I got a spa pedicure. Loved that she wasnt gentle. Massage could have been better but overall it was a good pedicure. I will likely return

Came in here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. Great service, staff was surprised I wanted gel on my nails, but they were friendly and did a great job. My girlfriend is very satisfied with her experience. These are her nails!

Paradise Nails is great, I highly recommend them!! They are extremely thorough, are able to make special requests, and are friendly and clean. I have gotten pedicures over the last 15 years at various places in Arroyo Grande, Santa Maria, and Nipomo and by far Paradise stands out as giving the best pedicures. I have had various staff do them there and they are all great. They dont rush quality but still are timely. Many other places Ive gone seem to rush to get to the next client or dont take their time on the details, Paradise doesnt do this. I definitely recommend getting your next pedicure at Paradise!

Absolutely do not recommend. I got acrylics with gel and they charge $40I asked if they could do ombre, the lady said yes. I even came in with pictures and showed her, double made sure she could do it and she said yes. When the time came to actually do the color, all of a sudden she told me she can’t do ombre, and i see that the color that i chose was not neon pink but i ended up with neon.I kept asking her to re shape my acrylics because they were coming out so uneven in length and thickness. But they still came out horrible.Do not go here to waste your money.

They were able to get us in without an appointment for 2 gel pedicures. We were pleased with the service and our toes look pretty. Also impressed with the fact that they were So Covid conscious...we had to fill out a covid questioner and had our temperatures taken.

Charlene is very nice. Susan did my nails though. They came out just how I wanted them. These are my own natural nails in gel..... UPDATE: I returned 2 weeks after my original post to get a acrylic over my natural nails and Charlene and Susan were both out so a lady by the name of Vivian did them. Please DO NOT GO TO HER!! She was not paying attention and she used her little drill and completely gave me a cut under my nail (between the nail and cuticle). Not a scratch a bleeding cut. Prior to this happening she had already missed my nail once with the drill filer on my actual finger. After she made me bleed I refused to stay with her and had another gal finish my nails.

My girl and I go here whenever possible, we moved from the area but when were in the area and have time we go here

I got my nails done and the lady made my cuticles bleed on five different fingers. The bleeding wasn’t mentioned to me at all and was “fixed” by adding nail glue on the cut. When it was brought to the workers attention, I didn’t receive any compensation at all. Very painful 0/5 rating if I could.

Ive been getting my nails done, long and acrylic, for years. This is HANDS DOWN the worst nail salon Ive ever gone to. I had to get a full new set while Im visiting out here and ugh I dont even know where to begin.I took the old set off myself the night before and warned the nail tech that my nail beds are super sensitive. She said she knows, then proceeded to use the handheld thing to file them down even more even when I pulled away and told her to stop because it burns. Im used to it being uncomfortable. But if Im unvoluntarily pulling away because it hurts THAT MEANS STOP.The nail tech wouldnt make them as long as I wanted, even when I said Ill pay extra.She didnt put enough acrylic powder on the nails and they look FLAT. Theres no natural curve to them like normal.The fake nail tip goes over my real nail on the side, its not the right size.I got these done a few DAYS ago and one is already cracked. Three others are separating from my real nail.The shape isnt coffin, its rectangle. And each nail is a different damn shape.And they changed me $10 to change the color on my toes to match. Normally its free or $5.

I’ve never been a “regular” for any one nail salon, until Helen first did my set. I will keep coming back for my acrylic fills. Always a thorough job, with time really taken to make the set done right. Very good customer service - easy to book appointments, and makes it a personal experience. Helen is great!

I had Henry to my nails. I informed him I wanted my nails thin and to look natural. He then introduced me to dip polish. They were beautiful and natural. Thank you Henry!!

Friendly staff. Took my 8 year old daugyter on mom and daughter date. It was hard to find a friendly salon last minute, but they didnt hesitate to take us in. Treated my daughter very nice and let her choose what she wanted. Great selection of colors. Our nails turned out great!

Today 6/29/19 I received the worst pedicure, I got the basic pedicure that is now $25, that was also a surprise. I have been going to Paradise nails on and off for about a year only really going every other month. The older gentleman that did my pedicure was clueless. My feet were in the water for 2 minutes before he took them out and never put them back in. He did not due my cuticles, he did not shape the sides of my nails and he did not know what he was doing. He was very nice but struggling. He did file my nails straight across, pumice my feet while they were dry and gave me a massage with oil. Some one else came over to paint them and she missed the corners of my toes. I was mad so I left and just let it go...fast forward to an hour later when I really started looking at them and thinking I decided to go back in and speak with a manager. He was rude and not willing to listen. He kept telling me that I got basic pedicure when I asked him to tell me everything in a basic pedicure, he said it everything you got, basic pedicure. I stated what i actually received and he called me a liar. At this point I left. I am disappointed in what once was my favorite place.

I am so impressed with the lady who gave me my pedicure today. I was long overdue for this service but also noted my legs were so dry and scaled. Not anymore!!! She performed magic! My 60+ year old legs look a very good early 40! Bravo! My pedicure was nice too! Lots of massage time. I think she knew I needed a good service!!! Bravo!!!

