We had a great experience recently with the sales department at this Subaru dealer but the service department is extremely overwhelmed. Subaru has proprietary technology so when you have glass replaced the sensor system (EyeSight) has to be recalibrated by the dealership. This is a 4 hour process or so depending on the technician. They kept our car for three days. It was okay because we had a loaner, but it was odd. Then today I had scheduled a 24 point inspection so that we could sell our older vehicle. The scheduler wanted to make the appointment for 10am, I suggested 9:30, they agreed. I was told the inspection was fast and the car should be ready by the early afternoon. I asked if I could have a loaner vehicle (based on the prior experience with repair taking much longer than quoted), and they checked and said yes, there was a loaner available. When I arrived at 9:30 I was told the last loaner had just been given away and they would need to keep the car all day. I had to turn around and come back since I certainly could not wait all day and had no other way to get home.The service department has some complex relationships with other services -- the person I spoke to blamed some kind of Nissan scheduling for not giving me accurate information (I called and spoke to Subaru, unless somehow I was deceived about who I was talking to). But bottom line, something about their processes makes them extremely disrespectful of schedules, which in our case is very difficult while balancing childcare for two small children and two full time jobs. We will not be returning to the dealership or the service department here.
This is a good place to get small and quick parts. They do need to work on their customer serivce over the phone.

Came here on March 2020 to replace the recalled airbags, but then they broke the lug nut and of course it was for free. I was like “I just need the airbags changed, please don’t do anything else to my car.” I spent thousand of dollars fixing the broken lug nut somewhere else. And still haven’t had the airbag changed. Very disappointed. Never come back here to do anything or even purchase a new car.
I had great experience at Steven creek Subaru until last time. Their service department seems reorganized and charged absurd price with impatient attitude if you question anything. Will change to other dealers for the service

They do a great job with service, but the costs are absurd. Charging 1300 dollars for a routine 60k mile maintenance seems pretty steep to me. Ive also found that my certified pre-owned warranty doesnt cover very much in reality. All in all, my experience with Subaru as a company has been... meh. I do like my vehicle though.
I tried for 3 days to get a hold of service. No call back, and they are unavailable ALWAYS. So much for my $2,500 service agreement.
I cant believe this Subaru service is so terrible. I even regret that I bought my outback at here. I made appointment for 11:15am, but nobody didnt take care of me until 12 clock. Even no appointment is ahead of me. Totally mesh.More terrible thing is the price of auto parts is at will. One fat old guy told me one tire is $220, but another young guy stated only less than 160 for the same tire. Eventually, the manager offered me the later. If I didnt ask the price again, I must get fraud.
First time I came in was quoted a max price. Received a voicemail to confirm service was finished and that since the investigation to my ac issue was less than initial estimate the price was reduced. Came in next morning to pick up and was forced to pay the initial estimate even when replaying the voice mail their service advisor placed.Second chance I brought car for regular service check. Quoted for 2-3 hours service. Around 2.5 hours in I walk out my car is parked and blocked in by 3 cars, 3 hours in my car hasn’t moved and no word. 4 hours in I get the update that things were complete. My car hadn’t moved, was pretty evident that the service was done a while back and my advisor had taken his lunch break and didn’t reach out to me again until his return. Pretty disappointed with the blatant lying and disrespect of customers time that this place consistently displays, poor representation of a great car brand.
I have my car serviced here regularly. Normally its good and quick, especially after they set up express service. But I met a fat old guy the other day, who wanted to talk me into some extremely expensive premium services without even explaining why I need them. When I said Id consider later and just do express service today, he told me no we are closed already. Express service closes at 4pm, and it was only 4:03. I arrived there at 3:30, waited and listened to his BS, and couldnt even do anything. So frustrated!
Terrible service .. dont bother with an appt because youll wait for an hour anyways .. I waited an hour (had an appt) only to find out the program required to fulfill my recall was unavailable.. they provided me options to leave my car to get completed the next day and borrow a temp vehicle .. unfortunately my line of work and my existing engagements it would work out with their hours and holiday weekend. Plus have you seen their parking lot and how they drive around customer cars .. no thanks not in my brand new car ..
Always feels like Im being scammed. They charge a huge sum for every diagnostic. The techs never have a clue whats going on. The wait times are always exacerbating. Even getting an appointment takes forever.
Subaru Impreza 21K+ mileage and my experience with this service:5 visits to fix the squeaking driver seat back support they changed springs several times, they changed cushion and in the end they finally realised that the abnormal sound is because of the friction with metal frame and they said they cant do anything more to fix it.One more visit I made because the front passenger seat was not assembled properly after the previous service and I found that interior was dammaged during the assembly. Had to talk to their manager to resolve the issue and thankfully got all pannels replaced for free. But that wasnt the end of my bad experience. When I went to check the car after service, found that they forgot to put one of the pannels and needed to resolve this issue with service advisor.Assuming all that It looks like this service has very incompetent technician team and I am thinking of finding another place were I can service my car.
Terrible terrible service. If I could give it a no star I would. I made an appointment and ended up to wait more than an hour. People without appointment were checked in before me. The fat old guy who checked us in was terrible, first he spent 10 minutes complaining to his coworker and his manager about how I was not his appointment when his tablet clearly shows my name and appointment time. I told his manager that I dont care who check us in, his manager told him just to take care of us. It took him 20 minutes to get us the paperwork when he quote us a lot more than the previous quote my husband got the day before. When we told him that the quote was lower yesterday, he said he wasnt working yesterday and told us to sign the paper. I insisted that he talk to his manager or his coworker who gave us the quote yesterday to check the price. He went talking to his manager. 5 minutes later, he came back and told us that he will give us a discount, which was the quote we got THE DAY BEFORE. People, please check and double check before you go. Otherwise you will be charged more than you should. Overall, terrible terrible experience.
