Picked up a screw in one of my run-flat tires on my BMW 540xi last evening; was able to make an appt online for 7:40 this morning, significantly reducing the hassle factor for my day. They patched it within an hour, washed my car and gave me a terrific price - and I am not even from Santa Rosa (Milwaukee, WI). Liz was absolutely terrific!
Through an online search, I found a certified used BMW that I wanted located at Hansel BMW in Santa Rosa. I made the drive up on a weekday to see the car myself. After the visit, we negotiated a price through email and came to an agreement on price. At the beginning, this was not my preferred dealership to go to because of the distance from San Francisco. Theres literally 5 other dealerships I couldve driven thats closer to SF. But they had the car I liked and my wife and I wanted to upgrade to a larger car since we just gave birth to our newborn. So with our 5 weeks old newborn in tow, we headed out from San Francisco to Santa Rosa again to meet with Dan McDonnell (our online salesperson) to see the car again. As new parents we were worried about the 80 minute drive up. But once we got there, Dan and his fellow team of co-workers were super inviting and considerate of our needs. Dan provided my wife with access to the lactation room. He also offered some food and drinks during our buying process. On top of that, I ended up purchasing the vehicle that I wanted at a fair price. The team here at Hansel BMW really goes above and beyond and has far exceeded my expectation of any dealership experience. Id consider them again for my next vehicle purchase.
My experience with this dealership was outstanding. Purchased my slightly used 2020 Honda Civic Type R from them. The individual (Dan McDonnell) I worked with primarily was amazing and went above and beyond for me. I did everything virtually because I was still physically in Hawaii, but he made it so easy for me. Definitely one of my best car buying experiences despite being across the ocean thousands of miles away. I had lots of questions and demands, but he never once complained. Instead he always took the time to call, text, or e-mail me. I loved the videos he would send me of the car. He is a true professional and takes great pride in his job. I recommend this dealership to anyone and I definitely recommend working with Mr. McDonnell. Kia also did an outstanding job and helped facilitate getting the 2nd key that the previous owner forgot to bring during trade in. He sent a driver 2 hours to pick it up for me. This dealership is amazing and really goes above and beyond. You won’t be disappointed. I wish all car buying experiences were just like this and as easy.
Total scam! Once they get your email they will never leave you alone. Cant even unsubcribe from email. Ive literally called in twice to be removed from their emails and they still wont stop emailing me.
Total scam of a service department!!!Had called several days ahead to verify that our X5 was under an extended warranty program which the lady on the phone said it was covered so made an appointment for warranty repairs and was also prepared to pay the diag fee if the issue ended up not being under warranty...Get to the dealer this morning and spoke with the service advisor only to find out the vehicle is 6 months outside of the extended warranty. Yes its a 10 year old X5 but when i call the dealer and give them the vin and ask if the warranty still applies and they say yes then i expect it to be that way.Either i was lied to by the initial phone call to get me into the dealer or their service department is just incredibly incompetent that they cant run a simple vin check to verify warranty..Needless to say STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
I used to take my car here to get serviced. The last time my car was serviced was according to Hansel BMW was 6 months ago. This week, my coolant light turns on. My friend checks it, we see it is bone dry. We filled up the coolant tank and I got it checked out by another BMW service in case there was a leak and there wasnt. I am 100% sure someone forgot to refill my coolant tank last service or maybe previous times before due to the fact it was empty. Because of this I will no longer go to Hansel for services. Dangerous, and imagine what other things they forget to do during your service.
Always Friendly Treating Every Customer Like There First Priority Making The Do The Best They Can To Get The Job Done
Five stars to Hansel BMW Service Department....Im the 3rd owner for a 2013 328i convertible (105k miles). Two months ago, I had an oil service done at a local (non-dealer) shop 2 months ago. As part of their free multi-point inspection, they found that I have a radiator leak, quoted $1000+ to replace radiator. On researching BMW forums, I was advised to check if it is covered under 150k mls/15y warranty. I setup an appointment & brought it to Hansel BMW. Greg (service advisor) confirmed my understanding was correct. After inspection, they replaced the radiator.Cost to me: ZERO. All done in ONE day. This is true frictionless experience.
I would give them minus 10 if I could. Bought a certified pre owned 740I. low milage. Came with warranty until March 2022 or 100,000 miles. Had it serviced at A BMW shop and they found leak in coolant tank. They called dealer were I bought the car. They informed them that it was covered by warranty at a BMW dealer. I took the car to Hansel, after 15 minutes of them trying to get out of it and not knowing what a coolant tank even is I walked out and payed for it at the BMW shop were they no what they are doing. At Hansel they even asked if it was an oil leak. This is after I explained what a coolant tank is.
