Griffin, Lynn, Mr. Reynaldo, and the College Zoom team. What a fantastic group of individuals. I cannot overstate the impact they had on my application process. I came across their blog and went through the website and found stellar reviews. I was initially hesitant about going to a college counseling service due to the experiences of my peers, but after reading their reviews I decided to give it a shot, and I am so glad I did. I approached them a month before the deadline, realizing I really needed help with the process in the chaotic COVID-19 time. They took me with open arms, opening up their schedule for me and accommodating to my busy schedule and the difference in time zones. As the first one applying to college in my family, neither my parents or I knew what to expect and were even more nervous with the exponential increase in applications this year. They reassured my goals were realistic and they helped me shape my essays/resume so I could accurately portray to the admissions committee. I was admitted to Stanford University in the early round, going way beyond what I expected. I never thought I was going to get accepted to a top 5 school and nearly did not even apply! God willing, my younger brothers and sisters will receive help from them. I wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone going through the process as it proved to be way way more than worth it in the end for me.
Thanks to College Zoom (CZ) I was admitted to Harvard University, and I know that without their help on every part of my application, it would not have been possible. What I really value about CZ is the one-on-one time they spend for each part of the application, even the activity sheet (which many other college services do not provide for, even though completing it correctly is just as, if not more, important than writing the essays well). The services they offer are incredible. They even go as far as they can to help you select the best recommendation letter candidates for your application.Like every other student, I was most intimidated by the personal statement of the Common Application. However, through CZs excellent tutorial videos that combined with their instruction, I was able to both craft a compelling essay and learn the techniques that allowed me to make my other essays just as good.Every one-on-one session was extremely productive, and I NEVER felt rushed to finish. In addition, CZ NEVER dragged and stretched sessions unnecessarily. They would rather give me time to think and revisit an essay later than drag on an unproductive session. Sometimes, short and frequent sessions were what my personal statement needed to refine it to the level I needed, and that is exactly what CZ provided.Throughout the whole process, the CZ team was extremely helpful and flexible, as I often had to reschedule due to my extremely busy first semester in my senior year. I also did some early preparation with CZ for my college application, outlining essays and finishing my activity sheet with them the summer before I applied. Overall, CZ really works for whatever plan for college applications you want to pursue.Throughout all of this, I am most thankful for CZs incredible commitment to quality. I would recommend them to everyone, regardless of what college you are targeting.
I got into a top MBA program thanks to the guidance of the College Zoom team. They are incredibly knowledgeable and conscious of your time each session. They ask you the best questions in order to help you form your story in your own words. Not only did I come out with amazing essays, they helped me revise my resume and tailor it to the school of my choice. Thanks guys!!!I highly recommend this service to anyone who needs a launch pad for their application process.
David, Jackson, and the entire College Zoom team are incredible and were so great to work with. Their proven strategies are well worth every penny. Youre not just getting someone to look over your application, youre getting a personalized coach to help you look your absolutions best on paper, something you cant find anywhere else. It also works! Im now a sophomore at my dream school in the Ivy League thanks to their wondrous help and guidance. David and I are still in contact, and I know I have found in him a mentor for life. Thank you, college zoom.
I started working with David and the rest of the College Zoom teach my sophomore year of high school. They helped me build some incredible applications. I got into my first choice school on Early Action: Georgetown University. College zoom really helped me use my strengths to initiate many projects and get super involved in my school. Without Davids creativity and leadership skills I dont think I would have stood a chance at getting into Georgetown. If you are currently looking for a college counselor please look no further. This team is by far the best you are going to find.
David and his team were an absolute wonder to work with! Without their help, I doubt I would have been accepted to Columbia University with a likely letter and special Scholars honors.I primarily sought a college counselor due to the fact that I had little idea of where to start with college applications. I didnt know how to begin formulating my Common Application, main essay, supplemental essays, and more. David and his team helped me organize and showcase all parts of my application in the best light possible. What especially stood out to me about David and his team was how dedicated and caring they were. Even when I had last minute deadlines, they would be there to help polish up my submissions. Additionally, they understand the entire college application process so thoroughly! The tips about little details in the Common Application definitely strengthened my submission.I highly recommend College Zoom, and urge families to start working with them as early in the application process as possible.
