Dave performed replacement of my rain gutters that were falling off the house. He was easy to reach and got my rain gutters installed beautifully before the most recent storm. Very easy to deal with especially since I work nights and sleep during the day, the installation went off well and the people who did them were very friendly and considerate. Gutters are holding up great, no issues with leaks. He ended up installing seamless aluminum gutters and they look and work great!

Dave did the gutters on a duplex we remodeled. He was super-fast to give us a quote. His quote was the least expensive of the three, so we went with him. He came when he said he would, did exactly what he said, and did an awesome job.We have to tie the downspouts into the drainage, but cannot do that until the concrete guys finish their work. Dave calls every three weeks to check-in just to make sure he isnt holding us up. Amazing!I was puzzled by the 1-star review from one of the reviewers, but then I looked at her profile. She has given 17 reviews of various business and 13 are 1-star. Yikes! She is either very unlucky or quite the grouch. I can say without hesitation my experience with Dave was wonderful and not at all like she describes.

Dave, the owner installed our gutters 10 years ago and when we called him recently to come add one to our house, not only did he show up promptly to do the work,he also replaced one that needed it. Great service then and now.

Dave is a former roofer, who found a niche for himself as a rain gutter guy. He knows about your roof, how the water is suppose to drain, and how to properly get it onto the ground and away from house and property. I think he likes solving the puzzle of water flow and fabricating the aluminum to resolve the job. My job had three components: cleaning and tuning some gutters on a garage (7 years old), and replacing home gutters that were 18 years old.Dave showed up at my house (on time), and we chatted while I took him around and pointed out the extent of the job. The next day he came by with a bid. I asked lots of questions, and negotiated price slightly by taking on some of the cleaning duties myself, and saving some of the collectors which were plastic and could be reused even though they were the wrong color. Later, he didn’t like how they looked, so he prepped them and painted them to match (no charge for labor or paint).Every time an issue arose, he walked me through what was wrong with the previous installation, what could be done, and always “here’s what I’d do if it was my house”. One resolution required another collector and a downspout—again, no charge. After a few of these, it seemed clear that for Dave, doing the job “well” was very personal! (at least on my house)If you call Dave to come out, and spend 5-10 minutes with him, I’m pretty sure your gut will register that he’s a smart, honest guy, that knows what he’s doing. He shows up for the actual work with an enclosed trailer that carries all his supplies and the machine he uses for fabricating the gutters.Hard for me to imagine you’d be disappointed with his work. I had high expectations (guardedly), and by the end of the first work day, these were easily exceeded. He’s organized, fast, and delivers. And remember the “personal thing”, I really believe he wants you to be happy with both a job done right, and also, how it went for You with Him).—Stan W

Dave has now done a great job with my gutters on two different houses. AFAICT hes the best gutter person in Santa Barbara. Hes been doing gutters locally for decades, he takes great care, he explains everything well, and hes very reasonable on price.We moved into a house with some dry rot on several fascia pieces, and the gutters were basically sound but needed patching and tuning in many places. Dave arranged to do a tune-up of my entire houses gutter system for a reasonable price, explained lots of details, kept me informed about schedule, and did a very comprehensive tuneup.We moved again after 3 years, into another house with some serious gutter issues. There are large trees overhanging the house that fill the gutters with debris often, and some of the downspouts were in wrong places for drainage, etc. Dave and crew replaced them all with beautiful gutters and screens over them (to keep the leaves out), and he replaced the downspout locations to places where the drainage is much better to keep water away from the foundation and allow the ground to dry out much quicker.All of this, and in both cases Dave was significantly less expensive than 2 other quotes I got. Dont get gutters without getting a quote from Humphreys!

Dave arranged to do a tune-up of my entire houses gutter system for a reasonable price, explained lots of details, kept me informed about schedule, and did a very comprehensive tuneup.The only reason this isnt a 5-star review was schedule. I bought the house just before the 2015 El Nino, when everyone in SB was panicking about rain expectations, and all the gutter people were scheduled 4 months in advance. Dave thought he could fit me in within 2 weeks. He delayed the work on my house about 5 times for various reasons, and it got done about 6 weeks later. While that sounds terrible, (1) he was still quicker than I could have gotten the work done from anyone else at the time, and (2) he stayed in touch about schedule, and (3) he eventually got the work done and did it well. I think the scheduling issues at this time were due to the El Nino craziness.