Him: When we decided to buy a new car, we went to a few dealerships. Each one had something off-putting about them. Often, when I ask a salesperson to talk to my wife about the car, they tend to come back to me instead. Not a good look.We ended up visiting a year or so prior when we first thought about trading our car in but went on a cross-country trek instead. We came back in February to look at the X7 and worked with Faris again.Long story short: the one we wanted didn’t exist so we built one, optioned it how we wanted, ran the credit and threw a deposit down and hoped for the best because we were in the middle of selling our house.Faris texted me every so often with updates and status about our new vehicle. As we approached the end of March, our house has sold and hotels were booked across the country but our car had not yet arrived (fortunately it was built in the states).Faris and the management team worked to get the vehicle from port in Richmond, CA to the dealership a day before we have our keys to the buyer of the home and had to leave. Because of their diligence, we were able to get everything done just in time and are already halfway across the country in our new X7.Very satisfied with this dealership and would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new car. Faris did a great job ensuring all parties felt included and accommodated. :)
I couldnt ask for more from a dealer. All through the purchase they were a professional, friendly, and genuine group. The price was very fair but more importantly, the whole process was by far the best dealer experience Ive ever had: fast, efficient, high quality, thorough, relaxed.Ive never had such trust in a dealer.BTW, I travelled from Marin County to purchase from Hansel.
Flew in from SoCal to buy a CLS400. Faris was great and gave impeccable service. From picking me up from the airport to getting the car detailed and gassed up for me. He made sure I was happy and set. Everything was quick and smooth. Great team here to work with. Thank you so much!
I rarely do reviews and never do I do them right after I have purchased or been somewhere, but I have to share the experience I had at Hansel BMW.FANTASTIC! First of all, we are in a pandemic, so the absolute last thing I wanted to do was get a new car, but my lease was up. I started chatting with Vanessa over text and email just to get some kind of idea or whats available. Everything was discussed either text, phone or email. Best way to buy a car! Then I went in to meet Vanessa, Kelly and Ken (Finance Manager) and they were amazing! Made the experience of buying a car (with masks on and social distancing) fun! I cant say Ive ever had a better time buying a car.Ken is fantastic, recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone with integrity, and wants to do whats best FOR YOU as opposed to the bottom line. This is my 2nd car with Hansel BMW. I cannot thank the team enough for everything during such a crazy time.THANK YOU HANSEL BMW!
Had an amazing experience at SR BMW today! Dan was wonderful work with as well as everyone else we encountered. Wasn’t sure what we were looking for but glad we chose this dealership to stop at. Got an amazing deal and great service. I highly recommend.
I bought a certified pre-owned 440 BMW & love it. The service department is great, the transactions are smooth with good customer service. I would give 5 stars if the prices were a bit more competitive. Otherwise, its great overall.
I had an appointment today for service which I made almost 25 days ago and requested for the courtesy car! Thats why I waited this long. Some one called me in morning and said they dont have a courtesy car available and next appointment available is going to be on mid August! She even said we are not obligated to provide a courtesy car!! Its ridiculous and just wasting my time. I called other BMW they set up a service appointment as soon as Saturday with the courtesy car available.
After moving to Petaluma from Seattle in 2019, we needed to find a new dealership to service our BMW. We have now been to Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa twice, and it has been a fantastic experience both times! Liz has been the best service advisor, and they have taken excellent care of us and our vehicle. Happy to have found Hansel BMW!
I received a safety recalls from BMW and took mine in for inspection and repairs, Hansel was the dealer closest to me. There on line scheduling for a service appointment was awesome, they got me in right away. The morning I arrived I was greeted outside of the service department and introduced to a service writer, all of these men were courteous, genuinely friendly and got me a ride back to my place of employment asap. Throughout the day they kept in contact with me about my car, text me when it was ready and even washed it before I arrived. I had a great experience at Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa.
Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa is the new name for Prestige Imports. They not only have a new name, they have a beautiful new building, new staff and a whole new customer first attitude. My salesman Kelly is a good example of this. He is knowledgeable and very customer focused. He has taken the time to learn his product and made sure that I was aware of all of my options. This allowed me to pick out my perfect car. The i3 is a new model so I had a couple of problems getting familiar with it. Kellys co-worker Kai (the in house BMW Genius) assisted me and made sure I was comfortable with the new car and all of the new technology. Scott the service manager was quick to jump in when I had a service question as well. There are a lot of old reviews here that reflect the old stores staff. This new crew deserves a fresh start. Give them a chance to treat you as well as they treated me. You will not be disappointed.
