This guy is trully amazing. He can handle any type of knife. I gave him 5 knives and they were all sharper than new when he was done. He did my knives in an hour.

WISH ID FOUND HIM SOONER!He came recommended by Japanese Knife Imports in Beverly HIlls (they will only sharpen their knives and use Magnus when they have too much work)For years I drove to Ross in downtown LA but that requires 2 trips and parking both times.Magnus is very professional, you just call him when you are outside, he will run to the car, take your knives and text you when they are done. Cant be any simpler, and the work is perfection. Plus you know you are getting the master and it is not being farmed out to a trainee.For easy transport, roll your knives into an old towel and place them in a shopping bag. Magnus prices are very reasonable as well.

Deserves more than just 5 stars... I brought Magnus about five straight razors over a year ago now. After all the time trying to sharpen them myself and botching that, I decided to find someone who could do it much better than I. Well, living in Marina Del Rey, I found Magnus over in Santa Monica and I couldnt have asked for more. Im now at the point where I need to resharpen them for sure, but I moved to Huntington Beach since then... Looks like Im just going to have to make a long drive one of these days before my face looks like Freddy Krugers. Seriously, dont bother with anyone else. He truly cares about his work and that shows. I would have paid 3 times the price he charged, so dont let his extremely reasonable prices scare you off. He is the best!

I gave him my very used Ka-Bar Becker BK2 (1/4 inch thick blade)I got it back shiny like a mirror beautiful Convex Sharpening i easily shaved hairs hand.also I gave him my Leatherman TTi with a dull blade and it came back sharp as a razor amazing.reasonable prices
