They evacuated and charged my new AC system. I installed a Vintage Air AC system into my old truck, and these guys put the magic inside for me. It blows so cold now! Night drop-off made the process so much easier for me. Filled out info on an envelope and dropped my keys it their door. Work completed next day. Perfect.

Dishonest and rude experience. My car air conditioner went out so I went in to get it checked out. He hooked it up to his equipment and within 2 minutes told me the compressor had a crack or hole because he couldnt pressurize it. This meant I needed a whole new a/c. He charged me the $48 diagnostic fee but it didnt bother me because I was told it would be applied towards any related repairs I did there. I was told the out the door cost for parts and labor would be $850 to replace the a/c and recharge the system. I prefer to buy my own parts so I can ensure I get the best price and warranty so I asked how much it would cost if I provided my own a/c. I was told $250 plus refrigerant. I came back a few days later with my own a/c and had them install it. When it came time to pay I was charged about $60 more than what I was quoted. I asked (who apparently is the owner) Did you apply the $48 towards my invoice? To which he replied No, you didnt do the job with us. Hmmm....Im not sure what his definition of job so I asked what? He said you bought your own parts so it doesnt count. Sure buddy, no problem. I hope the $48 was worth the review you just got. Keep the change, youll never get my business again.

I took my van these jerks on Friday the 6th 2018, my AC works ok, but I asked for an estimate to replace a hose. He calls me a couple hours later, tells me I need new hoses, new compressor, basically a whole new system. 1154$I said I didn’t have money to spend like that. Then he says “You can take your chances” and to do the hose it would be 469$. I said that a lot for a hose and offered to pay him for the estimate. 48$I go and pick up the van. The AC does not work at all. I come back and I tell the assistant it doesn’t work now and it did when I brought it here 2 hours ago.I took my van to another shop, they put the gauges on my AC- BONE DRY. The guy at SCV auto air stole my freon.StoleMyFreonI go back to SCV on Monday, the guy is back. He told me that he took my freon out “so it wouldn’t leak.”Whiskey Tango FoxtrotWhen he was caught, he offered to put it back. I said it was too late for that. He then offered my money back.

Also wont go back. Reconnected my alarm system backwards and I had to pay another mechanic to fix it. The new mechanic confirmed that it was installed incorrectly. Also not very honest about repair work done. Very disappointed as we just moved into the area and were looking for an honest repairman.

Had Compressor replaced a few years ago on older Durango, work was done professionally and a very fair price. I typically use another shop for general repair but this is the only shop I will take my AC work to.