Liz in service gets 5 stars. She went above and beyond to get my X5 back on the road.I definitely recommend this dealership.👍👍
Either through fraud or incompetence, they charged me a over $200 unnecessarily.I had an airbag recall and BMW kept contacting me to get it done.I decided while Im getting it done Im going to get new oil, spark plugs and brake fluid. I also needed a computer reset because I changed the battery recently. Those four things end up costing me $1,300. Matthew Quinn was the one whodrafted the invoice, and explained to me the charges before dropping off and while picking up my vehicle. The reason why the price was so high for a partial tune up, is because Matthew charged me for the airbag replacement under recall.I didnt realize this while going through the invoice with him.I guess its partially my fault for trusting that there would be no fraud or incompetence involved with such a simple procedure.2 days later, I wondered exactly what the breakdown of the billing was and decided to look at the invoice and found I was charged incorrectly. After going through the steps we took, I find it highly dubious that this was done as a mistake.I called and they immediately admitted to to their mistake and supposedly credited my credit card.So there is no ongoing issue with them other than me being very suspicious with them.I personally would drive to San Rafael or Peter Pan BMW for service or purchasing a new car from now on.Which is a shame because they gave me a loaner car, an X3, that I fell in love with and want to purchase. So again, I think these people are either incompetent or sneakily fraudulent.Either way, keep your guard up or go somewhere else.
Stealership!Beware! My parents M3 has been parked at my place in Santa Rosa for the past two months and I noticed radiator fluid under it. This car has always been serviced at Stevens Creek BMW (where they live). I called to see if they could make an appointment to get it looked at. They quoted $195 diagnostic check. I asked if it only took 10 minutes would they credit the extra fee towards fixing the car. Answer: No. Thats our fee. Wow! you guys lost a customer and I will have to rethink using: Hansel Mazda, Hansel Ford, Hansel Subaru and Hansel Honda. All places I have used. Im tired of all the listed dealerships over charging for service and the way they have everything from booking an appointment to being able to talk to a service adviser. Its just so unpersonable.
I called two weeks ago about whether a BMW seat would suit my aching back. The salesman said come in an try one. I sat in the 3 series, went for a 20 minute drive and bought it. On the way home, I realized the seat was killing my back. I called, but Hansel would not undo the deal or help in any way except fool with the seat. Hansel is good at selling cars--just (from my experience) not good at creating happy customers.
I recently purchased a new car from Hansel BMW and it was an excellent experience all the way down to the financing guy, Mike. I was looking for a previously owned vehicle. However, I wanted specific options so I decided on a new one. Dan was my client advisor and he was excellent from day one. He worked diligently to find me the right car. He was very personable and courteous. In fact, everyone I encountered at the dealership was courteous and never was there any pressure. I also want to say how great Kai, their product specialist, was. He came to our house as I wasnt able to drive at the time and went over all of the technology options in my car. He explained everything in detail. Dan and Kai make a great team! I want to thank both of them for making my car purchase such a positive and easy experience.
Very professional & competent! Excellent Service! Helpful friendly staff! Comfortable wait room for Service Department! Supportive informative Staff! Helpful Parts & Service Staffs! Recommended!
Your BMW genius, Kai Fuller, is the difference that makes it possible for me to use and enjoy the amazing technology within my BMW 328i. I recently wanted further help to use my navigation system and I wanted it while waiting for my annual BMW service to be performed. The ever flexible Kai stepped in and delivered: Mission Accomplished.
I recently gave my BMW for servicing here. Mike Allen took excellent care of my car, he took care of all pending recalls and repairs & the pricing here is very reasonable - Mike did not over charge at all. When I found the problem I had to tow the vehicle during off hours and drop the keys in the drop box. Next Day I called shop - And explained all the issues with car to Mike over phone. He patiently listened all the issues and concerns and addressed them. I would definitely recommend people to take their BMW if you are near 30-50 mile radius of Santa Rosa.
I leased my BMW 5 series from Kelly Kimberley and will only work with Kelly. As my first meeting with him was one of the absolute best car purchasing experiences Ive ever had to date. Kelly found me the vehicle I was interested in, worked the numbers, had the car ready for me when I arrived to drive it and was in and out of the dealership in less than 90 minutes.Obviously the efficiency to the timeframe was due to the fact that I knew what I wanted, however, Kelly made sure that everything we discussed was exactly the same upon completing the transaction, zero surprises. I highly recommend Kelly Kimberley as your Sales Consultant, you will be treated fairly with respect and kindness.Thank you Kelly!
