My drive was badly damaged and so he turned to his partners with more appropriate equipment to handle such problems. After handing me over to them, he continued to follow up with several phone calls to make sure that everything was progressing along for me.In the end, Carlos asked for no money from me, but put in a couple hours of his time to make sure that I was taken care of. I use an external drive as a backup for my files. I also use Carbonite as a secondary backup solution. Well, my external drive died on me recently and after recovering my files from Carbonite (took 5 days, nonstop), I realized that none of my video files were there. It turns out that Carbonite didnt offer video backup until recently (my bad for not checking their server). I also realize that a cloud based backup for the amount of stuff that I have is not practical with just a basic DSL connection.I have several hobbies that I have, that Ive accumulated many video tutorials on, along with many YouTube, and other videos. It turns out about 800 Gigabytes worth. I was very distraught. About ten years worth, and quite a bit of money lost.
