This is an amazing program that helped my 8 year old son in second grade so much! Our tutor Katherine Simpson is one of the best. Her lifetime experience in teaching shows how impressive this company picks their staff! We were able to strengthen a lot of curriculums my son was struggling in. And surprisingly by the end of the year, we got straight A’s on his last report card. Tears of joy from a proud parent, hard working efforts to improve and grateful for a professional tutor program!

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. Horrible service, the tutoring is so ridged and inflexible that I would have rather tutored my son on my own. Also so overpriced when you can find incredible Stanford level tutors for a fraction of the cost.

My 8th grade twin boys love to work with Zack. Zack is super helpful with their homework various assignments. He explains mathmatical concepts very well and his endless patience helps them to understand and solve problems more easily. All communication with this organization was incredibly horrendous. I have had experiences receiving tutoring and I can fully say I would choose craigslist or Chegg tutoring services any day of the week. A lot of loyalist fans but honestly I could not recommend this company less.

Ms. Khadi is doing an amazing job with Hannah. We couldnt be more proud of her improvement with reading and writing of words and its pronunciations. One of the things I like about Ms. Khadi she takes time to address Hannahs needs. I briefly tried there services, honestly I didnt enjoy it, and it was really hard not being able to pay my tutors tips or extra for gas because of there system. Not terrible, just not that great in terms of management.

Tutor Dr. has been incredibly helpful for my son during remote learning. I have used a number of different tutoring companies but Tutor Dr. is by far the most superior! Their incredible professionalism and specifically their communication and responsiveness to my needs were exactly what we needed to get through this hump of remote learning. Absolutely incredible quality tutors and management. We use Tutor Doctor for our small group pod sessions as well as for private lessons (2nd grade level and Japanese) and have been beyond pleased with all the Tutors weve been matched with. They are great with kids, knowledgable and reliable. I cant recommend Tutor Doctor highly enough.

My ex-husband and I both work full time (now both from home). Our 6 year old was in online kindergarten in the Spring 2020 and we both tried working and managing his schoolwork. We were both at our breaking point. When we heard that CA wouldnt be going back in person in Fall 2020 we started looking into different tutoring options for 1st grade. We spoke to Nika at Tutor Doctor and we wanted to give it a try. Our experience far surpassed our expectations. She placed us with a wonderful, patient tutor named Jeanette who became like part of the family. We received emailed reports of the work that had been covered that week and we were always kept in the loop about upcoming homework assignments, class projects, etc. Were now able to focus on work while knowing that our son is supervised and in good hands. I tell all of my friends who are struggling with virtual schooling to give it a try and wanted to write a recommendation here too in case any parents out there are at wits end like we were. Give Tutor Doctor a try! Its been a 10/10 experience.

Tutor Doctor has been a great resource for us and our current POD during this unusual school year! We were set up with Jennifer was was an excellent tutor for our group. She engaged all of our children and helped us navigate and complete the various homework and projects our kids had. Unfortunately Jennifer relocated 😔 but Nika helped to find a replacement. This next tutor like Jennifer has been extremely communicative and helpful in getting us started. Also the tutors are all responsible as it relates to COVID protocols and this next ones even did her own testing. I find Tutor Doctor and Nika has made our world that much more manageable and appreciate what they have done for our children during this school year!

Everyone that I have had the pleasure of dealing with at Tutor Doctor has been very helpful and competent. The process from our initial meeting to finding the right tutor for my son to being matched with our current has been great. They really listened and understood what we needed from a tutor and did everything they could to find the right fit. We are still relatively new to Tutor Doctor, but are loving it so far!

We have been using Tutor Doctor for over 2 months now and the results are evident. Our daughters math grade has gone from a C to a B+.We began with an initial consultation to determine what our daughter needed. This was followed up with a matching of a tutor with our daughter based on the initial consultation.We were told that how our daughter got on, on a personal level with the tutor was just as important as having a well qualified tutor. This. being said, after our first tutoring session, if our daughter didn’t feel a connection with the tutor, we could contact Tutor Doctor and ask for a different tutor.We actually ended up doing just that. The first tutor was very good, but our daughter couldn’t relate to him on some level. The why didn’t matter, once we contacted the office, they went to work to find a different tutor that would match our daughters needs.The second tutor, Jenni was the one!We are very happy with our experience with Tutor Doctor, Nica and Jenni.Thank you so much!👍🏽

Working for Tutor Doctor has really changed my life. When I decided to become a tutor, I did not know how to get started, how to gain experience and how to get clients. I applied and interviewed with Tutor Doctor because I saw their advertising all over the internet and signs around the schools that I live close to. IT was one of the best decisions that I have made in my life. I have been working with Tutor Doctor for 4 years now. I have worked with so many wonderful students. I have maintained long term relationships with several families and have watched the children grow, learn and move onward. After a year or two of working with TD, I was offered the opportunity to train and go on initial family consultations as an educational consultant. I continue to tutor, consult and work with wonderful families in the area and I also have the opportunity to represent Tutor Doctor in several of the community events they participate in around the Santa Monica area. Tutor Doctor has made working as a tutor a positive pleasure and a wonderful way to still be working as a credentialed teacher without putting in the hours of a full time job.

I worked for Tutor Doctor and it was a great experience! The platform they use for assigning tutors and scheduling out your sessions with students is easy to understand. I was given enough information from Tutor Doctors initial eval of each student to prepare for my lessons! If youre looking for a great part time job and you care about helping kids learn then this is the best place for you!
