Good group of people. Ive never had an issue with anyone here. UPS also has great service for fair prices. I would recommend this location. Note, with the current pandemic, their parking situation is a bit confusing.
Remember parking and entrance actually in the rear of the building. Opened at 3pm, short line but moves quickly. Nice fella waited on me, all went well.
Ups kept trying to deliver packages to our house at time when we were not home I mean people do have lives they have to work. There option was for me to drive a whole hour to get our package or just let it return to sender. Horrible customer service, they do literally nothing to help you. We called 3 times and everyone was rude. And the people we talked to made promises to get our package delivered and they failed all 3 times.
My package was literally in town and I got an email. Got a notification saying that it was out for delivery and then it never showed up. I patiently waited because I figured something had happened. Recently my packages have been late by a day or two anyways so I wasn’t too worried. The weekend passed and my package hadn’t moved since it was supposed to be delivered, so I got nervous and called. They said they would do an investigation and sent me an email asking if I had gotten a replacement sent to me, but I haven’t heard anything from them since. Yesterday, I checked my package again and it says is in MICHIGAN. How? No apology. No explanation. And an extra week added to getting my package. Thanks UPS. I don’t know how someone hasn’t said something? The first review I read saying they just don’t think sums everything up here perfectly.
I have called this place three times and every time the customer service was easily the worst I’ve ever had. The first time was a gentleman who clearly did not want to be on the phone and ended the call abruptly. While the second and third time a different lady would barely answer if not avoid my questions and made it rushed. Worst ups ever.
I think this is the first bad review I have given in my entire life!Watch out for the hours, which say open 10 to 5 but closed noon to 3. So they are really only open 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.Still waiting in line (getting longer by minute) no service person whatsoever. There are about 10 people working here though in the warehouse so I just walked into garage and asked if anyone was working in office. When I got here I was third in line, now there are ten people behind me. Maybe one day they will help me.Ok to add to this post... Eventually the ONE person working the counter came back. He would not give me my package (a Christmas gift from our four kids for my husband). Our son that organized and ordered it, called UPS and per their instructions: wrote a letter, signed it, wrote the tracking number, and included picture of his drivers license. His middle and last name is the same as my husband. My last name is the same as my husband. I gave him my passport! This was still not enough. He said I should have a CA license. I told him we just moved here YESTERDAY, which is true. I told him I could show him our home deed and many bills with our CA address. Still not enough. After arguing with the guy for 15 minutes (45 minutes including the wait), I was finally able to get the package. My son said it was the same way with UPS on the phone. He said its like they dont think. I think that sums it up.

My packages show up and some of the boxes looks like they were opened. Had one package say delivered but it never was placed on my front porch as I was home and came out shortly after the time they listed. Poor service Will use Fed Ex instead when I can.
Multiple delays and still no package. Wondering if I will ever receive it.. was supposedly out for delivery on the 25th and never showed up. No new delivery scheduled and has been sitting there since the 25th.I spoke with customer service and was assured I’d receive it this evening by 9 pm.NO PACKAGE.I would drive 30 min there to go get it myself, but I’d probably hear some BS that it is “out on a truck”
Its so hard to find the entrance and my package was undeliverable because a new driver and it was pet food my animal was all out i was mad
I have sent 4 packages to my moms for mothers day, all of them had to be returned to sender because they were damage.

Item left at the front gate, not at the front door. I have asked UPS to do this on more than two occasions. The front gate is completely visible from the street, the package is bright white and says Amazon prime on it. I dont call that good customer service. I just tried to call them twice it rings once and it hangs up.

Edit: I forgot to mention it was a Saturday during Christmas season, he obviously had other things to do and other people to help, and I was returning a heavy barbeque that shipped in two boxes for which I only had one return label. Thanks again!

The employee was very through in explaining the form to be filled on the computer for shipping the package! He was extremely kind, efficient and friendly.
The guys here are hilarious!! I enjoy very much their banter. Mark is still my favorite even though he wasnt here today.
Dianne was so helpful and patient when helping me handle a complex problem. She was very knowledgeable. I had been on the phone with UPS going in circles and was connected to her. She helped me resolve my issue effortlessly when others were not able to. So grateful for her helpful, accurate advise and expertise.

The worst customer service. The auto lady had no idea what i was talking about. Hung up on me twice. Literally drove to the ups hub i santa Maria to change apackage delivery. Delivery times kept changing.
Customer service seemed good in person. I opted for my package to be held at this facility more than 3-4 business days prior to arriving. I drove 30 min, to Cooley Ln facility and they told me they could not find it. They implied it would be delivered. The main service guy up front told me hed ensure the delivery once the package was located. This never happened. I had to make the second drive. Pretty frustrating considering it was one full case of perishable wine floating around at their facility thats not even temp controlled. I wasted over 2 hours of driving and 30-40 minutes trying to figure this one out. How will my lost time be reimbursed?
This is a one stop customer self service center. This facility has 4 computer terminals for the public to use to prepare shipping labels. You can pickup and drop off package Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm and they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Thrre is also a drop box right outside the front door for drops after hours.
They delivered a PC I ordered to Santa Maria, I live in the five cities. They managed to not pay ANY attention to my address, Zip Code, and PO box, and sent it to a random person in Santa Maria, and they signed for the package! They did not verify ANY INFORMATION, gave my package to the wrong person in an entirely wrong town, and had to open an investigation into the delivery.FedEx delivered a TV I ordered (with the same address and info) and it arrived safe, quickly, and with zero problems, so UPS has no excuse for their horrible service mistakes.The employees I spoke to for customer service were helpful and nice, but the actual service was beyond horrible.

