A true computer store in the tradition of the craft. Staffed by knowledgeable and experienced hardware folks. Chock full of rare parts, adapters, cables, and components for your system or network. A nice stable of used bargain monitors and peripherals. This is a computer store for computer people. Unlike the commission-driven big box stores, these guys really understand whats in the box, and they will sell you what you actually need, and support your purchase. Build yourself a basic business rig or a face melting game system from mobo to mouse.

I came hoping to upgrade my cpu, but they say they dont have any in stock that would work with my mother board since its its a 9th gen, i understand and they gave me a dust off for my cpu since it was really dusty. That was 6 dollars and im ok with that. But what makes me fustrated is the fact that when i come home after words my pc just doesnt work! It doesnt power on and now i came back discussing the issue, now they are charging me $80 to fix this issue when before it was conpletly fine before. I feel like they did something when they first dust it off when they send my pc to the back for a bit, now i am being charged 80 for a fix, not only that but i have to wait 2-3 days cuz of line. I feel like i just got scammed, i was better off not getting what ever they did to my pc.

They completely reworked my PC and went above and beyond.

If youve had computer problems or simply want to ask questions and get actual answers about performance and features skip the box store and go here. These people know computers. Also a great selection of used computer parts to pick thru at great prices for your hobby and diy needs. Great place to get something tinker with for a science fair or build home custom hardware.

Really competent practical advice and work on my computer. I love that they recycle old cables and parts when possible. Weve used Santa Rosa computers for years and taken our own electronics there for recycling. weve bought things from them and theyve serviced our computers for both our businesses. This time I thought I had a significant problem but they turned out to find a very basic and simple problem and solved it quickly. Im really grateful to have these guys in town.

Couldnt say more great things about this place. came in and immediately felt listened to when i was describing what was wrong with my computer. he even read everything back to me to make sure he had it right. only took them two days to fix the problem, and they called me twice to let me know how everything was going. ended up paying $80 for the diagnostic fee, and then 1 hour of labor to put in a new solid state drive without me even having to tell them. its like i have a brand new computer. id recommend to a friend in a heartbeat.

Its best to go here if you have an older computer or already know what you need. The place is dusty and a lot of things are just kind of laid out like a flea market and most things havent been updated in at least 10 years. They do however have a good variety of products and a nice staff.

These guys are great! They build all my custom PCs for my clients surveillance command stations and recording studios. They broke my computer, then said it worked just fine. I checked it and it came in with 16gb of ram and I ended up with 8gb. Don’t buy from them they will put in worse parts

Chris @ Santa Rosa Computers fixed a technical issue that I have had for over a year. 3 other companies I hired over the last year could not figure it out, charged me a fortune and were older companies with Consultants that were not up to the latest technology applications and solutions. Chris and SRC are sharp and efficient and will not waste your time on old school solutions that dont work. I highly recommend Santa Rosa Computers. They are my companys new go to for all of my IT needs!

Did not test my components as they charged me for! Wrong diagnoses leads to weeks of down time and $$$$ lost. Brought my PC in for diagnosis. Payed $80 for a Diagnostic They said my Motherboard, CPU and graphics cards were all Dead. Well, it turns out the graphics card and CPU were FINE! It was just the Motherboard. Sent the CPU and graphics card to Intel and Asus, they sent both items back says they were FULLY FUNCTIONING, SO they charged to me for shipping both ways. Santa Rosa Computers did not test my components as they charged me then LIED to me about it! Its a graphics card, You pull it out and put it in any computer and if it turns on it works. They didnt even do that. Go here if you want to waste time and money.

I called Santa Rosa Computer today to ask if they had any ATX power supply testers for sale. They didnt, but they did offer to test a power supply for me if I brought it in. So I did, and as it turns out said power supply was toast. I got to talking to Chris and Chris about the system I was going to put a replacement in, and when I outlined the specifications they offered advice on appropriate power supplies, even going so far as to look up the video card I was using to check its power draw. As it turns out, the power supply I was thinking of buying as a replacement wasnt up to the task. I wound up walking out with a 620W power supply instead of a 430W, as well as a wonderful first impression and two business cards.If you need anything computer-hardware-related and you live in the area, by all means, go to Santa Rosa Computer before you check online. The customer service is well worth the travel time, and their parts selection is quite impressive for a brick and mortar store in this day and age.

Might check this place out sometime next year when i have money to buy something because i want to build a 700 to 1000$ system in the future and im thinking of buying each component at a time so i dont waste money on other things
