SB Aesthetics is wonderful! Dr. Sheffield is just great doctor and a kind human. I’ve been a patient for a long time. I’ve gotten lip fillers with them and Botox lip flips…They are pros at lip enhancement. Best in SB by far. The staff is warm and friendly….Margaret and Carmen are always helpful in answering any of my questions and getting me scheduled pretty easily…Really love my results and would for sure recommend.

I cant believe its taken me this long to have laser hair removal. To my surprise, I discovered it doesnt hurt at all. You can ask them to use a topical cream to numb the skin if you are fearful like I was. I was scared it would be really painful but Ive gone in twice for my bikini line and underarms and it has been pretty easy. This is a very good med spa. The doctors are very knowledgeable and the environment is nice. They are also known for their cosmetic work. I’m coming back in for a consultation with the plastic surgeon for some feedback regarding treatment for wrinkles.

Ive seen Dr. Sheffield for years for Botox and fillers. On my most recent visit, he performed a non-surgical rhinoplasty to improve my profile for a bump on the bridge of my nose. He is very thoughtful and attentive, and makes time to evaluate your requirements, which results in thorough recommendations for procedures. He has excellent bedside manner and follows patients wishes. The employees are well-informed about the treatments and procedures, and the location is well-kept.

This med spa is excellent! My best friend and I saw Dr. Sheffield for our first time getting lip injections and we were both so nervous. But, once we got to the office, and were greeted warmly by the staff we felt more comfortable and taken care of very quickly. The doctor suggested he could use an anesthetic cream before getting the lip fillers injected. This made the procedure such a breeze. He used the Juvederm Ultra filler. The whole injection only took about 20 minutes. He kept asking for my feedback, if I wanted more volume or some extra plumping. He was very good about knowing and advising about symmetry and facial anatomy. Recovery from the lip injection procedure was fast. I didn’t have any bruising and the swelling was minor. I truly love the way my lip looks and that they look natural. I can’t wait for my next visit to the office.

Such a nice staff, excellent work with fast treatments, I’m super happy with the results. This is my spot for facials and laser hair removal. I’ve done 4 laser hair sessions so far….for my bikini, armpits and my legs. I felt very welcomed by Carmen and Margaret, sooooooo totally worth it. The office is very clean. I did my homework looking for a med spa in SB which has highly skilled injectors and are service oriented. I found the place. I got my lip injections and Botox done here and my results are great! I looking for some Botox options on my crows feet area. These guys are really good. My only complaint is that I am not able to get in to see the Doctor quickly. He’s pretty popular so he’s booked out. This isn’t a big deal for me since I just schedule my touch ups in advance

After moving to Santa Barbara form LA and looking to find a new med spa for facials and laser hair removal I finally decided on SB Aesthetics Medical Spa after several weeks or research. My main deciding factors were the fact that they use the latest technology in the ICON laser and the fact a dermatologist performs the procedure as opposed to an RN or other. I feel it’s important to have the most qualified and trained person performing my treatments. I tried a couple other clinics locally and wasn’t very impressed. I was impressed however by how I was greeted and how extremely knowledgeable everyone at SB Aesthetics is. I’ve been patient for alittle over a year now and the service is always consistent and so are the results..They take many COVID precautions with temperature checks, social distancing as well as the pre-procedure checklist of questions…If you need laser hair removal and facials or any other medical spa services, this is the place to go to.

My girlfriend referred me over to SB Aesthetics medical spa. I check out their online reviews. They seem to have a great reputation, especially for botox and dermal fillers. I went in for my semi-annual botox and lip injections. I have to say I was quite impressed. The plastic surgeon on staff spent a lot of time with me answering my questions, and he was very thorough when doing the procedures. I really liked how precise he was and well he knew the anatomy of how to inject in each area and how things vary from person to person and with age. He was explaining all of this even during the injecting. I felt so comfortable and at ease. What is more impressive are the results. Wow! If you’re looking for a new med spa in SB, be sure try them out. I’m certainly glad I did.

I have been a client of SB Aesthetics medical spa for the past 12 months. Overall, they are excellent from top to bottom. During my initial visit I met with Dr. Sheffield and he gave me a customized treatment plan to help me with some acne scarring. He did a series of microneedling treatments and I had great results. I recently got some Botox and dermal filler injections. I am a middle aged woman and I look so much younger. Try them, you will be quite happy!

