At Village Sewing Center, the cost was very little (in comparison), people were friendly, and I got my machine back in four days.Don’t take your machine to Messiner! Plus, they aren’t very friendly.And the half bobbins they sold me don’t fit my machine.Erg!!

I wanted to drop off my Brother machine for repair. Without looking at it the saleswoman said it would cost more to repair then it is worth and just wanted to sell me a new machine. While my machine is a beginner machine it is listed as one of the best for beginner quilters by an independent review board, is nearly new and retails for $450 on Amazon. I am happy to spend $150 on a repair if that is what it takes. Taking to another repair shop now.

Amazing and very enjoyable experience! We stopped to just look at the sewing machines. Pams explanations and demonstrations of the comparable machines was so educational. Her personal care gave me the confidence and excitement to believe I could finally begin sewing again after my long illness. My husband bought me a beautiful machine for Mothers Day. I just love the family running the store. They are all so very helpful. Pam is very talented and it is a joy to watch her videos. The only down side for me is that I live in Marin and cant get into the store often enough. All of the sales staff are also very knowledgeable and ready to help you out. The class teachers I have had are patient and considerate. I hope to be doing business for a long time with this store. Maybe I will have to move to Santa Rosa. LOL

I have been to this shop for many purchases and advice. The employeesare absolutely great! They are always helpful, with great ideas for myprojects. I have bought two sewing machines here and traded an olderone. I have taken a couple of sewing classes and sometimes just callwith questions. Every contact is consistently excellent. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Ive shopped for sewing machines elsewhere, and been ignored, snarled at, or otherwise made to feel like my money isnt worth the same as somebody elses. But Pam read me as a Maker of Things Cloth, and led me to the exact machine I wanted. I hadnt even realized that that particular model was it, but only because I had inadequate information going in. She showed me the models I thought I wanted (via online research), and helped me compare-contrast -- realistically, not just from an I want to upsell you position. I respect that.

Our upholstery business, Masters Touch Upholstery, in SR has been doing business with Meissner in Sacto area for around 30 years. And when my perfectly good, well used Bernina, quilters model, came up with a short in a computer board, I looked you up. My husband discovered you are in SR now, so we took it to your service dept. We got a diagnosis, plan of treatment, and a procedure was performed and it was discharged for pick up in less than two weeks!!! (You can tell what field I work in!) Thank you, Meissner! I was happy to pay for the costs and got it back as good as ever! Was gonna be a shame to put it out to pasture, and have to come up with $3000 to replace it. Again, Thank you, Meissner!!!

SHYSTERS!!! DONT GO THERE!!! I took the sewing machine in that I bought there a couple of years before, and he talked me into getting the new model that had automatic bobbin winding and needler threading. When I couldnt figure out how to do it, I took it in for instructions and the son saidOh I just do it by hand. Its easier He proceeded to thread the needle and wind the bobbin by hand.So why in hell did I pay a hell of a lot of money when I could thread my older one by hand myself?

Dont buy a vacuum from The Big Box store or Costco get it here where they can help you when your belt breaks or you need service. We bought a Riccar vacuum and its awesome.

Staff is always so helpful and they have beautiful fabric.

I am in the uniform business and use the babylock machine purchased here to do name tapes. At our busiest time this year the machine starting to have a problem. We called and Louie said bring it in an we will take a look at it. While I waited Louie looked at the machine and found some tangled thread which was causing the malfunction. In less than 15 minutes I was on my way back to serving my customers.