College zoom has been guiding me since I graduated high school and wasnt able to get into the university that I have always wanted to get into. I put in a lot of work throughout the past two years with them and Im so happy to now be committing to UCLA as a psychology major. In the beginning, it can be uncertain whether you will get in the school of your choice, but one thing for sure is that college zoom makes everything possible. They are very well organized, trained, experienced, punctual and much more! The application process is very stressful, but they broke down everything in pieces to ensure that every section of your application shows your full potential and who you really are. Every effort you put in when you work towards your essays counts and it really does reflect in the end. I would have never been able to write a complete essay without their help. They are the best the best company for college counseling you will find out there.
CollegeZoom is certainly an investment that is worth it. I met David and CollegeZoom in 2015 and he and his just as amazing staff have helped me to get my undergraduates degree at the university of edinburgh, my current masters degree at university of college london, and as of last night my law degree at USC with a scholarship and housing stipend!! CollegeZoom is certainly worth it and will bring peace of mind in your application process. Thank you CollegeZoom!!
My daughter is ecstatic that she will be studying Computer Science at the Cornells College of Engineering. As an immigrant parent, it was my dream to see my kid get into Ivy League college. I am an Engineer by training who is most comfortable with bits and bytes and a solid grasp of spoken and written English. However, I am no wordsmith. So when it came time for college essay writing, I was looking for some guidance, training, coaching Or any combination thereof. Google showed plenty of advisors, who burnished their resume as Ivy admissions officers in the past, offering packages worth 25K or 40K for admission counselling. We interviewed 5 - 6 Ivy League counselors. However, they all sounded similar - pre-packaged and canned. I was not sure how my daughter will be able to express her true self in college essays with such pre packaged guidance. It never clicked - part of it was the high brow attitude, part of it was lack of depth in guidance, part of it was pushing packages. Then we hit upon College Zoom. It was a West coast outfit and to be honest I was reluctant if they will be able to assist us with our East Coast college list. We had an hour and a half long introductory call with David and I was simply blown away by his energy, enthusiasm. He presented a logical, calibrated, spreadsheet based approach to graduating kids towards perfect essay writing. Being an Engineer, I am a spreadsheet guy and loved it. So I was hooked. For college planning, David did a pre-assessment where he scored my daughter on a college evaluation sheet and showed us where her baseline rankings fell below the expectations of her desired colleges. When we started, my daughter had largely consisted of CS classes but she had not led any projects. In subsequent planning meetings, David encouraged my kid to walk back down the memory lane, rediscover herself as a leader. Then, they choose the elements in her profile to prioritize and enhance through current social/extracurricular engagements so they could be written about before her applications were due. David periodically checked in to monitor my daughters progress and fill in gaps that alleviated her profile ranking higher. Most notably, David did not simply develop my daughters extracurricular spike, warning us that even high achieving students can become clichés. He challenged her to develop her spike in unusually creative ways and he made the process of innovation less intimidating and hassle free. The whole engagement lasted over six months and I found everyone on Davids college application team to be very knowledgeable, organized, highly competent, efficient, responsive and always pleasant. Thank you ALira, Jackson, and Michael! I would highly recommend College Zoom to any parent who sees essay writing as a core part of the application process and as well as a transformative learning exercise. What College Zoom helped my daughter achieve transcended college counseling.
