👍
Great drinks and an even better Prime Rib Buffet! I had no idea this place existed... It has all the ambiance of an upscale country club, including incredible service... Especially considering its a buffet. They have a limited menu...but why bother when you can eat everything at the buffet! Thanks to my tax guru Rob for picking the best place for a client meeting.
Top notch private golf club. Exceptional service. Beautiful course. Well maintained. Extremely challenging. Facilities are renovated recently, and absolutely gorgeous. Premier private golf club that rivals any other in Sonoma county
This is a very nice place
I dont play golf but I have been to many business mixers and parties here. First, the clubhouse had a major overhaul a few years ago and it really is lovely and has well-maintained stylish meeting and ballrooms. Secondly, the catering staff has their act together. I friend of mine had her 10th business anniversary bash there and nothing but great things to say about the preplanning and day of service.
Golf course is very, very forgiving...and in great shape. We hung out in the lounge for a couple hours chatting after our round in comfort and well served. If I lived in Sonoma County, we would join!
Nice traditional course. We were scheduled to play after the Santa Rosa fire and they understood that we did not wish to play in the smokey conditions and rescheduled us a couple of weeks later.
This is a nice club with a solid golf course. The dining options are average at best. They have a nice bar, that is fully remodeled and a balcony that overlooks the course. Service is average to below average for similar places. It is a good place to play and visit but winter hits this club hard and rain renders it all but pointless. When the weather is good its well worth the monthly fees. But thats an average of 7 -8 months a year from my limited experience.
Great dinner great service great opening
Nice event space. North Coast Builders Exchange has had their annual dinner meeting there for several years and the Club puts on a very nice event.
Fun golf club with a super yummy Easter brunch and egg hunt for the kids.
Even if you dont like golf, the food is phenomenal! Full bar too! It is out there in the cuts of Santa Rosa, but it has transformed into a beautiful little oasis.
Beautiful grounds, came here to network in BNI groups. I love the building, great conference room
Wonderful shop staff
From parking lot to toilet this place is clean and presentable
We attended a wedding here and it was nothing less than amazing...great place for a wedding!
This place seems to have taken a real tumble in service since they changed ownership. The last two times I have been here, separated by a couple weeks, at least one person in the party had their order get lost. Server said it was the computerized order system that lost the order, but Im not sure that that should matter.I asked the bartender about the beers they had on tap and they couldnt tell me about their beers. Their excuse was that they were newly hired. Again, not sure that that should matter. If you are already a member, I guess youre stuck. If you arent a member, then the golf and social opportunities are what might make you want to join. But the restaurant seems to have really declined.
A venue for only the best of occasions!....a sweeping grand staircase for photo ops!
Just another golf course. 1000 a month membership! 😝
Nice clubhouse. Golf only good 4 months of year...too wet
Family has been members here for a few generations. I only visit california once every year or two but I always go here while Im there and Ive seen it grow and change over the years. I really like what theyve done and my most recent visit I met the new manager who couldnt have been more friendly and enthusiastic about the Club
Nice facility. Course is long and good for duffer at the same time.
Beautiful and quiet course with some challenging holes. The restaurant in the clubhouse is a good choice for lunch and dinner
Enjoy it while its there.
Very nice facilities, newly remodeled. Great bar.
Nice course, decent amenities. Good people.
This is a great neighborhood to live in and The Santa Rosa Golf and County Club is a fantastic country club facility. The 6,712 yard golf course is fairly level, challenging and well designed. The club was established in 1916 near St. Francis road on the east side of Santa Rosa and relocated here on the 128 acre site in 1957. The clubhouse itself was built new from the ground up in 2001.You do not need to belong to the “Club” to live in the neighborhood, in fact only approximately 20% of the current homeowners do. The neighborhood is bordered by Willowside road on the west side. It was developed as “Willowside Estates” in the early 1960s. The homes are mostly of the single level, “Ranch” style on one third to half acre lots. Many have been renovated and updated over the years but occasionally you will find one that is “untouched”.The public elementary and middle schools are part of the highly regarded “Oak Grove” school district. An alternative is the Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm a quarter mile north on Willowside Road.
Had a great relaxing time
Worse. Dirtiest Place I have seenIn awhile
Great venue, food and golf. A little bit off the road
It’s beautiful, food top quality!
What a beautiful course, PGA style!
Everything a private club should be!
Kind of a wet course and in this particular day, the Sonoma Aroma was gagging... Not open for breakfast during the week ☹️