I recently bought a 2013 BMW X1. I was invited to schedule an appointment with a BMW Genius at Hansel Motors in Santa Rosa, to learn how to operate all the features included in this wonderful car. Kai Fuller spent more than an hour with me and my husband, and we learned a ton! He explained everything thoroughly and carefully and responded to all of my questions. I am confident that if I have any further questions down the line, I can call him and hell be there for me. I highly recommend Hansel BMW dealership in Santa Rosa. They have been wonderful to work with, and Kais enlightenment yesterday was the frosting on the cake! Jane M.
Stay away! These guys crooks !!! After having agreed to a deal, The General Manager had called to inform me they were going to increase the price by $5,500. Dishonest midline mentality disguised in a BMW showroom. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere. We found the identical vehicle at another BMW dealer for the same discount.
Great mechanics and very great service at the front desk. Very resourceful staff
Kai was outstanding; personable, thorough and wanted to make sure I understood everything about our new M4! The checklist made the task easy but we started with my questions first! A great plus for Hansel! Steve Zukor was also a delight to deal with!
Careful you dont get the old bait and switch when buying your car. Other than that, service department is wonderful. Liz (my service advisor) does an awesome job everytime I come in. And the unknown guy or gal who performs the service deserves credit as well!
Horrible customer service in the Service Department!!! Brought in my vehicle for service and they dented my rims when washing the vehicle at the end of the service, same thing happened to my Brother when he brought his vehicle a month ago, they offered to repair mine but almost a month away from the day they damaged it, I will have to drive my car damaged for a few weeks ... keep an eye for those dents and scratches 👎🏻
Needed service. Tried to schedule online but the apt scheduler on their website wouldnt work and gave me a message to call them. I called them and nobody answered, even though it was the middle of a business day, so I left a message. I spoke clearly and left my number twice (like I always do) but its been weeks and nobody ever called me back. Ill go to San Rafael for service instead.
I am happy to have the opportunity to write this review for the an all too rare positive experience my husband and I had 3 Sundays ago.We ventured onto the BMW lot not expecting to find the car of my dreams nor to meet Luis Chinchilla, who may have been the most delightful salesperson we have ever encountered. We seamlessly got our car, were communicated with in a highly professional responsible as well as engaging manner, and got an extremely comprehensive articulate tutorial regarding the cars operations.Thank you Mr. Chinchilla!
Great sales experience. They actually know how the Internet works. Found the car i wanted, agreed on a price and drove 2 hrs to pick up my new toy with zero hassle. Best car dealership experience ever.
Andrew Wood has great personality, and he is so friendly! As a graduated university student, an affordable price is really significant; with Andrew and all other gentlemens helps, I finally bought my lovely car for a satisfying price! On another hand, I did not only own my car, but also made one more friends!
Poor rating due to Carmaxs vehicle estimate guidelines.
So, I’m on a road trip with my i3, which I love despite the dismal range. I need a charge so I figure I can hit the local BMW. They seem all about supporting their electric car customers and are aware of their car’s limitations.I arrive and only see a type 2 charger. I don’t have 5-7 hours to sit and wait for a charge so I pop in to ask if they have a rapid charger. The first person I encounter doesn’t have a clue as to what I am talking about. The second guy, smug POS, acts as if I’m crazy to think they’d have a rapid charger and argues with me that type three is a Tesla charger. Not the case.I can’t believe that BMW doesn’t offer a rapid charge at dealership for the customers who invested in their limited product. I ended up having to drive to Walmart to charge. On top of that, get over the attitude car sales staff. Or you won’t have customers to sell to.
Overpriced for the work(as usual) however my rep( Greg) is always helping as best as he can . i spent aprox$1400. For fuel pump replacement! .600 more than any other places.
The experience of buying my wives first new car(2015 M3) was made both easy and pleasurable by the staff here. Especially Steven Zukor for keeping us well informed through the whole buying and delivery process and Kai Fuller for all his knowledge of everything this car can do and more. This is how buying a car should be like all the time. A real pleasure. We would highly recommend buying your BMW or any car from here! Thanks guys for everything.. and oh yeah the car… is AWESOME!!!
Product specialist Kai Fuller was excellent. I had a lot of questions about the electric car and he quickly knew all of the answers. He was very knowledgeable in the different models and how they all compared in size and performance vs other vehicles I was looking at.
