Came looking for semi-gloss white spray paint and they happen to all the colors except that one. I was a bit disappointed but I settled for something close to it. They do have various selection of everything you’d probably be looking for for your home. The day I went it was pretty slow and checked out at self checkout so it was pretty quick. There was really no interaction with any of the workers this time around.

Typical Lowe’s, great prices and good inventory. Bathrooms are always clean, and garden area is always fresh looking. Usually good sales on tools. Expensive appliances and big ticket items, though. Their staff is ALWAYS on the rude side though, hence the 4 stars. Never friendly, make you feel like a bother if you want a price check or have a question about items in stock- and you have to really look around if you need help. All the older gentleman are always helpful and happy to help, go figure, so if you need help seek out those employees!

Bought a Gas Dryer on 6/8/21, Sale person told me it would be delivered on 7/16. I am still waiting Each time I call they can not give me any new information. Once I waited in Customer Service line for 30min just for them to tell me they dont have any new information. This store seems to be very low on staff and hard to find someone that cant help. I did get a good deal on unit and thats why I have canceled yet.8/8 Dryer was delvered the day after I called the 1-800 number.

Lowes is great. It is a new store here so it is big. They have a huge variety of stuff from tools to gardening supplies and everything to fix your house or build anything. The staff there are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. I really love this store.

Cant express how happy I am with this Lowes here in Santa Maria! The staff are so friendly and helpful every time I go there. The woman who works the paint department is so nice; every time I get paint there (as I have for numerous projects around the house) she goes above and beyond to make my paint quickly, give good recommendations, and get the items high up on shelves I cant reach. Shes amazing! Also, the guys in the wood department are so patient. Last time I was there, I needed some chair rail cut into like 10 pieces. The guy was nice the whole time and really did his best to get the measurement right to the mm. I always find what Im looking for here at a great price, and I would recommend this Lowes for almost anything hardware-store related.

If you are planning to build your own closet shelves and need help because you dont know or kind-of know what youre doing, definitely go to Lowes and ask for Memo! Memo is helpful and knowledgeable. He will give you advise and recommendations regarding the items that could/will work the best for your project while keeping in mind your wallet $. I truly appreciate all his help today!

My experience today at Lowes was fabulous! Why? I ordered what I wanted for curbside delivery and it went flawlessly. Yep. Flawless! Within an hour and a half after ordering online I was emailed that to come pick up my order. I drove to the store in Santa Maria on Betteravia, followed the signs to curbside pickup up directly in front of the store and dialed the number posted. KEVIN from the service booth answered my call, I gave him my order number (it was in my email) and popped the trunk of my car. My ID was verified, and KEVIN loaded my purchased items with courtesy and a smile. KEVIN made me feel like I deserved GREAT SERVICE and a flawless experience at Lowes TY!

I always use curbside pick up. Lowes is faster than Home Depot. They also do curbside for lumber and paint, Home Depot does not.

I would like to publicly thank Jose from the delivery department who made my experience pleasurable. I often am disappointed in customer service at businesses, simply because many individuals (in my experience) dont attempt to think outside of the box. I spoke with Jose and explained that I was looking to have our delivery earlier than later due to contractor availability. He told me that he would make an attempt by explaining this to the delivery person, though their route was scheduled out for their ease. Nevertheless they would contact me. I received a call 8 am the next morning from the driver who reiterated my request and let me know that he would be arriving at the earlier timeframe requested.A little effort goes a long way. Heres a customer who is grateful for Joses assistance! And thanks to driver Mike as well, you two make a great team!

Bought a washer it was to be delivered on Sunday morning and nothing received a call saying truck broke down and won’t be delivered until tomorrow and now they said we weren’t home!! Horrible delivery truck service!!! Called the truck service and Very rude personnel service!!

