I purchased 2 chainsaws from you guys in March 2021 and recently I called and asked if you can adjust my saws because they bog down when revving it and when I set them down to get another log to block they turn off on me. All my saws needed was a simple adjustment and you told me you cant work on it because you have a backlog of 5 weeks for working on the power equipment. When I purchased this saw I fell for the gimmick of purchasing Stihl ready mixed fuel for the extended warranty and for what a backlog.DONT WAST YOUR TIME WITH THESE GUYS. BUY STIHL FROM BTU IN LAS VEGAS NM THERE THEY HAVE A WORKER THAT ADJUSTED MY SAW IN 5-10 MINUTES BY THE NAME OF BENJY, HE IS REPUTABLE GO THERE INSTEAD
Went in yesterday at 4:45. The guy saw me coming and immediately pulled out his phone to check the time, because Of his attitude he Im sure wanted to go home and tell me they were closed. I had 2 chainsaws that needed repaired, one we bought there as well as 3 other Stihl equipment. He was rude and unhelpful. One chain saw he wouldnt consider working on and the one I bought from them would be 5 weeks and he wanted a deposit without even looking at it. He had absolutely no customer service and was almost begging me to take my saws elsewhere. So I did. I have dealt with small engine repair shops in Colorado for 30 yrs, and I have never had them tell me more than a week, even in the middle of summer. They are expensive and have horrible customer service, I would look elsewhere for your Stihl products!Response to owner: That is not Accurate. He pulled the phone out his pocket when I was pulling up. I did not say they were sitting for a long time. I said I just moved here and that the fuel in the fuel tank was True fuel. He didnt even take the time to ask me if there had been ethanol used in them. Last, that chain saw is almost brand new and shouldnt need parts. Why assume you need parts when maybe a carburetor clean and adjustment may do the trick.

Staff and customers not wearing masks. Clearly their political statement is more important than showing good faith to this community. (They can afford to lose some customers because theyre overcharging the rest of you)

I’ve been coming to this store for many years. The staff has always been polite and helpful. Bryce took the time to talk to me about some equipment I was in the market for and help me get the right piece of equipment for the job I was going to use it for. Couldn’t ask for better service or nicer people. Highly recommend Santa Fe power equipment.

Bryce isn’t what a lot of the comments describe him as. He and his female counterpart were very condescending. We walked into the store and you could feel the dislike to indigenous people. Maybe I should have went in yesterday. He did not treat the other customers in the store he did us. They say to shop local... I would rather order things online so it’s not such a hassle for Bryce and his employees. Might even save some money since everything in there was over priced.

I took my chain saw to Santa Fe Power Equipment for service because it wouldnt start and bar oil had not been flowing properly. It was fixed within two days and now is functioning perfectly. The technician documented what he did and explained his work completely. My saw is not Stihl but my next one will be and I will buy it here.
This used to be a superb service and sales center with unparalleled service. The owner retired recently and the new owner has a very different attitude. He is intensely sales oriented. If you come in with an older piece of equipment, he will tell you immediately that you need a new one. He isnt particularly passionate about what he sells and wont take time with customers. The former owner really educated his customers and was so honest and trustworthy. I no longer trust this store to do my business repairs because of this attitude. They only want to sell, not maintain, it seems. I am driving to Bernalillo now instead where I can get the kind of honesty I used to get from this store.

Worst service and customer service! I took a lawn mower in to be serviced. Got it back with a bill for $178.15, it ran for 20 minutes, quit working, and was leaking gas. Brought it back and they replaced the carburetor for $106 and said I put dirty fuel in it. The only fuel in it was the fuel they put in the previous visit and charged me $2.50 for. Then I asked what the lawn mower was worth, and they said $100. I got no response when I asked if they recommend putting almost $300 into a $100 lawn mower. These guys are rude, poor mechanics, and crooks. Do NOT take your equipment there.
These guys are great! I bought a chainsaw and tiller from them. The chainsaw needed some maintenance and they did a great job at a fair price. After working on an MTL tiller for several years and going through the Chinese parts routine, I bought a Stihl tiller. Frustration level went to zero. For me this is the most cost effective route.

Asked to have chain saw tuned, whenI picked it up they said it wouldnt start and the pull rope was broken, just get a new one. I took it outside and started it. Lazy, just wanted to sell a new chain saw.

I took my tiller over there. An the Santa Fe power equipment fixed it.
Took my lawn mower and my tamper there to be serviced and both came with the same problems took both back and got a lot of attitude about both I will never go back there again I could of bought a new mower for what they have charged me the first time
Rude and unpleasant staff
I took my generator in to be fixed and the only thing I needed to be done was to put a new pull string on and replace my battery. They took it in stating that they could do so. They charged $130 and refused to do the battery!! THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBERRY !!! Unfriendly service