Fabulous above and beyond! Micheal got me into the dealership, Adam was available to show me a variety of BMWs in my price range then allowed me to examine the i3. I never ever thought I would be interested in an electric car but I LOVE IT! I am so grateful to Adam for challenging me to see something I hadnt considered. Kai was the best at explaining the wonderful features of the car. Over all a 10 is just not high enough!
I came into Hansel BMW this past Saturday to buy out my lease on my 2013 BMW 335i. I met with Kelly Kimberly to talk about my options. He made the whole process easy all I waited for was on paper work since my car wasnt in their inventory. At the end of the day I was pleased on how everything worked out and walked out with a huge smile. I will be back and I will definitely recommend Hansel BMW to all my friends and family and setting up an appointment with Kelly Kimberly.
This is my first review on Google because I finally encounter someone who is worthy enough for me to spend the time to write a review. My fabulous customer experience with BMW has started on a Saturday afternoon in September 2015 feeling the impulse of upgrading from a babied, meticulously-conditioned Z4 to a newer one. I called Hansel BMW and Client Advisor Kelly Kimberly invited me come in to see what my options were.I was very aware of my budget and my car’s trade-in value and I made up my mind that I was not going to take anything less than KBBs suggested trade-in value as I stepped into the dealership. My first meeting with Kelly Kimberly was very pleasant. He was willing to listen to my concerns and understood my budget. He worked diligently with his manager and offered me what I asked for. However, the 2015 version was not available at that time and only the 2016 version was available. Purchasing the 2016 version would have put a squeeze on my budget. Furthermore, I didnt see the reason I should pay a few hundred dollars more a month for essentially the same ride. I respectfully declined and asked for more time to think about my options. Kelly was caring, compassionate, and hassle-free and offered to keep in touch.I returned to the dealership the second time a week later to discussed my concerns with Kelly once again that I would like to stick with my budget and I would not compromise with a 228i. It turned out that he had been pulling strings and utilizing his contacts to find me a brand new 2015 BMW Z4 and the only one available was 1000 miles away. We were able to work out a deal that met my needs and my needs were very strict and specific.Thank you Kelly Kimberly! You are the MAN!
They have some mind-blowing cars here between a 2 Series BMW in an M5 even the new 7 Series. Could even have some custom vehicles. This is the place to go if youre looking for BMW local
Custom ordered a 2016 BMW M3 with my salesman Kelly Kimberly. Kelly was really helpful at what I should order for extra equipment and worked to get me an immediate allotment at the factory. I love the car!! He also was helpful at getting all the rebates and discounts available from BMW and USAA and Costco. Very cool.
The people are very helpful especially your service very professional and your work the whole staff your service department mr. Alan very professional experience always having a smile going out of his way to help you the whole BMW Center is excellent
After sales experience. The experience buying the car itself is not difference from others. Probably a 3 star experience. However after sales drama is the reason I’m here.I got a ~$75k vehicle from Hansel bmw, you’d thought they should at least treat you with respect, if not like a valued customer. After I paid them exact amount of money shown in the contract between me and bmw financial service, I’m clean with the dealership. No I’m wrong, I was sent to their collection department due to a payment they made ‘ for me’ that never authorized by me, not even informed me until 10 days they ‘made the payment’ — a phone call ask when I want to give them my credit card number to pay them back.I thought this gotta be a scam, right? I mean, no authorization, no receipt-soft not hard copy, no invoice, no letter. I talked to bmw financial service who is the rightful owner of the leased vehicle also the only authority that I agreed to make payments to, and they tell me clear and loud: I don’t not owe anybody else anything, including Hansel bmw.Just A phone call asking for my credit card number.Shawn, their general sales manager is this bullyingYet interesting Figure make phone calls asking for credit card numbers, then send to collection. As a matter of fact, you still owe me a check, which your finance guy Ben promised to send and said’ we will not cheat you as a dealership for a few hundred bucks’Hansel’s logic is, they don’t need your approval as long as they do things they think is good for you. They can pay your $10000 loan for you without your knowledge and then send you to prison because now you owe them.Next time when you in for service, we will replace your engine for you without your knowledge because they think it’s ‘good for you’.
I purchased a new 2016 BMW X3. I traded in my X1 which I had also purchased at Hansel BMW. Im a very happy customer, everyone was helpful and made the transaction smooth. After 3 weeks I met with Kai Fuller, who went over my questions and a check list and was most helpful.
They work with you to keep service costs down, where possible.