Bad service workers doing the concrere block sales dont know what they are doing took 4 people and still they got the order wrong including prices when i went to customer service to have error corrected they couldnt help me either because all receipts had different size concrete block and prices all we asked for was 6 x 8 x 8 they have it at $1.13 got charged $1.18 we are doing a concrete wall 1st receipt they put 8x8x16 by mistake i did get credit but, my receipt was not corrected then 2nd round of 6 x 8 x 8 they put 6-8-16 that one had right price wrong size so because of all their mistakes i could not get credit for my last order. forgot to mention when we first got there our contractor let them know he needed 4 pallets of 6 x 8 x 8 they right away without checking told him they did not have any. and our contractor told that guy to call someone who knew because they did have them not only outside but inside the store and proceeded to show him where they were. so anyways because of all their mistakes I am out of money they over charged me dont even deserve a one Star but I had to put it so I could post it (Isabel)

Went in for potting soil and ended up finding beautiful plants. Great variety.

I am a regular customer at this store, and like their selection of home improvement material. However, I had terrible experience with the kitchen cabinet staff. I called several (10+) on Friday midafternoon to try and get an appointment for a kitchen remodel. Nobody picked up. I called again on Saturday and when nobody pickup I talked to the customer service who said Mary is in and they forwarded my call to her, again to no avail. I called again on Monday and left a note for Mary with the customer service to call me back to set an appointment. Nothing happened. I drove 25 minutes to the store on Tuesday afternoon and Mary (or anyone) was not there, so a guy from the appliance department left a note for her with my info. You guessed it, nothing happens. After several attempts on Wednesday to rich Mary, around 2 pm she picked up. I started by telling her I left her two messages so she hangs up on me without saying a word. Rudest person ever. I dont know how they hire such people to serve customers.I went to the Paso Lowes and placed my 22K Schuler kitchen cabinet order there. Received best customer service ever from Mark.

My trip was awesome! I needed plants but didnt have a clue as to what to purchase. A very nice associate named Mike assisted me in the nursery dept. at Lowes in Santa Maria. He took the time to really understand what I needed, and totally cared about which flowers and plants would do well in which areas of my yard and garden. It was GREAT! My husband and I were sooo impressed with his expertise and knowledge! We bought flowers, fertilizer, mulch and much more...I cant wait to get out tomorrow and treat my neighbors to the beautiful flowers Mike helped us to purchase!!! A BiG shout out to Jim also, extremely nice man who, even though yall were closing, took the time to be kind and helpful when we were checking out. AWESOME EXPERIENCE 👍 THANK YOU 🤗

What are the best places to spend an afternoon, theres something in there for everybody in the family. Nothing like a little window shopping.

Better customer service with flooring department. There was a Sales person named Justin who was amazing. I told him my measurements of what I was doing and he was able to tell me what I needed and how much of each item. I laughed with amazement and asked him what did he do before this job. He told me and I left that store knowing I bought everything I needed. So if your working on your home ask for Justin, he was great!

Not impressed at all with the garden section and the staff associates working the register not very welcoming or friendly at check out. Selection of plants over priced and not much to pick from. Home depot by far surpasses Lowes.

Friendly staff, good selection of products, and I live that it isnt the same as the box brand store across the way. It has a much more homy feel than bug orange does..

The curb-side pickup process does not work. When you finally give up and go inside, the customer service desk is under-staffed, so expect a long wait time. I stood in line for 40 minutes to pickup my online order.In my experience, Lowes has a lot of employees wandering around, but they under staff the checkout stands and service desks. Ultimately, the service delivery per employee is equal-to or less than Home Depot.

The worst customer service at this location, I’ve spent more than $5k on purchase over the last 4months. I tried to return about 4 items. Jennifer the the store manager would not override the 90day return. Stated that there was no way to override the system to accept it. You know that’s a bunch of bs. She would not even approve a store credit. Drove across the street to Home Depot and spent $ 1400. On tools I was going to buy at Lowe’s