I would absolutely recommend College Zoom to anyone trying to get into any university. I am a rising junior at Yale University, and I think College Zoom was pivotal in helping me get into my dream school. In high school, I had your run of the mill high achiever profile: good grades, good test scores, and dreams of attending an Ivy League university. That is not nearly enough to get into any of these hyper-selective schools. Furthermore, the resources I had at my school were not very helpful; a staggering majority of students from my high school ended up at UC/CSU schools and we were not encouraged to apply out of state. I needed a college counselor that knew how to make me STAND OUT, because just being a good student is nothing remarkable to a place like Yale.Thankfully, my parents took me to see David early enough that I was able to use his expertise in crafting the perfect resume over the years. His advice allowed me to maximize the little free time I had into things that would highlight my goals, passions, and abilities when the time came. When senior year rolled around, the help I received in the painstaking process of applying to 12 different schools was phenomenal. Davids help in approaching the Herculean task of writing countless different essays in an efficient, yet powerful way was definitely what made me feel confident in the application I was sending out. The most remarkable thing for me was the CZ approach to essays, because with their help I was able to write essays that I am still proud to read to this day.We picked David and College Zoom because we felt that, compared to other similar companies we looked into, College Zoom was the most capable and also the most personable. The college application journey is different for everyone, and we felt College Zoom cared the most about me as an individual, and that they would help me stand out in my own way rather than trying to fit me into a mold.We have no reservations about College Zoom and recommend them wholeheartedly. The college application process gets more competitive every year, and I am glad I had College Zoom to help me convey my years of hard work in the best light on my applications.
I reached out to College Zoom in late July before the start of my Senior year. Even though I had an older brother who had gone through the college application process before me, there were many parts that were foreign to me, and I was looking for someone that could guide me through the entire process. David and his team not only elucidated the application process, but also ensured that my application was strong enough to compete for a spot at top tier universities. With the help College Zoom provided me, I was accepted into MIT, as well as several other top 20 universities.Going into the application process, I knew that I wanted to apply to over 20 schools, but my high school counselor advised against it, stating that an increase in quantity of applications would decrease their overall quality. I shared this problem with David during my first consultation and he assured me that as long as I started early enough and stayed on track, I would be able to finish as many applications as I wanted to, and their quality would not falter. The structure of College Zoom ensured that I stayed on track since it prevented procrastination. Rather than having one due date (which was the day the entire application was due), I had due dates every week to make sure I wasn’t falling behind. This was important to me since I had two write over 80 essays total for my applications. Each week, I was responsible for completing a part of my Activity Sheet, or writing a new supplemental essay, or reviewing my past essays. I was able to directly see the beneficial effects of this when I entered my Senior year and had completed much more of my college application than my peers. While they were just beginning to fill out the preliminary information, I had completed my Activities Sheet, Common App Essay, and almost all of my UC Essays. Without College Zoom, I would have been struggling during the school year to keep up with schoolwork as well as college applications (which is what I saw many of my friends experiencing). In the end, I completed all my applications by the end of November (a full 1 month before the regular decision deadline). One of the most valuable assets of College Zoom is their 1-on-1 approach with trained professionals. Rather than having one person review my entire application, I had separate tutors who guided me through each process. One specialist guided me through the Activities Sheet, another guided me through brainstorming and writing my supplemental essays, and another was available to review my application as a whole before I submitted them.Along with my normal applications, I was also a tennis recruit for some of the schools I was applying to. I didn’t expect to receive any help from College Zoom regarding this aspect of my application, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that David was knowledgeable in the area and was able to guide me through the process of talking to college coaches. I eventually did earn a spot on the Men’s Tennis team at MIT.I would highly recommend College Zoom to any students or parents who are thinking about it. The most important part is starting as early as possible!
We highly recommend David and his team. They helped my son Edward get into highly competitive UC school. We used their services with my older son Andrew and he was admitted to UC school as well. They helped my son with application process and informed us to make right decisions for Both kids. We are thankful for using David and his team. During pandemic we needed professionals giving us right counseling. Thank you again David!
