I have been with this doctor for over 6 years now dealing with my dual diagnosis needs. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for over 20 years and I still come in from out of town after moving from the area to see Dr. El-Asyouty. He is extremely knowledgeable about medications. He is the first doctor to care about my quality of life and managing side effects and he actually takes my concerns into consideration for my treatment plan (unlike most). This doctor uses up the entire visit time instead of just the usual meds ok? any side effects? ok heres your refill type-psychiatrists. This has allowed him to really get to know me and have great insight into my treatment. I trust his judgement completely, if only I would always listen to it!! Im getting better at this though and because of it, my severe opiate dependence is in long-term remission and my Bipolar 1 disorder has stabilized.

Ive been going to Dr. El Asyouty for about a decade now, after having seen almost every psychiatrist in town. While he does run a little late, its because he actually takes the time to speak to and counsel his patients. Usually psychiatrists do a perfunctory inquiry into your well-being with regards to your medications. Dr. El Asyouty has given me more usable, practical, and reliable advice over the years than most of my talk therapists. He has a great understanding of psychology and the human condition. He has his quirks, but hes human. Hes a great psychiatrist.

This man is terrible. Do not go here or direct a loved one to go here for addiction treatment unless you want them to relapse. This doctor should not be certified to administer any addiction helping drugs whatsoever as he prescribes them in massive amounts (ex: 90 doses of Suboxin at once) with no follow ups. Terrible.

Been seeing him for a long time. Very professional and knows what he is talking about unlike some other Drs in town...oh and to the dude who commented here saying dr.El doesnt do appointment reminders, they do call the day before appointments to remind oh and u do sign the (no show fee charge) so do not miss ur appointment and cry about it.. he is a very busy Dr and doesnt have time for BS as he can see someone who really needs his help instead of the ( no shows )who only want their meds filled ....Very good psychiatrist, funny guy too and i recomand him and his centers for addiction ✌🏻

Love Dr.El. Smart and professional. knows his stuff well and very knowledge able about different types of meds. took me many doctors and many diagnosis to finally feel like myself again and that is thanks to this dr and thanx to my friend who recommended him. give him 4 starts caz he runs behind a bit. i wait around 15-30 min usually to see him but again i have not seen a dr that is onetime!! defiantly recommend him.

This guy is the worst doctor i have ever come across. He was prescribing me tons of medications that caused me to have a psychotic episode which landed me in the hospital for a few days. All he was treating me for was opioid dependency, depression, and add. But he gave me med for schizophrenic and epilepsy. These caused me extreme anxiety. He also gave me suboxone for 3 months and after confronting him asking for a refill, he REFUSED!!! That medication is physically addictive and i have been CLOSE TO DEATH!!! because this doctor gave me an addictive medication a failed to wean me off of it. I havent felt the same since. AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS. HE CONSPIRED WITH PETER CALDWELL AT CALDWELL PHARMACY TO MADE EXTRA $$$$ OFF OF YOU AND GIVES YOU MEDS YOU DONT NEED AND THAT CAN BE HARFULL IF NOT FATAL TO YOUR HEALTH.

Would not refer anyone to him! Ego a barrier to treating some.

This guy was an ass hole who go loud mouthed with me and went on and on how marijuana was terrible and so bad when tons of studies show otherwise hes a kook just scamming 100s from a 15 min session