You definitely need to check this place out. Great service and precision work. I went in for Botox and filler injections because I was tired of my current medical spa. They have RNs who do the injecting and they do a good job, but as I’m older I need a bit more artistry. This place soared past my expectations. The pricing is as competitive, but the quality is what stands out. I’d rather have a plastic surgeon doing the job rather than a nurse that’s for sure. I felt well treated and in good hands. The experience was so good I will definitely have my other med spa services done here too. The reviews of this place definitely ring true, and they have off street free parking to boot!! A+++

I look forward to my monthly waxing and facial at SB Aesthetics. I also had laser tattoo removal done there recently. I was going to another office for about a year and they were only able to get my tattoo faded. It took only two treatments at SB Aesthetics Medical Spa for it to be gone all the way!! Some places just know what theyre doing and have the equipment to handle the job. This group does for sure! The staff is well-trained, friendly and kind, I would recommend them in a heart beat.

This review is completely long overdue! I visited SB Aesthetics in Santa Barbara for a consultation last summer. Dr. Sheffield was extremely helpful. He carefully examined my lower eyelids and thoroughly explained what eyelid surgery needed to be performed. Although he was able not to perform the blepharoplasty himself in the office, he referred two other local specialists. Not only did he take the time out of his day to write down their contact information for me, but he also contacted the other plastic surgeons to let them know he was referring them a lower eyelid surgery patient, and then he did a follow up call with me the next day to let me know. I will definitely go to Dr. Sheffield for any of my surgical and non-surgical needs. I highly recommend him for his knowledge, professionalism and courteousness.

I visited SB Aesthetics this week. I has a consultation with Dr. Sheffield. He is an amazing blend of artistry, patience and kindness. He and his office staff made me feel right at home when I got to the office. I had a very comfortable experience. Im 58, and Im not trying to fool anything that I am in my 20s. I dont want a permanently surprised look or to look like my work is obvious. His approach to facial rejuvenation is exactly what I hoped it would be. He listened intently to my concerns, explained everything completely and didnt try and upsell me on procedures I didnt need. (I cant say the same for other plastic surgeons Ive been to). I did extensive research for this med spa visit. I called to make an appointment, and they were quite friendly and they were able to schedule me conveniently. When I got to the office, it seemed clean and professional. The staff was quite helpful and it very kind of them adjust my appointment that day as another one of my prior appts unexpectedly ran long. A plastic surgeon did the Botox and lip injections and a dermatologist did the laser hair removal. I felt in very very good hands!! They were both experts and the procedures were done quickly. The main reason why I chose this medical spa over others was because of the degree of expertise of those performing the procedures. I will be going back on my next visit for a medical facial. There is parking in a lot which is free, and they are located on Bath St. across from the old emergency entrance at Cottage Hospital.

I found this gem of a place in Santa Barbara. The doctor that I see is fantastic. He has such an eye for symmetry when it comes to dermal fillers for lip injections and is very experienced when it comes to the amount to use so you don’t come out looking like one of those Housewives of Orange County. Don’t even get me started about Botox…He’s given me the most natural looking wrinkle treatment for crow’s feet and forehead lines. They offer many other medical spa services. I’m going to schedule a laser hair removal appt next week with one of their dermatologists..

I recently completed my one-year follow up exam for the upper eyelid surgery. I experienced with Dr. Sheffield. Originally, I met with another plastic surgeon but was then advised by a close friend to have a consultation with Dr. Sheffield. I took the advice contacted his office. I was utterly surprised by his straight-forward and honest manner. I never felt like I was getting the hard sell when he discussed all of the treatment options. I really appreciate that!! After talking to Dr. Sheffield about eyelid lift surgery; he told me that a surgical option probably wasn’t necessary at this point, and I had a few more years before I may need to consider a blepharoplasty procedure, but if I wanted it, he would take a conservative approach to make it look natural and refreshed. The procedure was very reasonable compared to the quote I got from the other office, which after I did my final research was on the expensive side. Also, their office is located off Bath St near Cottage…..free off the street parking is a plus!

Dr. Sheffield is an amazing plastic surgeon!! I recently visited his SB office for upper eyelid surgery. I had a blepharoplasty done on my lower eyelids a number of years ago to remove some the fat from my eye bags so they were less puffy. Since then, my upper eyelids started to sag a little and it began to bother me. The rest of my face and skin looks so young as Ive done a great job protecting against sun damage, but my eyes definitely show the signs of aging. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Sheffield immediately during my initial consultation. His kind and gentle manner really puts you at ease and his attention to detail and experience instills confidence. His expertise in eyelid surgery is the main reason why I came to his office. The procedure was done using local, and I was able get in and out of the office in about an hour and a half. The recovery was pretty easy. The was some minor redness and swelling but that faded within a short period of time. My stitches were out within a week. I am thrilled with the results!! My eyes look completely refreshed. Totally restoring the youthfulness I was hoping for. I am LOVING it! Dr. Sheffield is one of the top plastic surgeons in Santa Barbara for eyelid surgery!! I highly recommend!!