I got rejected from my dream school, USC, but David and Griffin helped me write an appeal letter that reversed their decision! I would absolutely recommend College Zoom to anyone who is trying to write an appeal letter, or get counseling guidance throughout high school. David is communicative, always replying promptly and kindly to questions and emails, patient, and clearly knows what hes doing.David and Griffin explained to me that appeal letters are much more effective when written analytically, with logical reasons on why I should be accepted into USC, rather than with emotional appeal. We looked over my original application together and Griffin helped me pick out areas that were weak that I should address in the letter. Before I reached out to College Zoom, I was planning on writing a love letter on how much I wanted to get in and loved the school, but Im so thankful David and Griffin helped me change my mind and guided me toward building a letter that actually worked! 11/10 recommend.
My BIGGEST REGRET is that I didnt take my son to see David earlier in his high school career. David is not only a college counselor, hes a life coach for impressionable teenagers. He sparked something in my son that I was never able to by instilling in him a sense of purpose, and the desire to succeed both life and academics.I took my son to meet with David the summer between his junior and senior years of high school. My son has a trust that will pay for him to attend any school he wishes, and I struggled throughout his high school career to put effort into getting into the best school to take advantage of his trust. My sons GPA hovered around 3.4, and his standardized tests were middle of the road. We met with David in an attempt to maximize our approach to applying to the best schools my son could get into based on his student profile.College counseling is not cheap, but as in life, you get for what you pay for. David was worth every penny (I dont have very many pennies, or a trust.). He doesnt waste any time, and I felt I received excellent value for his services. He delivers condense information in a well-organized manner which a teenager can digest.Communication with David was superb! Being in law-enforcement, Im regimental, so I appreciate how responsive and attentive David was throughout the process. I would send emails to David at 1am, and received an immediate response from him!!!!! I would mention minor details about my son, and David would surprising recall them. Before our meetings David sent me an outline of topics he would hit on so we wouldnt waste time. I appreciate the efficiencies and thoroughness, which made me feel I received tremendous value.David is a professional and expert in his field. He gives you the facts, information, and the reality of college admissions. Then outlines the approach and strategies to attack the process head on!NEVER GO TO COURT WITHOUT A LAWYER, NEVER GO THROUGH THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS PROCESS (FOR A COMPETITIVE SCHOOL) WITHOUT DAVID...Thanks again, David!!!!!!
11/10 would recommend! I got rejected from USC (my dream school) because of my low SAT score (1290 - I had a valid reason for this low score) and without David and College Zoom’s help (Griffin from College Zoom was the one who helped me) my appeal definitely wouldn’t have been successful. I was able to reverse my rejection and get into my dream school because of College Zoom!
First of all I need to thank you David Reynaldo from the bottom of my heart. I came to know him only few months back. But his response time, efficiency, and knowledge of current college process is amazing. He goes beyond to help you. We reached Reynaldo after my childs college admissions came out. We got few waitlists and few acceptances. Then I was searching in the net for writing a good appeal letter for waitlist universities. Even though we have private counselor which we paid thousands of dollars, we are utterly shocked and disappointed by the quality and service they provided. Looking at the reviews of college zoom I wanted to make an attempt. I emailed Reynaldo and his response time was 5 mins. That was a good sign for me as our private counselor would take days to respond for simple yes or no. I somehow got a good vibes and proceeded with an email saying we will go ahead. We were able to setup an appointment within 2 days with Griffin. Writing an essay that is also compelling appeal is tough task as anyone could imagine. In our 1 and 1/2 hour appointment, the amount of stuff that Griffin derived from my child was amazing and even my kid marveled at how many important things he had forgotten.College Zoom has a different perspective of looking at things. My kid was super amazed and was excited as he went on going and going explaining to Griffin his achievements both big and small. I have to tell you once the meeting was done, my child was expressing happily saying that Never in my life did I think that writing an essay could be this much fun. After 2 months, my child was accepted to Vanderbilt for computer science, the best university on his list and he was finally happy! However, we are now stuck with a difficult decision between the pragmatism of his top 2 choices, and our private counselor is not responding as usual. Then I hesitantly emailed Reynaldo not expecting a reply but he responded in an hour. That happened one more time. He responded without expecting a penny from me. This is my first yelp review. I usually dont put reviews. But I am pouring my heart here as in the times of the pandemic everyone is losing hope and times arent good for everyone. All we paid college zoom for was the appeal essay but Reynaldo stretched and helped me in certain times when I need help the most. I havent seen these kind of people like Reynaldo and Griffin who so passionately want to help kids to get into the school of their choice. You dont need to believe what I said but sign up for one session and feel for yourself .I really wish I would have known college zoom few years back .Thanks Reynaldo,Griffin and collegezoom!