Top notch customer service by far. They fix your car and make you feel at ease that your car will get the best service possible
Expensive but it comes with the territory....you get what you pay for. If you want to drive the best, you want it maintained by the best. One things for sure, the loaner cars dont suck!
Incredible Parts Center, what a selection! The Sales Staff has a great staff as well. The Service Department is very knowledgable and helpful, If youre headed there request Ruby or Mats assistance for any needs you might have.
Hansel is a great customer experience across the board. I recently did a test drive day as part of my research for a ne car. Gabriel was very patient and willing to hear me out. I am spectrum and so I need things a very specific way or I lock up. I have a healthy disdain for all things social interaction. thusly I take a special breed of personality to be able to make it to the end of an interaction.I have dealt with hansel automotive group for 3 vehicles and I have never run into a sales person yet, who is under qualified in that arena.Gabriel impressed me specifically, not because of an abundance of knowledge or because he had a ready answer to every single question... ...but rather because of his willingness to admit when he didnt.he never said I dont know.I would have to ask this person or that a topic was outside of his specialty, sure... never I dont know.
Stay away from doing business with Hansel BMW. Ive had a terrible experience with their team. They lack responsiveness, execution, and cashed my check two months ago without returning my car for what was a two week fix in their collision center. It has been well over 2 months with no end in sight and/or return of my vehicle.
Always trying to sell you something you dont need and sales people have zero accountability. I was literally told by one salesperson when negotiating a lease return I dont work for BMW and Im just a worker bee, you have to talk to BMW Financial. When referred to the store manager I was told I should have purchased additional insurance to cover the excess tire wear on the lease, however this would have cost MORE than the amount extra I was paying for the tire wear on lease. Basically the lease was for 25,000 miles, but the tires were only covered for 20,000 miles. So a hidden cost with sales people blaming BMW Financial or offering a more expensive option that would have covered the hidden cost.
I have a leased 2016 BMW X1 M Sport. I came in to get a service check and to get my cigarette ports fixed for a long road trip. I set up an appointment on my tight schedule for 8:45 am. They changed my oil and when I got my car back, the ports were not fixed and they threw my wet and dirty camp rug on my leather seats which had clean clothes on it. They took it back in and when I got it back only one port was fixed. I had to send it back again. Over 2 hrs to get an service check, oil change, and fix cigarette lighter ports. Theyre attention to detail and care is not on point here. This threw off my whole schedule to what should have been a seemingly easy fix and my clean clothes and leather are wet and dirty.
My girlfriend and I had been looking around for a new car for her for a few weeks, and BMWs are a bit out of her price range right now, but we stopped into Hansel BMW on a whim when we were out last week anyway to take a look.First off we talked to a product specialist named Nate Lee, who was wonderful. He was able to answer any questions we had about any of the vehicles they had on the lot, even though some of them were not BMWs that came in for trade. He took us all around the lot to look at cars, and also guided us through Hansels online inventory, and then took us out to look at the cars on the lot again. After Nate found a couple cars for us to look at, we then also started interacting with their Sales Manager Marty. Not only was he an extremely pleasant person, but also came off as a calm and collected salesman. After a couple hours at the dealership we ended up leaving without buying anything, but it certainly wasnt for lack of the dealerships quality or credibility. By the end of our time there we had found a couple of cars to think about, both of them were actually from a different Hansel dealerships lot, and a great experience under our belt. Both Nate and Marty were joys to work with and proved to be great allies throughout our consideration process. Never did we feel undue pressure to purchase, and we always felt that our voice was being heard. We felt as though we were being dealt with honestly and with respect the entire time.We have been to other Hansel dealerships and found this experience to be the brightest by far. If we end up ever finding a car on any Hansel dealerships lot, Nate and Marty are going to be our first call.Even if you dont think that you want a BMW, if youre looking for a car just drop in and see them like we did, and I think youll at least be pleased with your experience.
If youre going to buy a car I suggest you buy it from Hansel BMW or any of the other Hansel car Outlets. Theres a ton of them on that one street right off the highway and I have to say I bought my car there and I had a great experience and become the turnout that my girlfriend also but her VW there.
From my first interaction with Steve when I stepped foot on the lot while just beginning to shop for my next vehicle to the complimentary one-on-one feature review and question session with Kai after picking my vehicle up from the lot, it was a great experience all around. I definitely recommend Steve, Kai and Hansel BMW.
Bad experience buying a car never again.
Kai Fuller, BMW Genius, was patient and thorough in his explanations of details in my newest BMW. He is a true professional and I appreciated having the opportunity to review some of the features I thought I knew how to work...
