Went here to fax some documents and mail a package. He waited for me after hours. Awesome!! Owner packaged my stuff in a way it came out cheaper. Ended up buying some cards (there’s a large selection). And I also ended up getting some key copies. While there I witnessed how great he is with his mailbox customers. He greets them all and seems to genuinely care for them. I waited a little because he was calling a customer to let them know they received a package. This is great customer service! Place is clean and organized and spacious, which is definitely a plus during Covid. Did I mention he’s open 7 days a week! Couldn’t get any better!!!🙂

I was highly recommended to this establishment by a friend. I had to mail a package and I guess I had packed it wrong. Dimitris gave me some tips on packaging for a better rate. He also repackaged my items and saved me some money. While he was working on my box I noticed the large selection of cards he has (pretty unique and hilarious). If you haven’t been here you should stop by to see for yourself. It’s a gem in Montana. And from what I see a one stop shop. He offers a variety of services.

This man gives a warm welcome when I walk into the store and offers me water and snacks. He treats you with respect if you treat him with respect. I prefer this place over the post office for convenience.

The owner is funny. The birthday cards are witty. As Ive gotten to know him, hes offered me water when I come in. He knows how to handle himself. He can be nice and give you a discount or kick you out of the store if you create problems. Ive seen him help numerous people from giving food to the homeless on a daily basis to helping people apply and get jobs. Referring to the negative reviews Ive read, it doesnt make any sense to me. As far as I know, this is a good man.

Went here to get a key cut as one cut at Lowes would not work. The owner cut one for me to try first without charging me, and later lubricated my locks so everything working great now. Went back and got 4 keys cut.

Pandemic shmandemic! This is a great place to go if you like chinstraps instead of face masks and want a lot of touching from strangers. Perhaps if the owner spent less time responding to the copious (and from my experience true) bad reviews and more time following public health guidelines, hed have a higher rating.

Came here to print copies of some flyers. Owner was very kind and helpful, would definitely come back.

I am writing this review because the owner initially refused to put his mask on despite being 2 feet away from me, then he put it on when I insisted, but kept lifting it away to speak, defeating the purpose of the mask. Also the fact that he was constantly touching the mask meant that any potential virus could be on shared surfaces and items. I hope that in the future he stays safe and keeps customers safe by wearing a mask and not touching the part that covers his mouth.

Stay clear of this place. The owner (and what looks to be the only employee) is rude and when questioned about why certain things are higher priced that what I deemed appropriate for market value, he started to be verbally abusive to me.I get it - he is a for profit business, but it is still a buyers market, and asking a simple question does not warrant the behaviour he exhibited.Better off to go to Montana Mail down the road a few blocks where the service is at least consistently great.

Best place to rent a P.O. Box (business/personal) on the west side of Los Angeles. Dimitris is the man, kind, and professional; he has always given me the best prices. The deal he gave me is unbeatable anywhere else.

Look at multiple reviews on Google as to the pattern of behavior.And then the shop keeper goes on a delusional judgmental rant in response to his eccentric and unprofessional behavior in the process of running his store. Real men get mental help when they need it. Find a shrink soon. Whack jobs such as yourself give good businesses on Montana Ave and grown men a bad name. Sack up and fix your problems instead of taking them out on potential customers. Weirdo!

Dimitri at the Santa Monica Postal Place is awesome! I have never seen more care in packaging my items and to top it off, hes a very generous soul. He always tries to find the cheapest option. Ill only go to the Santa Monica Postal Place from now on.

Rude & unhelpful (intially posted). The business owner has responded and implied that I want everything for FREE. This is not the case. I called this place and inquired about pricing. I never asked for anything, but when I suggested that the prices sounded high to me the business owner was rude and hung-up on me. He never packaged anything for me, and I have no idea why he referencing tape (as Ive never done business with him). As a business owner, its important not to undermine others, but I was really surprised to hear someone both reacting in this way and then to read a complete fabrication of our conversation.

I called and asked if they had usps envelopes and he said no but I can buy his envelopes. I said I have the labels printed and it has to be an envelope by usps. He said that I can’t get things for free and he needs to make a living. You can’t sell USPS things for money that are free and a simple no would have been a good response.

9:45 am no one there, door locked. Called and guy said hes out running errands and went return for 45 minutes. Why not do your errands before or after work?? Will never go here again. Waste of time.

Some people use his business as a post office to drop off their boxes for mailing. Dimitri provides free mailing to his customers, as a courtesy, with the exception of UPS, which he now charges $1 for most box sizes. Dimitris store is not the Post Office, or a UPS store, or a Fedex store. However, some individuals have the impression his private business is there as a free public service. It is unfortunate that some of those people who have benefitted from Dimitris kindnesses and generosity, would so abuse him in this google forum.I can only suggest to any readers who are investigating postal services for the Santa Monica area, give Dimitris Postal Place, a fair chance. A terrible, terrible man runs this place. Rude, condescending, angry, abusive. I told him to his face his was being obnxious and he told me to leave the store. A fun shopping experience! Zero stars if they allowed that.

Dimitris the owner is a self-righteous bigot. While he was mostly friendly to me, he randomly started trashing refugees stating that they are all criminals. What is wrong with you, have you no sense of decency or humanity in you?! So thanks but no thanks, I left to do business elsewhere at a more tolerant place, where all humans are respected.

This guy is a crook! He overcharged me for a letter with a return receipt that cost $7, he charged me $19. Stay away.

He was very rude! I asked him if I can change my address, explaining the method I knew of, and he says Thats a stupid way to do it. Thats a dumb way to do it! Who would say that to a customer?

Beware: This guys markup is massive. He charged $3.50 for a 5x7 envelope and $5.95 of a posted pack with $2.66 worth of postage. When I asked for a receipt, he made me wait an extra 10 minutes. At first he also didnt want to give me my packages to put in the mail. I really didnt feel safe leaving them there. Thankfully after a lot of insistence he gave me the posted packages that I paid for. It felt really sketchy and creepy. Theres a real Post Office at 12th & Wlshire. Save yourself a small fortune and head there.
