Dana did not report sexual abuse concerns that the Sonoma Count Mediator and myself had for my daughter. She instead listened to all of the fears and concerns of my daughters mother has had toward me for the last 7 years and treated my 8 year old daughter as a consenting adult who can make choices about appropriate boundaries. Now she wants me to sign a release so I can see my daughter again. I dont know why this lady is still in business and not in jail.

My ex wife and I saw Dana for many years for our coparenting counselor. Overall I thought that we had a really good working relationship. One of my last visits I had misunderstood the appointment time and thought it was at 1:30pm and it was actually at 1pm. When I walked in around 20 minutes late, Dana had already started the appointment without me. Figuring they were just making small talk I wasnt upset at all. Dana filled me in on what she understood from the situation we were there to address based solely on the information from my ex wife. When I said that I didnt think it was fair that she only heard one side of the story she told me that I shot myself in the foot by being late. She was extremely rude and made the appointment so uncomfortable my ex started to cry. Dana ended up apologizing to me and we went back to her one more time. I had let everything go and had assumed Dana was professional and had also. After that appointment my ex wrote an email explaining she no longer wanted to see Dana anymore. We went back and forth in the email with Dana CCd on all of them. Dana never offered any help, advice, or alternative to help us navigate the situation. She did reply to confirm we were canceling our appointment, and again later to state that she was resigning as our coparent counselor. With how many thousands of dollars weve paid her over the years I expected far more from her.