I recently went to SB Aesthetics medical spa and began the process of laser hair removal on a few areas of my body. They gave a break on the price for doing multiple areas. I have to be honest, the painful was a bit painful some of the time during the procedure mostly because of the many areas. It was certainly tolerable and the dermatologist was able to make adjustments during to make it more comfortable. She periodically checked in with me also to make sure I was doing ok which was very comforting. I am so excited for get the final two sessions done so I can have a hair free smooth body. I’m glad I made the decision to come to this med spa. I looked around prior to and read a ton of reviews. The deciding factor for me was the Cynosure Laser and that a dermatologist does the procedure, not an RN or esthetician. Don’t use groupon deals for second rate expertise, spend the money and get it done right! We also discussed the possibility of a mini facelift, although he thought I didn’t need it at this time.That made me feel normal from the get go and ultimately set the tone for the rest of the plastic surgery process. I thank Dr. Sheffield for warming me up first, and treating me with kindness and respect, although I was ignorant towards the situation. It made a substantial difference.

I found SB Aesthetics researching on on the internet and the various review sites.  I choose Dr. Sheffield not only because of what I read but also the technology he uses which is the Bella SkinPen.  This is my 3rd micro-needling treatment i have had.  The results are truly amazing.  They keep getting better and better after every treatment.  I’m feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Sheffield.  Discovering an excellent Dr. who is great at what he does and actually cares about his patients is not an easy thing to find.  I cannot wait for my next treatment. This was my first cosmetic procedure and I was quite nervous. I was really unhappy with my face because of my frown lines and also because of the laugh lines and folds around my mouth area. I had this worn-out weathered look that made my look older than my age. It really had bothered me for several years. I decided the time had finally come to do something about my appearance. I got a referral from one my girlfriends and did some research reading reviews online. I made a consultation with Dr. Sheffield. This decision was life changing!! I look in the mirror and I cant believe the difference. Perma-smile! He really is an expert with fillers and Botox. I would certainly recommend him anyone looking for this type of procedure.

Ive seen Dr. Sheffield for years for Botox and fillers. I recently came to his office thinking the time had finally arrived for my eyes to get done. My aging eyes were really making me sad, I hated the way they looked. They were a bit puffy and there was excess skin hanging over the eyelid...really had that tired look... When I came in, we talked for a little while and caught up. Its soooo nice to have your plastic surgeon take a personal interest! Such a nice person! We talked about some other options, but he agreed that upper eyelid surgery would be the right procedure to address my concerns and give me the results I was looking for. He uses local for upper blephs, so I was out of the office in under an hour. My last procedure I had done with Dr. Sheffield was for upper eyelid surgery at SB Aesthetics in Santa Barbara.  I’m thrilled with the results. I get so many compliments!   I ‘ve never had results  I wasn’t happy with.  He always makes you feel comfortable and at ease when you are considering a new treatment and goes over all the options and will also tell you if he thinks you don’t need it.  His office staff is helpful, friendly and professional and is very easy to work with is you need to change an appointment.   I deal with some wrinkles and fine lines, which he’s done Botox and fillers for.  The results look completely natural (my friends can’t even tell) .  Dr. sheffield is excellent I would recommend him to anyone.

I just had my final one year appointment for upper eyelid surgery I had with Dr. Sheffield and I’ve nothing but a fantastic experience from beginning to end! I originally already had a consult with another local plastic surgeon in Santa Barbara, but a friend referred me over to Dr. Sheffield for a second opinion. I was really impressed with his professional and honest approach. He went over the various different options and I never felt like I he was upselling like many of these plastic surgeons do. In fact it was more like the opposite. The other doctor I went to suggested multiple procedures at a very high cost when I was just interested in getting a blepharoplasty. I asked Dr. Sheffield about an upper eyelid lift; he told me he could perform the procedure easily, but he said that I really didn’t need it at this time and I could wait a few years. I definitely appreciated the fact he didnt try to push any unnecessary procedures and brought clarity to my situation when the other doctor made it more complicated and hard to decipher. I am extremely happy with my choice of surgeons. SB Aesthetics and Dr. Sheffield are experts in eyelid surgery and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for this blepharoplasty surgery. You will not be disappointed!! In the future, when I need touch ups with my Botox and fillers or additional surgery, I will definitely go back and see Dr. Sheffield, I honestly don’t trust anyone else to do as good a job.

I’ve been a patient at SB Aesthetics in Santa Barbara for about three years and I absolutely love it.  Dr. Sheffield is so kind and sweet and professional.  His staff is super friendly and accommodating.  The procedures I’ve had are eyelid surgery, Botox, dermal fillers and microneedling.  I didn’t have the best results with the microneedling…my acne scars are pretty deep, he referred me out to a dermatologist in his practice for laser treatment and dermabrasion.  I’ve always been very pleased with Dr. Sheffield’s work and would highly recommend you come to see him if you are looking for facial rejuvenation.