Wrote in the driver instructions to deliver the package to the front office as I knew I wasnt going to be home. Tried my door anyway so of course I have to wait for the next delivery.
Lived here for 3 and a half years. Our driver is friendly and always happy to wave to the kids. Never had a problem with the facility or the driver! Thanks Santa Maria for keeping our packages coming!
This hub is terrible. Or should I say their drivers. I live in Nipomo and they can’t see to deliver my packages to me. This is the 3rd package in 2 weeks delivered somewhere else. Don’t know where this one is. My app says it’s here. NOT HERE. This is happening on a constant basis now. We count in dhipping here. And I live in a react development. I need help.
My package was set to be delivered and it went to the wrong address so it got returned to the facility. I went to the will call as set up with the automated phone call. When I showed up Anthony at the front desk told me it wasnt there, no big deal. He insisted on checking in the back, contacting the driver, and offering to let me come pick it up if it showed up shortly after hours. It turned out that the driver wouldnt be back till late at night. Easily the best coustmer service Ive ever had with shipping facility.
Beyond stressful. Waiting over 15 hours for a package that requires a signature. Package says out for delivery, driver shows up around 3pm, only to drive away after what I can only assume was looking for my package for less than a minute in the back of the truck. I post this at 10:21pm with no further information, aside from a voicemail from a private number telling me its Tyler from UPS, please call back with no return phone number. Two calls to the 1800 number, an email, and tired eyes, I am beyond frustrated, and still have no idea how much longer I will be forced to wait for fear I will have to relive this experience tomorrow if I give up and go to bed.
They are so bad with delivering to businesses. They always seem to drop off my packages elsewhere. It ridiculous and annoying!!!! I hate knowing UPS is going to deliver my packages. FedEx and Ontrack always do their job correctly, I never have to worry when I know they are delivering my packages ... I hope Amazon stop using UPS !!!
The customer center off of Betteravia is weird and creepy. Go to the one in Orcutt near the Albersons.

This JOKE of an establishment is far from established..both TYLER and JESSICA, were the most unhelpful people to talk to. A driver had attempted to deliver a package and somehow couldnt despite my father doing yard work by the gate. Out of sheer laziness, they left a note instead of calling out to him. Not only was this frustrating as I waited THE WHOLE DAY no joke watching the gate, but Jessica told me she would reach out to the driver.I waited for an entire HOUR looking at the clock... phone in hand. I call back, and Tyler is as rude as ever. Luckily he gets ahold of the driver, and now I have to go to the actual store, 2 cities away to get my VERY IMPORTANT package. Absolute incompetence and laziness.. Very rude, and I can absolutely promise. Pinky promise. I will NEVER use this company again. This place deserves something less than 0 stars

They dont accept cash..... I think its absolutely ridiculous that a business in America does not accept legal tender..... Took my package and went to USPS and I dont ever plan to use UPS again.
The UPS drivers in this city are dangerous. They fly down my residential street way too fast and have done nothing since we have reported them (several times). Also a UPS driver with the license plate 75532B2 cut me off on broadway then flipped me off right after. Ive made several complaints in the past so there must be something seriously wrong with management. This UPS in our city is terrible. If it were possible I would give zero stars.
All around a joke I would avoid at all costs especially here. This UPS building is ranked in the top 5 worst managed operations in the whole corporation. They need to better proccess thier employees most of them appear as lazy junkies. Always bringing late or damaged goods ect someone call corporate!

These guys suck! Normally, Ive overlooked the bad multiple bad experiences with UPS in the past: crushed boxes, catching them throwing my packages, and a late delivery. Today however, the package was marked as out for delivery and after waiting past 10 PM for it, I logged onto UPS and noticed that the driver had marked it as first attempt made at 9:52 PM--BS. First of all, they dont have any business delivering that late and secondly the driver, and UPS by extension, was dishonest as I had been waiting for this critical package all evening. From now on, I wont order from a company unless they provide an alternative method to UPS shipping. They are lazy, tasteless, and just a bad show.
At least this current package only took five days to get to me [NV to CA], at right at 6 p.m. after waiting the whole day for it to arrive from its leg today from an 8:45 a.m. start 15 miles away.My last UPS package took 20 days to travel from MD to CA - I thought perhaps the UPS truck had been lost in an overflowing river or some other road disaster.

Paid 40 extra dollars for my package to be here today I called customer service they assured me it would be here and the worst part was that I saw the ups truck deliver a package 7 houses away from my house and i 100 % new they had the package in their because they even contacted UPS and confirmed it, if this company already knows that it cant keep up with its deliveries then hire more seasonal workers seriously Who ever is in charge should really be giving me my 40 dollars back and reevaluate their companies flaws

Would give it a zero star if there was an option. Went to pick up my package and they told me I was unable to pick it up. Than the next delivery date they said I had to come pick it up. Drove more than 15 miles to pick it up as I live outta the county, and they made drive again the next day as they couldnt deliver for some reason
