The speakers are amazingly knowledgeable, kind and willing to help. I have booked appointments with for business and law consultation, immensely helpful. Rare to have such warmed-hearted genuine help from experts for free. very thankful indeed.

SCORE brings professionals from different life backgrounds and avenues, which basically narrows down to what really matters, how to grow your business idea based on experience. We had an incredible consultation with two mentors, Naval and Nadera, who added so much knowledge to our business plan preparation. Dont hesitate doing a mentoring session. If you have a business you are planning to scale to hundreds of new leads a day, SCORE is a good fit. If you are an artist trying to get large commissions (and realistically, each one will take at least a week to complete) dont waste your time.

SCORE Mentors of the Silicon Valley has helped me in the past gain guidance and direction with my business practices. They have hosted webinars and I have been able to attend one so far and it was very informative. The admin spoke about gaining funding and all the facets of bank applications, different government programs, and partnerships as well as crowd funding. They provided a page full of links for crowd funding. Also, a pro tip was to have multiple financial plans prior to applying! Great stuff! Thanks so much!

Huge set of different aspects for grant writing are covered

I went to a Social Media Marketing Workshop at SCORE. The instructor was Tracey Lee Davis and she was fantastic. She is knowledgable. I highly recommend this workshop for small business owners or nonprofits that are looking to start marketing on social media. It is definitely a beginner course that gives the pros and cons of each platform and how to maximize your reach in each one. I am curious about the Email Marketing Workshop that is coming up so hopefully I will go to that one next.

Great place to learn if you want to start your own business or setup a social media. Lessons range from introduction to basic. You wont learn hands on, but may take a few good things that may help flourish your business.

I found the expertise of the mentors was invaluable. I was able to bounce ideas off of them and confirm that my approach was in the ball park. They also were able to provide insight on a couple of issues I had overlooked. I can not say enough about the value of this resource for new business startups. GOOD JOB SCORE.
