Overall very happy with cruzios internet service. Thankful to have people like Ian, who is willing to spent the time to graciously explain / walk me through set up of a new device.

Just switched over and loving the wireless pro service. Since fiber seems a distant dream, I thought Id go local and so far so good! The install (and installers) were top notch, and Jesus has been awesome with my questions before/after. Im loving this local privacy conscious no cap company!!!*Update:* Sometimes youll hear the honeymoon first review, and then nothing else. Well, here is something else! I had some trouble with speed. It was intermittent and could have been maddening if it werent for their support staff. David was awesome. It always felt like he and the rest of Cruzio cared and took the issue seriously. We worked together through the problem, he kept me informed on what they were looking into, and their talented team found the issue and replaced a piece of defective equipment and brought me up to full speed. Thanks Cruzio!

Basic Internet services at a good price. If you get wire line service the wires will still be owned by AT&T, so it will cost extra when things go wrong with the wires, which is not unusual in the older parts of Santa Cruz. Better service for business customers. They can get fiber, so no problem.

Its what I call WAVE internet. It comes in waves, sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes you get the boot. Then abruptly the net will randomly turn off, no email, no alert, nothing. Just no service, until when ever it turns back on. Really unreliable if your trying to run a home business that requires you have stable connection. It makes for good help when they close at 2pm on saturday and only respond on week days. You can contact the support team, but that itself takes time and you lose hours if not more of your day, for a technical issue, you can not control. Making the switch back to comcast by the end of the week. Thanks but no thanks.

Well, they were great to get internet service installed and working at 100 mbps for first few months, but now for last few months crawling along between 7-20 mbps and support has no real answers. New service and customer support appear to be 2 different teams and the latter is seriously lacking. Theyve said that equipment is line for upgrade (for months now), but dont bother sending someone to fix what is clearly a repair (IT WORKED BEFORE) or any commitment on when itll go back to the 100 mbps I signed up for. Ill remove this post it they ever just take a little time and effort to fix the issue instead of the typical customer service run-around.

The only benefit of Cruzio over ATT is that Cruzio isn’t ATT. Right now, we have no internet service but there’s no tech support available because it’s after 6:00 pm. So we’ll be without WiFi until tomorrow, when we still won’t get service because Cruzio shuts down twice a week for a staff meeting. And there’s no support on Sundays, with only a few hours on Saturday. Cruzio likes to taut it’s community roots and service, but their limited tech support doesn’t seem like much service to me. Cruzio needs to start giving back to the community, starting with real service.

I decided to take the plunge and switch from my DSL to the Cruzio Fiber internet service.July 15 - 17, 2019: To achieve this I spoke in person with customer service at the Cruzio building, met the on-site installation crew and spoke with someone from the the billing department.Everyone was awesome, answered my myriad questions and made the process pretty painless. And now I have fiber internet in my home at speeds faster than I can even think 🤘😎

I use Cruzio for my home and business. They are very easy to deal with. When I call them for help, I talk to a live person right away, no getting stuck in an automated call center.

Sorry to say that after years of being able to rely on them to tell us honestly about their internet speed in this neighborhood, we made the mistake of believing them when they said the speed would now be adequate. After an expensive and time-consuming installation (where they neglected to notify us when the switchover happened), it took just one youtube video to see that the speed was completely unacceptable. It was nice to get the apologies from the earnest staff members but a refund of the installation and/or the monthly service would have been more meaningful.

I really wanted to support a local telecom provider, instead of the big monopolies, but the overall product at Cruzio was very poor, expensive, and I got contradictory responses at different times. The 2 stars are for their home tech guys who were very professional and helpful. Im now back to Comcast and sadly its much better quality and cheaper. I wasted a bunch of money with Cruzio which is lame. Hopefully they can up their game, but right now I cant recommend them.

Our website server seems to go offline multiple times per day, effectively making our organization invisible. Looking into changing our hosting company to something a little more professional.

I want to write a favorable review - but this is Honest. I was a customer for about 7 years - paying on time. When I moved I cancelled the account and was billed for service Not used! Word to the wise - use Cruzio if you like SLOW internet speeds and unethical billing customer service (they like to Blame the customer for lack of transparency and bad communication). If you use Cruzio - Watch your bills like a Hawk. They over bill...If there is a dispute, the billing department will threaten sending your account to collection agencies in violation of terms of service. Caveat Emptor. Pay using a credit card and charge back any charges not explained or fraudulent. Let Cruzio pay bank fees until they understand a customer is not always wrong!

Cruzio is stellar: both as an Internet Service Provider and as a colo office space. The staff is super friendly, the internet is always fast and since working there Ive yet to experience down time. The space is also well-lit, very open and plays host to many talented professionals who enjoy networking.

I really want to like and support local business, BUT...every time I call customer service the rep acts like Im bothering them. Im always rushed through my questions and hurried to get off the phone. Plus, I find it rude at the end of our conversation the rep simply hangs up and does not say good bye.
