I would like to echo the sentiment of the other one star reviews here. Dr Strachan is not only a poor custody evaluator, but is also negligent and doesnt even follow his own stated procedures.I enlisted Dr Strachan as a custody evaluator in our case. As part of the intake, he made us sign a document stating that no written evidence would be accepted unless it was submitted to all parties. Yet after the report was written, I found out that Dr Strachan had accepted and referenced material from opposing counsel that I had never received. When I called his office, they informed me that Dr Strachan is not responsible for the enforcement of his own policies, and would not send me the referenced documents unless I paid him an additional fee.Upon reading the report, I discovered that Dr Strachan took statements that mother made at face value without any attempt to verify them. For example, he repeated numerous times that mother was a licensed therapist, when in fact, she never had a license. He also made sloppy errors like getting dates wrong and misquoting what people had said in interviews. When I called his office, they told me that after the report was published, there was no way to correct even the factual errors, but I could of course pay him to testify.When Dr Strachan testified in court, he was completely unprepared and couldnt even remember what he had written in his own report. My attorney had to instruct him to review his notes during a recess. Furthermore, Dr Strachan defended the statements in his report even in the face of direct evidence showing that they were false and refused to take new evidence into consideration during his testimony.Dr Strachan is a sloppy and lazy evaluator who is not fit to address the needs of the families that he has been entrusted to serve.

He was extremely negligent and completely biased. There should be an investigation into his practice. He isnt even deserving of 1 star. Class action suit anyone?

Extremely bias in custody evaluation cases. His evaluation was so off that it even surprised the judge and ordered to retain a new custody evaluator. He does not evaluate cases based on merit. He write his evaluation to please certain family law firms, so he can get more assignments from the firm.

Two words ....Negligent and Incompetent!!Angus Strachan is a FRAUD. Do not allow this creature near your children..Hollander
