I just went for a chunk of 1 1/4 square tube stock for my hitch receiver. They obviously had a pretty expansive selection and I found myself a suitable length of what I was looking for without having to cut it. Rated 4 stars because good selection at decent price but of the 4 or so people I walked passed, none offered to help me find what I was looking for, which honestly I dont mind because I like the hunt but some may not. Ill probably be back for some aluminum stock in the future.

I have been using reliable hardware sense they were on College Avenue. I dont go often and dont spend much, maybe once every few years and spend less than $20.00. It took me a little time to find Reliable as they have moved sense my last visit. My experience has always been excellent. My recent purchase was to buy some steel to splint a broken patio umbrella. I was once again treated with respect. Even though I spent less than $3.00 the staff treated me like I was going to spend several hundred dollars. I was once again so impressed I decided to write my first review. Thank you Reliable Hardware!

For over 5 years, Ive been buying steel of all sorts of dimensions, the occasional hardware items and tools, plus have had some water-cutting done. I have an account there and have always been treated professionally and with friendliness and good nature. And thats by the office staff as well as the guys who cut the steel and load my truck.

Professional people that understand their products. Fast courteous service. If they dont have it, and they usually do, they get it there next day. Shop does great accurate work cutting, bending and welding. Been doing business with them for 30 yrs.

Weve been going to them for years and have always been happy with our experience except for this last transaction. We needed custom made plates for our remodel project, brought our template & asked for a price. 2 days later the manager, Kyle called and said the price would be $1270 ish, my husband asked if that was out the door and he confirmed, yes, we gave them the go ahead. We went today to pick up the plates the price changed to over $1400. When my husband questioned the price difference the lady had to call over Kyle. Kyle stated that the difference was tax, however my husband explained that during their conversation it was discussed that the $1200 figure was all inclusive, out the door, Kyle then said he would waive the tax and just charge the $1200 and started to walk away. This is where is got bad, he turned around & said you got your way & this is the last I will ever do a water cut for you. My husband responded and told him that if you quote a price thats what we expected to pay and that the mistake is on him not the customer. Had he meant $1200 plus tax he should have communicated that. Kyle got right in my husbands face as if he was ready to fight, who treats customers in that manner? Kyle is rude and unprofessional and should not be in a position dealing with customers. We will never go back and warn potential customers of the volatile employee and poor business conduct. There are plenty of other places that can provide the same service at better pricing.

These guys are knowledgeable, helpful, and if for some reason they dont have what youre looking for in stock, they can usually have it there next day.

The owner makes it impossible to set up an account with them because she doesnt understand general business practices. As an local company we cannot do business with them as an LLC without issuing a social security number. ( LLC means no SS# to attach to) Her first concern is being able to collect on bad debts despite having a $10,000+ history with no unpaid bills this year alone.... We will be sending our money elsewhere. Too bad we cant support the local guys.

Kyle is the best, i have him make all my customers filler kits.

Over priced, poor service Kyle the manager seems to be an arrogant person that knows all. They dont want to make customers happy just there for the buck stay away......
