Nice office desks and sofas were a great value. Today I bought two wicker chairs in excellent shape, only a minor scuff on one - for $99! Merchandise is well organized, no sorting through jumbles. Employees are helpful. Probably not the right place for rock bottom bargains - I use our local Goodwill stores for that. I arrive by bus, as parking is very scarce
Used to love it. Got too crowded. Simple as that. Near impossible to find a place to work between 11am and 4pm. Sometimes they use half of the space to do events, even during the day or as early as 3pm to setup forcing people to crowd or to leave. Think library during finals week with tons of talking for any college folk. And if you have to work past 5pm and there’s an event? Nearly impossible. Try doing work at a concertThe snacks are nice, but the furniture and decor are definitely outdated. Feels like a 90s doctors office. Wework is much more corporate, but definitely designed better for a better workflowParkings near impossible. CC doesn’t offer any parking. Which I get it’s not their responsibility, but when you attract hundreds of members to a previously unutilized space, you’re going to create a parking nightmare. Maybe having more of a responsibility over that would be nice. I’m sure the residential neighbors hate itAlso, to no fault of cross campus, I’ve had to call 911 not once but twice here, which are the only two times I’ve ever called it. People will rattle the doors to try and get in and yell at people inside through the glass doors and windows sometimes late at night. And past the hours of 6pm there’s virtually nothing between you and a deranged individual. So if anyone has to leave and opens the door, you’re in harms way. I think they recently hired security guards but just something to bear in mind. It’s not like you need to buzz in, pass a desk, then scan into an elevator like other officesMy tips in an ideal world? Make better use of the space that doesn’t include just buying more single tables and install some kind of double door or at least half gate system for night hours. Not worth paying for 24/7 access if you can’t feel safe doing work half of the time
Ive been a member of Cross Campus Santa Monica for over a year and a half now. As someone who works remotely, the atmosphere is the perfect combination of social and professional that allows me to accomplish my work goals but also be part of a community. The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to help you in any way possible. The social events expose you to unique groups while supporting and building the local community. I cant say enough great things about this place - and the cold brew on tap is amazing.
Great staff, great space and dog friendly! Bunch of great amenities including KOMBUCHA ON TAP 🙌🏽
Been here for 4 yrs (and yes, Ive checked out all other co-working spaces in SM, Venice & Playa Vista) very unique space, supposedly used to be a hangar (garage for airport) back in the days, so the ceiling is very high, as a result, very open work space, also has quiet areas to work in, working here is very relaxing, also staff (hi Amber!) very responsive. highly recommend :)
I have been to many co-working spaces in the LA area. Cross Campus provides a truly unique environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. Basically - great people w/ good vibes.
Cross Campus is a fantastic idea and offers a pretty streamlined co-op workspace for people that simply dont have an office or the money to Shell out for rent on a full time office environment. There is a conference room, private and shared work spaces and tons of great amenities. Im not a member, but have been to meetings in the space and have had nothing but great experiences.
Great facility, perfect location to work in and meet clients around. Lots of restaurants, cafes and the beach is just a few minutes away. The amenities at Cross Campus are amazing as well and its a comfortable place to work in for me and my colleagues!
A great place to work, network, have tea while thinking about your next project, etc.
Need someplace to work? Need someplace to work that is quiet, well wired up, has a massive amount of amenities, and if that wasn’t enough, gives you access to three other equally as well equipped offices? Then you should probably get the resident pass. Well worth the $370 a month, especially if you value a work/life balance.
I have been a member at Cross Campus for a long time, and it is my favorite coworking space on the West Side. The thing that elevates it above the WeWorks of the world, and other competitors, is Cross Campuss dedicate to cultivating a community that supports and co-elevates its members.
Cross Campus is okay. Recently attended an event here and love and hate the open plan. If you had a desk at this location youd scream because events take place in the same space where you work. BUT...they have had great events here including chats by folks like president Obama.
I like this Cross Campus location the least of the 3. Downtown and Pasadena are newer so theyve received more attention to ergonomics. The general workspace ergonomics leaves a lot to be desired. The larger tables that dont have office chairs have misaligned heights between the chair and the table. And the smaller work tables that have office chairs (adjustable heights) are very old and kinda falling apart.
Ive been a member of Cross Campus for almost 2 months now, and it was exactly what I was looking for.. Spacious, comfortable co-working space with a great community of like-minded Silicon Beach entrepreneurs. If you are an entrepreneur looking for a fun, productive place to work, you should definitely come check it out. Thank you, CC!
I have been a member here for the past few months. It is a top-notch coworking space and I would highly recommend. A lot of great entrepreneurs and early stage companies work out of Cross Campus and they have awesome tech and startup events all the time. The people that work for Cross Campus are super helpful and friendly. Easily 5 stars.
A great location and coworking concept that has been going downhill for the last several months.Parking has become nonexistent, the elevator music has gotten steadily louder, the dishware and furniture more cracked. On a recent visit, I found the place so loud that 2 dozen people had rerelocated from their usual spots to other spots in acoustic dead zones or fled to the phone booths to work. The front desk staff denied the music was too loud, and refused to doublecheck the volume... claiming there was no way the volume could have changed since opening and it was impossible for the control to have gotten bumped up.Unlikely to return.
Cool millennial-ish co-working space in a old-school warehouse-looking building. Lots of places to plug in, network, and just get work done.
Great coop workspace. Awesome environment, great staff and people, lots of worthwhile events. Good pricing too.
The best co-working space in LA. The OG of silicon beach. has changed my life.
Visited the campus several times. Santa Monica campus is of my favorite.
I attend the Santa Monica New Tech meetings at Cross Campus. Its a great place for networking and meeting local silicon beach people.
Great spot to get some work done.
Cool joint. I had a presentation here for Hack the Beach.
Great cowork. Easy people, good vibe
Parking is difficult but its nice space near expo line
Very spacious. Great place to get work done.
I highly recommend Cross Campus for teams of 1-6 people. You get a lot of amenities for your dollar: 100 Mbs up/down internet, printing, scanning, janitorial, discounts to paid events, convenient access to free events, attentive staff, clean working environment, access to kitchen amenities, great natural light, clean bathrooms (honestly, that matters in a 12 hour day), good temperature control (if you have been in a work space that is always too hot or too cold, you know it stinks), nice variety of working spaces, easy access to meeting spaces for your group, one block from lots of great lunch options, just the right level of serendipity, and a genuine interest in your success on the part of the community managers.I saw an online review that criticizes Cross Campuss billing practices. I have found Cross Campus to be fair, competitive, and precise in billing.
Big open space, very friendly staff. Its a good place to work, meet, collaborate and network.
Great chill community with an easy going vibe.
Great space, staff, and atmosphere. Parking is tough. Take the Expo line!
Nice communal area, decently priced, with free kombucha, tea, coffee, snacks, and printing for members.
PLEASE NOTE: the new Cross Campus location is at 1558 Tenth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401 (Basically where 10th and Colorado intersect).Join us for the craft beer festival, Tap, Cheer & Give on March 29, 2014.Cheers!
Amazing space, affordable, and inclusive of all!
Great space with very, very bad parking situation..I guess what else can be expected from Santa Monica ;0

I walk by this place on a daily basis and there is no one in it. I call up 4 times no answer. I finally get a hold of 5hem a week later and they tell me there is no space available. They dont have the time for it they say. Place is gonna fail.
Very cool as a co-worker space in Los Angeles. Easy to reach, cool people ...
A facility for entrepreneurs
What kind of deception is there
