The property was perfect. Plenty of room well designed. Great neighborhood close to many places that were important to usTwo issues came up that were handled immediately one needed light bulbs. The other the tv would not work. Both resolved immediatelyO yes one more. Thought the coffee maker wasn’t working properly. Within an hour Elaine was at the house with a new coffee pot. She is incredible. A real assetWe renewed while there for 3 months the next year and are traveling there this evening

It was my second trip to NM for a very special wedding. At first I wanted to get a hotel room for my stay. But since I was going there with some friends someone recommended checking out Adobe Destinations and see if they had something to offer. I was in contact with Marilyn Proctor, and she found us an incredible house just a few blocks from the venue.Marilyn was very patient with us as we asked her a ton of questions and she was also very accommodating. We needed to rent a house in Santa Fe in August. We were looking on line for a place. We went through at least 50 properties.A house in South Capital came on the radar screen. We talked to Marilyn at Adobe Destinations. We rented it from the pictures on her website. What isnt shown is the attention to detail. Whatever you need it is in the drawers and it WORKS! This is not the case in a lot of rental property.Rent from them if you are in Santa Fe so you can concentrate on having fun everything else is taken care of.

This was absolutely worst travel experience I have had!! I took my 89 year old father on a trip to Santa Fe earlier this month. We paid over $3000 for a 3 bedroom house that turned out to be a maintenance nightmare. When I arrived to pick up the keys I was told I may want to drop off my luggage until issue with home alarm could be resolved which was hours later when owner called company to turn it off. From a repair man telling my father to hide the alarm box until it could be shut off, to waiting 3 days for cable in main living room to be fixed, to no central heating, to outlets malfunctioning in kitchen to property management owner rationalizing maintenance issues as my having to deal with such things at home...it was a complete nightmare. She never returned my call and hid behind her staff because she was in and out and apparently too busy to contact me. She decided to credit us with one night stay. $297 handle compensates for a vacation that turned into a maintenance nughtmare. Only bright spot was Elaine who empathized with my plight. She should own the company.

Marilyn Proctor is simply the best. We have used Marilyn for the last 30 years. And she never disappoints. She is timely, she is professional, she is consistent, and she always leaves us feeling satisfied. Her houses are the absolute best in Santa Fe!

Marilyn Proctor owns the agency Adobe Destinations which rents out homes around Santa Fe. My experience with her was poor when we rented the El Corazon apartment in the Fairmont Heritage hotel last October 2015. Once you book the room and pay her, the customer service ends there. From then on, she will be calling and emailing you to get out by 10am on the departure day. When we arrived at 2am from New York, we couldnt get immediate access to the unit because the garage cards didnt work and the front gate was locked. When I called her emergency number, she seemed annoyed that I called and after making me try a few more times with the same cards, told me that there was nothing she could do. Meanwhile, I had an exhausted 2 year old waiting in the car while I was out in the cold trying the cards again and again. When we finally got into the unit, the fireplace wasnt working and there were ants everywhere. She told me to try and call the hotel. The hotel then told me that Adobe Destinations is responsible for that particular unit since the owner took the agency away from them. Marilyn took ages to get back to me and instead kept reminding me that I had to be out of there promptly by 9am on departure day. If you really want to rent a place in Santa Fe, I would avoid Marilyn and her Adobe Destinations agency. Once she takes your money, youre on your own!

Adobe Destinations/Marilyn Proctor is the premier property management company when it comes to finding a place to stay in Santa Fe. My fiancé and I were there for a friends wedding and could not be happier with the house she found for us. The casita at Las Brisas was immaculate and walking distance to the Plaza/attractions. Marilyn and her staff were always there for us when we had any questions or concerns. Well definitely be calling Marilyn again the next time were in Santa Fe.