From Steven in sales and David and Gary in finance to Kai who showed me how to properly operate the vehicle, the experience was first class. Not only does BMW produce on the road, but also in the showroom.Thank You.
I called and set an appointment for a service on my Mini for a Monday and had my Mini dropped off on the previous Friday .I let the service receptionist know that we’re working out of town and what problems I was having with the car .She told me to have AAA drop the car off at service and leave them the keys and they would call Monday to let me know what is wrong with the car.Monday can and went with no call .I called and left messages with no return call .I called Tuesday and once again no return call .I was now concerned that my car was not there, plus I could never get anyone on the phone .Finally I reached someone Wednesday. To be told they have no idea where or who had my car .I told them I had an appointment and the car was dropped off that previous Friday .I asked for the service manager and was directed to David .He finally found my car and apologized for the process not being followed and would get my car checked out .I did receive a call the next day letting me know they were looking into the issues with my car but still did not know what was wrong. They finally figured it out the following day and told me what if would cost to fix it .I gave them the go ahead to replace the sealsThe following week, My husband and I called to let them know we would be picking up the vehicle the next day and could they add new windshield wipers. The service man on the phone said no problem .We drove and hour to get there to find a dirty car with no new wipers and paid the $1220.00 for the repairs .While in the parking lot, My husband backed into an employees car and damaged the bumper and headlight .Not such a great day for us, but we talked with the owner and told him we would pay for the damage .The gentleman works at the dealership and we asked to have them quote the repair .The service sales manager said to have them give us a decent quote as we were customers. We received a quote that was extremely high soI called to talk to the manager Dave who dealt with my personal car and asked if he could follow up on the quote and see what he could do as they lost my car and did not follow there own company policy. He said he would and would call me back that afternoon .I am still waiting for the return call and I have left message. The owner of the car went and had another quote done for over a thousand less on the repair from a local repair shop.Needless to say, we will never do business with Hansel BMW again as they do not follow through with what they say and do not follow through with there own Company policy’s .
Kai was excellent...spent 90 minutes with us on our new 428 reviewing the many complicated systems. Great dealership all around.
I spent $3200 on repairs only to be rear ended in an accident that destroyed the transmission on my 323i. El Cajon BMW stated it was not related to the accident and was caused by wear/tear. Funny how I took my car in for service, drove out like it was a new car, then BMW doesnt take my side when the car gets destroyed by an at fault driver. BMW is a scam, buy Chevy, thats what I did.
BMW establishment in Santa Rosa very excellent professional people sales staff the service writers staff very professional people and very friendly and very helpful
Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa has been a great team all around! From the initial sale in Nov. 2013, to each and every visit and appointment. I highly recommend their service department and follow up has been great! Satisfied and happy with each and every encounter. Sheila Franks - Venge Vineyards, Calistoga, CA.
I would give them a zero but one is as low as Im allowed. The service department is incompetent, negligent, and overpriced. Really bad place dont go. There are a lot of good dealerships. Im going to sell my BMW so I never have to go to another Hansel dealership.
Knowledgeable staff, great service with a convenient location.
Great staff. They know how to make your experience feel special.
I Went in today and waited 30mins to an hour to be attended. Made eye contact with some workers and none of the employees came to my assistance. The employees at Hansle BMW are ignorant and unprofessional people, Ive been to other hansel dealerships and theyve provided excellent service. Id give zero stars if could.
These people are criminals. Stay far away! They will promise the moon and underdeliver. You have been warned. BTW - that service warranty that they push? It covers nothing. Also, make sure your vehicle has breaks when you leave the lot.
After Sales support was great. Kai Fullers follow-up contact, setting an appointment to review the i3, and detailed knowledge of the car and features was very helpful.
Good sales people. But like all BMW dealerships, the service department sucks. Just avoid this brand altogether. Im on my 3rd BMW. Ill never buy again.
Worst service ever! Never again!
Just purchased a new x5 and was very happy with the professional, thorough and friendly experience.Very fair to deal with.I would highly recommend !
Great, Kai went over how all my systems work in my BMW. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I guess thats why they call him the Genius
Great service at the start.. will add on as I go thru the service process
From Ed at sales to the hour spent with Kai, excellent service!!! Professional, informative, helpful....all of the above.....thanks guys, we chose well going with BMW Hansel in Santa Rosa.
