Had my daughters vehicle inspection done here and they were awesome 👍. Wanted to make sure we were putting our daughter in a safe reliable car before purchasing through a private sale and they went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone at the Big Brand Tire and Service Santa Maria 👍👍Ok, so I guess I reviewed just over a week ago, I am now going to have to edit my review. I thought you guys did a great job inspecting my daughters car before we purchased. You guys confirmed everything was good. Well since we purchased the car weve had to put in a new alternator and starter... We are still having issues with the car not starting....I thought this would all be inspected? Im not as happy as I thought, as my daughter had to put in almost a grand into this car that we were told was in great condition. Also the air conditioner isnt working... What the heck!! Im super unsatisfied with the inspection.

I made an appointment to change the brake pads on my car and it took them five hours to get the job done. The parts they ordered went to the wrong shop and the guy said it was “miscommunication”. I was told by the guy at the front desk that the rear axle does not need anything but the brake pads and the rotors need to be replaced for the front axle. When I spoke with the mechanic he told me the exact opposite, the front is fine but the rear needed to be replaced. When I asked the guy at the front desk he again said “it was miscommunication”. Don’t waste your time and money here, go somewhere else.

Installed 4 TPMS sensors broke one of my wheels and dont have scan tool to relearn sensors so have to go somewhere else for relearn

Was able to get my tire patched when I brought it in excellent customer service and got my car back perfectly fine meaning no damage was done while being worked on.

They have excellent customer service. I brought in my 2017 Ford Raptor to have some wheels and tires put on and ended up joking around with the staff. 10/10 would recommend.

As a military veteran Ive always been taken care of when I go here for my vehicle service. The people that work there are always polite and make me feel welcome. Great team of individuals that work there.

Customer service is horrible. We had an appt for Sunday, we get there and the employee was very rude and said he didnt think they would be able to get to my car that day because no one wanted to work on a Sunday. I understand short staff days, but common courtesy would be to call and ask if I could reschedule, not tell me once I got there. We can back the next day with a new appt and still wasnt impresses. I bought a fundraiser that has 2 oil changes, so unfortunately I probably will come back 1 more time. They used to be way more customer service oriented

Great service from the initial phone call to the store staff to the mechanic who replaced our brake pads and rotors. We were on our last day of vacation and had experienced minor periodic brake wear squeal for two days. It suddenly started squealing everyone time we touched the brakes. Called at 1pm and asked if they could take us. The corp ofc said the location near us was booked but the next location 30 mins away could take us at 2:30pm. We drove there and they had us out by 3:56pm! Special Kudos to the mechanic, Don, for making an accommodation for us to allow us to get home that evening!

Had appointment and still waited 1.5 hours after which time I left. Went to Americas Tire and they took care of my issue in 10 minutes.Stay away from Big Brand unless you have 2-3 hours to waste!

Wow!! What a wonderful experience. I had a flat tire. Friday, in the afternoon I contacted Big Brand. They set an appointment within an hours time. I drive in and they took care of everything. They have Covid protections in place.. They are courteous and professional. No wonder their Store was so busy. Most of all they did not pressure me to buy anything, and charged me nothing.

Had an appointment for a simple oil change at 1:30 didnt get out of there till 10 minutes to 4:00 told over the phone that it was going to be $60 when I got there they said it was 109 then I told him it was a regular oil change and got it back down to 55 appeared there 2 days before the appointment for air in the tire they put 52 lb of air in each tire when its supposed to take 35

Scheduled tires and an alignment 4 days ahead of time. I show up for my appointment and Im told my car cant be aligned (Tesla M3) Service advisor said that I called in to the call center and theres no way for them to know what they can and cant do at the store. I called the local number, and spoke to whoever answered. Its not my problem to ask who it is and where. My options were to get tires now and alignment at a later date. Im not putting new tires on a car that I know needs alignment. Really disappointed! Needless to say you lost my business to a competitor.

Service was rude, stripped lug nuts said you need new ones. Never called to say they were having any issues. . .

The guys at Big Brand Tires are great! Very pleasant and professional every time I bring my cars in for tires or service. In my experience, theyve always been good to their word with fixing, repairing, and having my car ready when they say it will be ready. They communicate well by calling you if there are any changes to their estimates. Nothing unexpected here and I really appreciate that! These guys are great! I stopped in Santa Maria just for gas and realized I had a huge nail piercing thru my tire. (Hense the tire pressure light on my dash that had BEEN on which I ignored....I know I know)I had 2 stay the night and walked 3 blocks to Big Brand Tires. The manager Carlos went way out of his way and had one of his employees drive me back to my car to get my flat tire. I couldnt drive my car there it was THAT bad.Back at the shop he changed my tire right away, drove me back to my car, put it on and I was on my way. Pretty sure they let me jump a few spots in line too.Its companies like this that go out of their way to extend that extra help that turns a one time sale into a future lifetime customer.

Was really impressed with how theyve handled social distancing parameters with COVID-19. From standing in line 6 feet apart, approaching the counter with a table between the technician and customers, to receiving the estimate via mobile and even paying with my phone, the experience was great. Whats the point of scheduling an appointment weeks in advance, if they are going to take so long to help you. then you drop off your car early in the morning and never hear the status on when your car will be ready for a simple routine service. Then after your 3rd or 4th time trying to get a hold of them they keep saying its almost ready and when you call right before the shop closes they say its just been sitting in the parking lot for hours.

Needed oil change and they were able to fit me into their already booked schedule. MUCH APPRECIATED! Service was quick, and they were helpful in deciding the right tires to purchase for another time. Definitely will go back!

I had a bad experience with BB in Arroyo grande. However BB Santa Maria is probably my top pick. They have great technicians and give great quality. I am very picky and needed an alignment and tire balancing, they left everything perfect. My guys to go to are Don and Alfie. They are the best.

It was really easy to order tires over the phone. Staff members were able to find my exact tire size and give me a great deal. I had to order tires because my tire size isnt very common, but they arrived within 2 days. The service was prompt and completed within an hour of my arrival. To top off my experience everyone was friendly and smiling! I will absolutely return for my next tire service!

My sister and I brought our cars in to get serviced and the customer service was great! Carlos and Alex took great care of us. Our oil was changed quickly, and although there was a problem with the oil leaking, it was addressed promptly and Carlos made it right by compensating us for the inconvenience which was much appreciated. Well continue to take our cars here because the customer service is unmatched! This place has helpful, good looking workers who won’t try to take advantage of you if you don’t know much about cars.

Pricey but they take care of your needs. Find the neighborhood guy who will give you more for your money. Said they rotated the tires but no they didnt. Ill just have to make sure they rotate next time and check tire pressure.

I have been going to B.B.T. for years and always have a good experience! I was shuttled to work in the morning by a young man who was very nice and friendly (sorry forgot your name) just over a week ago while my car was getting serviced. I was helped by Steven R., he answered questions I had regarding my car and he was very kind and helpful. The Manager Carlos C. helped me look at my options for payment as I am working with a budget and he was very patient and understanding. The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is because my first time wasn’t that great. It honestly depends on who you ask to do the job. Therefore, if you ask for the right person then you should get a 10/10. I went to the Santa Maria BB and the two techs I highly recommend are an older guy, Don, and another guy named Alfy.

Carlos was right on top of things, always helpful and professional, nice to see someone like him. Javier was great also, first time I met him. Will be back.