They helped me get accepted on Hass Business School at UC Berkeley and Columbia. Im very happy with all the support the gave me during the entire process. I recommend 100%
My acceptance to USCs MBA in-person program, and winning the Deans Scholarship which essentially covers my tuition, felt surreal. I had no idea that the Deans Scholarship existed. In fact, I was in a work meeting when I got a voice-to-text voicemail on my phone that I thought was a scam...until I stepped outside and heard the full message from the dean himself. College Zoom, David, Jackson, and Lynn have truly changed my life.My experience with College Zoom dates back to 2013 when I was a senior in high school. I reached out to them about appealing many universities I was denied from such as USC, UCLA, and Pepperdine. I had applied on my own. Although heartbreaking, getting those rejections was easily the best thing that ever happened to me. Facing a wave of rejection made me determined to get my act together and try transferring into my dream school, USC.I knew that College Zoom was exactly what I needed for my transfer application to help me achieve a different outcome in my second year of college. However, after building an awesome application, I experienced an unfortunate series of events that killed my eligibility for every business program I applied to. At the last minute, I had no choice but to withdraw from a calculus class which would prevent me from completing all of my pre-requisites by the completion deadline. None of the colleges we sought exceptions from would allow me to make it up that summer. The director of LMUs Transfer Enrollment Services said that even LMU students who hadnt taken calculus werent eligible for admission into the business major. Being rejected from every business program I applied to was heartbreaking once again, especially because I knew the quality of the application we created.David advised against my idea of taking an entire gap year, which would allow me to re-submit my transfer application with the calculus class completed. He explained that it wasn’t worth the postponement of my degree progress as well as the delay it would have on my career progress in the big picture. So, I finished my undergraduate degree at the University of San Fransisco and after graduation, I successfully worked within two of the worlds top investment management firms. Despite climbing my way up the corporate ladder; however, I still had an itch to pursue higher education and earn an MBA at USC.Fast forward a couple of years, I caught up with David over lunch, catching up as old friends. I told him that I wanted to go for my MBA at USC and he told me that I had already written most of the components that I needed for my MBA application already, thanks to my previous transfer application. With two weeks time, Jackson, Lynn, and I finished a graduate application that I was truly proud to put my name on. My essay was largely the same, except expanded to include updated information, and my resume was updated with my recent work experiences, articulating what made me different in my positions. In the additional space the MBA application allowed, we were able to add more compelling information about my old experiences, too.I submitted my application, with time to spare before the deadline, and was admitted to USCs Marshall School of Business shortly after! However, what really blew me away was my scholarship! The speed and expertise of David, Jackson, and Lynn are second to none. If youre on the fence about hiring a college admissions counselor, try a consultation. This did it all for me. While my path to USC was not typical, I was blown away with all aspects of my time with College Zoom, especially in the way they truly cared about my journey and helped me navigate every low moment in the process. The support and honesty College Zoom provides is something I really value and am truly grateful for. Their approach is very methodical and strategic. I didnt only use this service once, but two times and I would do it again! College Zoom paid for its services many times over. I 100% recommend them.
David gave my daughter great advice. He answered all of her questions about the college process and added clarity!
David was quick to communicate and gave me the information I needed concisely.