I did a lot of research regarding eyelid surgery. I found Dr. Sheffield from an online search and reviews. Its a difficult thing to trust someone for a procedure like this without being referred by someone you know. I contact the office, Carmen was such a big help accomodating my schedule. When I met the doctor I felt I very relaxed and was put at ease. His friendly demeanor was very reassuring.His command of the aesthetic plastic surgery knowdledge about upper eyelid surgery was remarkable. Hes been practicing for a very long time. I like that his focus for eye rejuvenation leans more towards the less surgical route. So down the road, if I wanted, we could talk about Botox for crows feet...Ive had previous consultations where the doctor wanted to do complete upper and lower eyelids, and more. I hate upselling. This is a plastic surgeon I trust. I just wanted to share my experience with him as I was very impressed!

My girlfriend recommended SB Aestheitcs as she had botox injections from them. She looked really good. Very natural. I decided to schedule a consult and I met with Dr. Sheffield. He was very professional. I told him I didnt want to have the worked on look and wanted very subtle natural results. The lines around my eyes from squinting bothered me the most. I decided to go with the botox for this...I also wanted to have fuller lips. We talked about lip enhancement. He thought that to get the results I wanted we should just do the bottom lip...he thought the symmetry would be good and it would be fuller without being overly plump. I chose juvederm for this treatment. All in all, Im very happy with the way things turned out. The fullness in my lip went down after the first injections, so I had to come back in for additional injections. He didnt charge extra...I thought that was very professional. I would go back for other procedures.

Dr. Sheffield is truly a great physician. Ive been a patient since 2009. I have had skin issues for many years and started to see the signs of aging mostly around my eyes. I had a tired look along with some forehead lines and frown lines. Ive had 5 microneedling treatments which have made a huge improvement with my acne scarring. He also did some Restylane under my eyes in the tear trough area. I also decided more recently to get some Botox to help with the forehead and frown lines. He is definitely the best physician Ive been to and I would certainly recommend him to anyone for Botox and fillers. I would not trust anyone else with my face.

I visited SB Aesthetics in Santa Barbara as I was referred to Dr. Sheffield for treatment of my acne scars that I’ve been dealing with for a long time. After discussing all of the various options and talking about my prior treatments Ive done including creams, TCA peels and lasers he thought I was an excellent candidate for microneedling using the BellaPen. He sure was right!  The entire session took less than 45 minutes and I was in an out of the office in time to get back to work.  I did not experience any pain although my face was red for several hours. Microneedling isn’t some that’s done in one session, it’s more like a process of 3 to 6 sessions in order to see the most effective results. Ive done 3 sessions so far over about 5 months and the results are dramatic. Im more than ecstatic the way my skin looks and it continues to improve with every session.

I decided on eyelid surgery for my upper blephs and for Restylane injections for the deep lines. I will continue to see Dr. Sheffield for fillers and Botox and needed to commend him and his staff for their willingness to accommodate, their kindness, friendliness, and most importantly for the expertise and professionalism they display every time I visit!

Best plastic surgeon ever!! I get my Botox done by Dr. Sheffield. I am in love the results!! He is simply the best! I’ve always stayed out of the sun, so my skin looks amazing, but my eyes have not been so lucky. They are the one feature I wish looked better. He does a lot of eye rejuvenation for me. Some Botox for the crow’s feet….I’ve also had Belotero for my under eye hollows due to some volume loss. My upper eyelids are so puffy with a lot of excess skin hanging over the corners. Uggh, makes me feel so old….We talked about some non-surgical options, like a Botox brow lift, but we both think eyelid surgery is the best choice….I have surgery scheduled for next month when I have some time off of work to come to Santa Barbara. Dr. Sheffield is an Amazing surgeon and an person!! He is so kind and caring. What’s even more impressive is how skilled he is! His office staff is so great and friendly. They always ask if there is anything they can do for me or if there is anything I need. I never wait more than just a few minutes. They are first class with excellent customer service. I see Dr. Sheffield a few times of year for Botox for my return visits which treat the frown lines between my eyes. He never tries to upsell any other products or treatments. I tell him what i’m interested in in correcting and then he provides me with a treatment plan which makes logical sense. I would highly recommend Dr. Sheffield and SB Aesthetics.

I will certainly go back to Dr. Sheffield if later on, if I decide on any other cosmetic eyelid surgery, for fillers or Botox. I will never go to another plastic surgeon in Santa Barbara.

BE WARE OF SCAM. My wife and I were sold a very expensive Truffoire reparation skin. It supposed to be applied once a week, under de eye, to remove some of the wrinkles. It removed the wrinkled when applied at store, but magically the effect of the cream went away for both of us the next morning. They do not accept returns, it said in the receipt.
