Awesome local music shop. I messed up the volume knob on my Stratocaster. Brought it to Stanroy and he fixed the knob right there on the spot and only asked for a handshake as payment. Very rare generosity nowadays. Will definitely return for any instrument needs

I love Stanton music! Great people, super helpful. They have most of what I need and if not theyll get it. All kinds of great music teachers work here in the studio section as well.

I needed a hardcase for my electric guitar. I forgot my mask they had one so no need to go back to the car. I told them what was needed they helped instantly. The place is super clean too. I wish this store was in Petaluma. Petaluma needs a music store. Thank you Stanroy!

Great customer service

My son’s euphonium had been dropped and the bell was bent. I don’t live in Santa Rosa and was expecting to have to make a second trip to pick it up, but when they found out I was from out of town they offered to fix it that day. Two hours later I returned to a beautiful repair and a less costly than anticipated bill! Thank you!

Lots of independent musicians offering lessons out of here, my daughter takes singing lessons here. Plus they have an electronic drum set that they dont mind you playing so I can toodle around on the drums while waiting for her lesson to finish. Just a nice, chill, local place for lessons, instruments, and more.

No trombone covers but promise to get those in

What a well stocked, attractive store! They seem to specialize in ukuleles and guitars, but have lots of other new and used instruments, sheet music, and accessories. I bought a very cool looking strap, and had a strap peg installed on my ukulele and they did it in about 5 minutes and the work was done for just the reasonable cost of the peg and strap. Service was knowledgeable and very friendly. They also have rooms for lessons and a repair shop right in front. Highly recommended!

I would like to amend my review of Stanroy Music from 2 years ago. I walked in there on a rainy day and my expectations were very high and my subsequent review was too harsh. Today I was there and thanks to their excellent help I’m starting to teach guitar with the two instructional books I bought there. Great job both providing musical instruments to the community but also teaching music. You are an asset to the community and just know you have earned back my business.

An amazing place. All the people there are really nice and are great to talk to as a musician. Their repair shop is also really good, I got my bass trombone fixed and got it back within 24 hours. Its an amazing place just to even have a conversation or just to look at all the things they have there. They will have almost anything you need there(unless you need a bass trombone lyre lol)

I went in Stanroy music center yesterday to buy my first guitar and had a wonderful experience.I knew nothing about guitars Ron the sales man was very friendly and took lots of time to explain the differences in guitars and answered all my questions even when i asked them more then once and I had a lot of them of them.I also like how they continue to offer help after your purchase and the prices are great also, I highly recommend Stanroy music center for all of instrument needs

Stanroy has a great selection of musical instruments for a far price and their staff is very friendly and very helpful. You can get your instruments tuned and fixed, weather you have a wind instrument or a string instrument. And they have a variety of musical instructors, from drums to singing lessons. Cool place!

Ive been coming here for years and have seen it this store in 2 different locations before it came to its final spot at its current address. The staff is knowledgeable, excited, and helpful. Also, its actually a music store, not just a guitar shop. Woodwind and brass players rejoice!

I went to by my first guitar on December of 2015 and had a wonderful experience. One guy helped me find the perfect electric guitar which was an Austin Strat model. He also helped me the perfect practice amp for the guitar. The service was great and incredible. Im so glad I decided to go here.

Was on a walk and stumbled into this music store, great place! Not a massive store but still had great selection, I plan on going back to get a guitar soon.

I went to there store in order to see if they could repair my guitar for me ( i needed to lower my action and my neck had a bend in it). Their technician immediately fixed it while I was at the store for NO CHARGE. for reference Bananas at Large a competing music store wanted to ship it off to their technician something that would take a couple of weeks When your in the shop you get the feeling that everyone their really knows music and has been playing it all their life.

One of my favorite music stores in Santa Rosa. All of the staff there are super knowledgeable, friendly, and their guitar selection rivals that of 🍌 @ Large.

I was pretty amazed by the amount of instruments that were in the store, it was pretty cool. I walked in, only greeted by a man behind the counter, facing towards the wall, raised his hand with a half-attempt Hey. I was there to pick up some tenor sticks for marching band, so I walked over to the stick rack. There was almost no marching percussion sticks, but a really good variety of other sticks. I found some tenor sticks, poorly packaged and plastic with some cuts and tears. There were only 3 pairs, so I picked one up to see the price... Sad, I must say at the least. I spent $30 on ONE pair of Promark TS8s. I didnt want to buy it, but I had no choice. Probably wont be buying from there anymore, Im better off getting 4 pairs of TS8s on Amazon for $30 !!!

Took my vinyage 70’s modified stratocaster to be flipped from a righty to a lefty and they didnt even flip the nut they just used some glue to raise the strings to make them fit. Seemed like they didnt care about doing a good job or doing the job right just to get it done as fast as possible and collect there money. Dissapointed because i always try to help local business over corporate monsters like bananas but even at bananas i feel like the staff is more attentive. If your a high class snob this might be your perfect fit.