I am so happy I came across CollegeZoom! Before the application process I had a ton of questions and was unsure of how to proceed. At first, I spoke with David over the phone to go over my profile and then I followed up with many many emails. I must say that with all my questions and concerns, David was very understanding, attentive and prompt in his replies. He was always thorough in his answers and the way he explains things gets you to see things from a different perspective. Sometimes I would email him late in the night thinking that I wouldn’t hear back until the next day or so but to my surprise he would reply.David has a strong team and a great specialty for being able to pair students with the right team member. For my application essay, I was paired with Jackson and found him to be a great fit. Before our meeting, it was difficult for me to express myself, but after speaking with Jackson, he was able to help me brainstorm and extract information that highlighted me as a person. This really was the key that helped to further develop my application and it was of immense value learning more about myself.I have gained confidence in my goals and I would recommend others that are applying to school to use CollegeZoom. I am positive they will have a great impact for you as they have done for me.
I am a senior at USC and am in mid-life crisis. Being an international student so I have spoken to a lot of counselors here and back at home. Today, I emailed David at College Zoom, and he called me back in 20 minutes and discussed my situation at length. I must say that it was one of the most honest conversations I have had, and I could feel that he is driven by his passion to help students (in this case, me), and is not money-minded. I am applying to graduate school soon, and am convinced that I want to take College Zooms help with the process.
This past December, I contacted College Zoom to help me transfer to my dream school, USC. I had searched for resources and people, and found that College Zoom was truly the best of the best. I could not have achieved my dream, had it not been without the help of College Zooms founder, David Reynaldo, and his team. We engaged in Skype sessions where they directed my next step and were constantly helping me every step of the way. The pre-meeting homework in addition, served beneficial when completing my application. College Zoom makes the college admissions process, or in this scenario, college transfer process, one filled with hope, rather than headaches. My family and I are truly grateful for College Zoom as it made a life-long dream achievable. The staff is incredibly helpful and knows exactly what they are working for. That is, helping teens, like myself, achieve their dreams of getting into their top school! I highly recommend College Zoom for your childs college needs; they are the best!
We hired College Zoom to help our son write his personal essay and I would absolutely recommend using them for college application guidance and advice. The personal attention and one-on-one help was important to us and we got a good result. Our son R.D. got into his first choice college! The #1 first choice college was a reach school and it placed weight on the personal essay. R.D. met College Zoom when he did the college bootcamp for Palos Verdes High School. The bootcamp was impressive and we had no reservations about hiring College Zoom. R.D. decided to choose a controversial topic for his personal essay, believing it told a story about who he really was. College Zoom helped guide R.D. to deal with the controversial topic for the personal essay in a very creative, constructive, results-oriented way.The first drafts were about a potentially divisive topic and College Zoom helped turn it into one that was successful for helping him get admitted to his #1 choice college. We recommend College Zoom!