Went to Lowes for a new washer and dryer for home delivery and installation. The washer was available, but the dryer was at the warehouse and would need to be shipped to the store before delivery could be arranged. Left the store satisfied with the service we received.I called back later that afternoon to ask a question of the sales associate. He was with another customer, so the associate on the phone took a message so that I could receive a call back. Its been 3 weeks, havent heard from the store or the associate.I have called every week requesting an order update. Every time I get a non-answer of the order is with our distribution center for fulfillment, it should be 7-10 days before we get an update.They charged my card, gave me an estimate of delivery time, and then keep not having any answer when I call for a status update. Id rather have a single its going to take 6-8 weeks until we can arrange for delivery than a continuous stream of dont know, sorry. Do you mean to tell me that there is NO communication between a store and their distribution center regarding active orders? You cant tell if a product is on backorder when a client is trying to make a purchase, then tell them UP FRONT that there are substantial delays due to C19? I understand the delay, but to leave that information out before the purchase is made is unconscionable.Get me my appliances, or give me my money back. I will not accept another we dont know where it is or how long it will be.

I have always been a Home Depot guy until the last year. Tried Lowes about 6 months ago and will never go back to HD. Staffing and customer assistance is better (night and day) compared to HD. I am now team Lowes!!

Placed a curbside pickup and waited for 20 minutes, no one ever showed up. Called the curbside pickup phone number, no one answered. Walked into the store to customer service, there were no customers. Spoke to the Zach in Customer Service who apparently hadn’t checked his system and had no idea I was outside waiting. Horrible service. Will never use curbside pick up again!

Purchased a AC unit. Gave as a gift, girl I gave it to couldnt install it and gave it back unopened but without receipt. I took it back to Lowes and they opened it for the first time. Knew it was. Purchased at lowes by store numbers. They told be no reciept no cash back only store credit. I said ok. Then after opening and inspection finding undamaged told me they would not give me store credit either. I have it still in the spare room. Unused . I will. NEVER SPEND A DIME AT LOWES AGAIN THE REST OF MY LIFE!

The web site and the store inventory often do not match up. You might check at home to see if what you need is in stock, drive across town, spend 30 minutes asking this associate and that associate and never find what youre looking for.Dont even think of ordering anything online for pickup there at the service desk. Ive tried this three times now with varying degrees of failure on their part each time. The last time I checked inventory of their store online first and then ordered for pickup seeing that the majority of my order was in stock and would be ready to pickup soon. Then receive an email saying its delayed. Then finally receive the order to pickup the stuff. Drive there and one third of my order was ready to go. People look all over the store for the other bits and pieces of my order for over 30 minutes and finally send me on my way.If ordering online definitely opt to have it delivered to your home no matter how much longer that is supposed to take. Pickup will take just as long and theyll find ways to annoy you to the point where you just have to storm home and write some silly review.The people at the service desk including Gabe seem fine, but they need to bail on this sinking ship of a store.

Great customer help finding my items.

I went to Lowes to get two specific items, both of which I consider to be the best available products of their type. The first is Fiber Fix Total Repair -- sort of a distant cousin of super glue Its a cyanoacrylate glue that looks much like super glue, but its curred by UV light. Its one of the most effective glues Ive ever used (ranks up there with JB Weld). The other is Terro ant killer, which is a clear gel that comes in a small plastic bottle. Terro is really the only effective ant bait Ive ever used (in Southern California & on the central CA coast). The first wasnt carried by Lowes; the second appeared to be out of stock. I walked over to Home Depot and found both. I was quite disappointed with Lowes.

CAUTION, do not expect a clear line of communication from Lowes regarding your appliance purchases.Bought a fridge the first week of July and sales guy stated they had some in their warehouse. Received a call and text the day prior to delivery to confirm delivery. Moved plans around to ensure someone is home but the fridge nevered showed up. Called the store and they stated that it was rescheduled to August 14, without any notification. Went to the store and they stated LG did not released them and have to wait until August 14th. I called on the 13th since there was not communication from Lowes and they said that I had to wait until the end of September. Returned the fridge and bought one at Best Buy.I understand that COVID has changed various aspects of our supply. My biggest gripe is that I had to move plans around due to their lack of communication.Please beware!

Bill was very courteous and knowledgeable in assisting my wife and I with the specific washing machine we required. We purchased it on the spot, it will be delivered sometime tomorrow. Thank you very much for his professionalism.