Our experience has truly been exceptional at Hansel BMW Santa Rosa. The dealership truly lives unto the expectations that we had from a flagship car like BMW. Tom Sprott, the Sales Executive was superb in answering our questions, test drive and helping us customize our vehicle. On taking the deliver, we met another exceptional talent- Kai Fuller the BMW Genius at the dealership. Kai is thorough, meticulous and cares. Anytime we have a question, he is available. The 3rd element of flight has been the after sales service. Mr. Mike Allen, the Service Manager is another solid professional, who ensures that we leave with a smile. Our experience with Hansel BMW Santa Rosa haven top class and the best of any premium car dealership we have dealt with so far. Sanjay Saigal
Ruby was an excellent representative for the Hansel BMW service department. I would recommend her personally to anyone.
The Parts Center was great and easy to deal with.
If your looking for a new or used BMW, Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa is your best choice in Sonoma County. My schedule doesnt allow for much un-scheduled meetings. Hansel BMW of SR, made my purchase (BMW X1) easy and hassle free. I would name them Hassle Free BMW of Santa Rosa instead. They work with you on financing choices (broke graduate student). They reach out to you in a matter of days to check up on you and make an un-matched effort to really exceed your needs. Tom was not your usual car salesmen. He wasnt pushy nor did he come off as desperate. Kai (BMW Genius) was just as accommodating. You wont find a better dealership then Hansel BMW.I would with great pleasure and confidence recommend anyone to Hansel BMW. You wont walk away disappointed. You may walk away with a new BMW, but there is no pressure what so ever! Youve been missing out!!!!10 stars for Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa!!! Happy new owner of a BMW X1 2015. ILL BE BACK!!!!
Clean and modern looking. Courteous, attentive and helpful staff.
A very professional attitude and service.
Super helpful team - thank you so much!Love my i3!
Decent service and frequent specials for service and parts which keeps me coming back.
Greg is great in the service department.
Hansel BMW worked well in representing an insurance claim to provide mechanical repair for my damaged BMW. Appreciate their professionalism.
Nothing but great experiences so far! Sales process with Tom was easy, and he was very accommodating. My previous car was totaled by a drunk kid so Tom came and got me in Petaluma in my new car. He was very patient as I dealt with insurance to get paid. Let me take the car pre-sale to run an errand related to insurance/financing. I needed to buy a second car (a Camry) for my mother-in-law a week later and tried to buy it through him but couldnt.Have had my BMW serviced twice at Hansel. Both times the process has been smooth. Earlier this week had a laundry-list of little things to fix in addition to normal oil change and I was worried they wouldnt take the issues seriously seriously. My service advisor, Ruby, certainly did and she seemed genuinely concerned that the issues get resolved.I thought they were little annoyances but she suggested I should have come in much earlier and not dealt with them. Issues included chamfer brakes to fix low-speed squeal, squeaks/rattles in cabin, stereo rebooting frequently while driving. All covered via CPO.Had an alignment while the car was in. Im glad I did based on the results. Quick turn around for all services. All issues seem to be resolved but the stereo reboot is intermittent so it is too early to tell if it is fixed completely. My car told them when it was due for service and I had a service appointment automatically scheduled for me the next day. I was easily able to modify it to suit my schedule including request for a loaner. Loaner was a nice 16 528i.Overall thumbs up!
We recently ordered a custom new BMX x5 eDrive from Hansel BMW and had the BEST experience with both salesperson Ray Endemann and Genius Kai Fuller! The car came in when expected and was perfect. After Ray gave us a good rundown on the technology and let us off the lot, a few days later we returned to meet with BMW Genius Kai Fuller to go over more features of this incredibly amazing technical beast. Kai game me the shortcuts, the insights and the know-how to manage this driving machine. I plan to return to him in a few days to go over more stuff. Having someone so easy to talk tech with and professional at the same time (without making you feel ridiculous) is a breath of fresh air. Positive experience from top to bottom. We are still raving about the Genius experience! Thanks Ray & Kai!
My 2016 BMW is full of technology controlled thru the Idrive computer system. Kai Fuller (BMW genius) covered all the bases for the system, and answered every question I had. All comfortably within the hours time allowed. A great experience.Dave Umino
Chelsea and Kai were very helpful and this dealership is great all around.
I walked in here looking like a total scrub and still got great service. Looks like I may be picking up my next Alpina here.
Really bad impression...Sales person was OK but when manager coming with him when we tried leave shop. The first question from dealership manager was Why are you here? What TF.and they do not price negotiation at all.Dont waist your time... unless you just need see and drive BMW.
Weve always been treated as if we were the only customers in the Hansel store. If you measure a company, service organization or store by how welcome you feel, how good the experience is, Hansel is worth all five stars.