For those who are skeptical, believe me I was too. There are sooooo many college programs out there that promise how they will help you with your essay, yet its hard to distinguish which ones are scams and which arent.Even when I opened College Zooms website, I didnt immediately book a session. It was after three days of doing intensive research on this website, such as reading through the reviews, and the stats, that I realized I had to take a risk. If I didnt, I would forever wonder if I couldve ever gotten off my waitlists. So, I sent an inquiring email to them and within the same day, a specialist reached out to me and we set up a meeting. Their fast response is what gave me a little bit of confidence because it proved to me how legitimate they were and how eager and willing they were to help me. Not only that, but my deadlines were approaching, so boy am I thankful that they reached out to me in such a timely manner. In my email, I told the specialist how I wanted the money I put in to be well worth it. And little did I know then, it was sure going to be.During my video call, I basically explained my situation in regards to my grades, extra-curriculars, and the type of student I was from freshman to senior year. Ive never had someone listen to me so attentively, pinpoint my strengths, and instill in me the confidence that I could actually take the waitlist head on. Seriously, my specialist asked me questions that I had never even considered or asked myself before.First, I worked with my specialist to make an outline, and together, we crafted an essay from beginning to end. Appeal and waitlist letters are not something for students to handle alone. Rarely, do they work in our favor because us students dont know exactly how to articulate our passages in a way that will captivate the admission readers. But thats where College Zoom comes in. Equipped with their years of experience with different types of students and schools and being invited to present at USC, College Zoom is the real deal.My college process was very stressful and to top it off, being waitlisted at my dream schools were extremely disheartening. As I explained my story, I remember tearing up at one point because my specialist was able to understand exactly where I was coming from. Their caring and encouraging nature truly struck me, because they saw me as a human being, not a paycheck. After ending my call with College Zoom, I thought to myself, even if this doesnt work out its fine, because my process with College Zoom proved to me I could be a fantastic student just about anywhere. So, I sent in my waitlist letters already feeling satisfied knowing that I had just put my all in. But most importantly, it was nice to know I had someone on my side. Now is where I share the good news. Ive gotten off the waitlist at THREE schools. This was unimaginable to me months ago, and now its my freakin reality. I didnt know Id see the day where it would be my decision to decide where I should matriculate. Many people will tell you that theres no exact formula to getting off the waitlist. But thats probably because they havent worked with College Zoom. I dont have a 4.0 GPA, or even a close to perfect standardized testing score. I also dont do more than 3 extra-curriculars. So if it was possible for me, it could be for you too. You just need someone to see you in a different angle, someone to help you develop a more compelling story. My College Zoom specialist has done more for me in one sitting than my college counselor did for me in the months leading up to college deadlines. Their specialists truly view you as a very unique applicant and find ways for you to stand out amongst thousands. I wish I had contacted them sooner in my college process, because I believe if I had received assistance earlier, I wouldnt have even had to deal with waitlists. So, College Zoom, thank you. I am eternally grateful for your help.
My daughter had a great experience with College Zoom. She had applied to a UC and but didnt get in. She had good SAT scores but her GPA was in the bottom 12% for the schools admitted applicant pool, although her grades had greatly improved in 12th grade. She decided to appeal the decision and we set up a 2-hour appointment at College Zoom. They helped her put together her appeal letter by brainstorming with her to come up with all the compelling reasons why she should be accepted. They then helped her put this into an organized format for her appeal. The UC stated that appeals are rarely approved so we knew it was a long shot. A few weeks later, before May 1st, she heard back and her appeal was approved! That was amazing because the schools website said, “The Office of Admissions won’t know until the beginning of June how many applicants -- if any -- will be admitted off the waitlist.”The staff at College Zoom really knows their stuff and have been really helpful. They also gave us some great advice on college selection. I would highly recommend College Zoom for college counseling both for college selections and applications as well as appeals if necessary. Thanks so much College Zoom!
Working with College Zoom was life changing and I HIGHLY recommend them. I felt shocked and surprised that I got into USC. The school of Gerontology is the most selective at USC – I thought it would be the easiest to get into, but I met a faculty member at USC who said that only 8 people got accepted this year and that it is the most selective.I was looking for more insight on the college application process and what colleges were looking for, and College Zoom helped me with that. They wouldn’t just give advice and little tips here and there- they really made my application something that I couldn’t have done myself. It was really easy to set up an appointment and they also made me more serious about the college process. I would’ve answered questions the lazy way and causally. You guys made me realize that this was really important and there was more you could do with my response beyond answering the question. You really pushed me, I learned that giving my best effort will result in things like this: an acceptance!I don’t known if I even would’ve gotten into USC if I didn’t use you guys. I tell my family that using College Zoom was the best thing I did for my application. Without CZ, I know my application wouldn’t have been the same application at all- it wouldn’t have conveyed the true me. I would’ve found it hard to put everything I wanted to say on paper, but when they questioned me, everything I wanted to say came out and they found a way to make it all fit.