They were horrible. Rude employees. We went in for a manicure and pedicure and they said ok then after the pedicure said they wanted to close so they couldnt do our nails. After that they demanded a higher tip then the $5 we were going to give them for poor service. I will never go back.

I was beyond pleased with how my nails turned out, amazing coffin shape and beautiful color. Helen did an amazing job, the staff was super friendly. Will definitely be coming back again, recommend 100%.

My family and I got pedicures here while visiting from Illinois, it was a very pleasant experience and the whole staff was extremely friendly. Paul, Tracy, Linda, Kim and Lam worked with us and all did beautiful jobs they were very meticulous and skilled.

I am from Texas and while on vacation in California I decided to get a pedicure here. I am SO GLAD I did! The gentleman who did my toes took his time wth every step of my pedicure and while painting he made sure every toe was perfect! I couldnt have asked for a better pedicure! If I come back to Santa Maria this will be one of my first stops! Worth every dollar for the deluxe pedicure!

Worst place ever I wouldn’t go here. I asked for coffin and mood nails they didn’t know what mood was and called it changing colors. Then they force me to get powder and I wanted gel. My nails are not coffin and all in bulky and not in the same shape didn’t even file my nails or help me with my problem. They just kept talking in their language. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!

Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The service is always great and the people are very genuine, take their time on my mani/pedi, and always make me feel so welcome! I have been elsewhere when out of town and Ive always wished I had waited till I was back home to go here. Paradise is also by far the best locally, in my opinion. I highly recommend them.

They made my girls bleed and they are complaining that their nails are hurting them. My nails had some uncompleted issues. As far as the atmosphere I must say it is very relaxing.

I just moved to California from Florida. I looked and called so many places asking if they did dip powder because that is what I always got when I was in Florida. Finally, I found Paradise Nails and decided to give it a try. (Fair warning: they do not have many options for Dip Powder, I would guess around 10 colors).I came in and they were initially very nice! Upon starting I told the Nail Tech that I needed tips on 2 of nails since they were very short and for the rest I wanted to keep them their natural length as they were longer. She put on the tips and then filed my nails. She went really fast and neglected to take her time or even ask me what shape I wanted. So now some of my nails are square, some are round, and some are square round. They are also all uneven lengths.Then she proceeded to dip my nails and when doing so a bunch of wrinkles appeared all over my nails. So, I told her and she said they would go away with the 2nd coat. I said OK. Ive gotten dip powder done MANY times before and have NEVER had that happen. Then, after applying the 2nd coat my nails STILL had the wrinkles/lines again so I mentioned it again and she said, quote on quote dont worry about it. Instead of fixing them properly by redoing them, she tried to file and buff them. Some of the lines did come out but others did not. So disappointed! I was so frustrated and wanted to leave so badly by then that I decided to let it go.Then when it was time to have my nails dry, instead of using the fan (like every other time Ive used dip) she made my put my hands under the UV light. The entire reason I get dip powder is so that I dont have to put my hand under the UV light because I have very sensitive skin and nails and it hurts, and I also do not like the damage it can cause to my skin in the future. I asked if I could use the fan instead and she said, no, put your hand under the light.Also, some of the sides of my nails do not even have polish, just the tops. Horrible.Needless to say, I will NEVER be back. If google allowed for 0 stars thats what I would give them.

The man who did my nails was very gentle and really took his time on my acrylics and the price was $40 and they came out great and was engaged in conversation with me and my best friend.

Even though they were busy, they were fully staffed and had no problem making sure everyone was helped. Great experience over all and very fair prices.

I had the misfortune to arrive at Paradise Nail and Spa with a gift certificate. I DID NOT know that I had the wrong salon. I am shown a price book and said that I would just have what the gift certificate held. The the attendant told me that it would cost more for my calloused heels and I said no again. I saw the attendant turn my gift certificate over on the table. She says not one word to me the entire time she did my hands and feet. Then when she is finished she tells me that the charge is $35.00 and that I was in the wrong salon for the gift certificate I had. But why didnt you tell me that I was in the wrong salon????? The nasty manager kept raising her voice that I had NOT shown her the certificate. She repeated herself 5-8 times until I told her that I made an honest mistake but that her attendant KNEW !!!!!!! I gave her a 5 dollar tip and told her that she did not deserve it for her dishonesty. The manager kept talking very loud and I said, I am so sorry that you have to work with such a nasty woman. BTW: When I was put into the chair and the water was filling the basin, it overflowed all over the floor. I had brought my own 2 nail polish and had to ask for it back before I left. OMG I will NEVER go to this salon again. Lori S.

DO NOT GO THERE!!! I was visiting family in California and needed my nails done and the place I wanted to go to was packed so I came here. The lady didn’t ask how I wanted my nails (filed square or round) until after she filed them . Then messed up my nails and decided just to paint over them and leave them clumpy!!!!! NOT TO MENTION SHE LEFT POLISH RESIDUE ON MY FINGER BC 3 PEOPLE WERE WAITING

Went in for a full set a week and a half ago and most of my nails have fallen completely off, I asked for my nails to be pointed and the shape they gave me was awful, 45 dollars for a full set...I guess you get what you pay for...
