We had a client come into our office wearing bike cleats and made a huge, deep scratch on our wood floors. Tom from Specialized, and Matt Vest, the person who did the repair work, were just amazing to work with and if you look at the before and after pictures you cant even see the scratch at all. My floors needed a changing and I decided to go with marble floors. Specialized Surfaces made it easy to schedule a time that worked for me to have their professionals come out and perform marble installation. I work full-time, so it was nice they were willing to work with my time frame. Im happy and definitely satisfied with their work, the marble floors look great. My family made some very nice comments when they saw it for the first time. If I do my floors with them again I intend to come back to these guys.

We wanted to have our marble floors, countertops and restrooms redone. The shine in our marble had gone away over the years and we also wanted to get rid of the scratch marks. After calling a few marble contractors in Orange County and having them come out for an estimate we decided to go with Specialized. They were professional, knowledgeable, provided honest options on what can be done. I also like that their pricing was just right. Not too high or too low. They came in and restored and refinished our marble floors, countertops and restrooms. They did a terrific job and left our place clean (dust free and mess free). Hello. My name is Alex and I thought I would never write something like this about someone but Tom is a liar and a cheat..... I was contracted by Tom to do a a job in Newport Beach. The work consisted of buff recoat and patching or filling up gaps. When I arrived at the jobsite all 500 Sq. Ft. had gaps which get filled up when it is a sand and refinish not a buff and coat, but the owner was upset because he was told by Tom that the gaps would be taken care of.... That shows me that his experience in wood is not all that which he claims..... Im pretty sure his good at other things but I specialize only in wood flooring and he did not have the knowledge much less the skills for wood flooring. I had to explain to the owner that what he wanted was not part of the job I was sent to do..... At the end Tom had to apologize for stating that the gaps would be taken care. Plus I completed the work on the 1st of March and its now the 30th or March and he hasnt payed me a cent...... And on top of that he doesnt answer my phone calls or text and I can provide proof to those looking to hire a guy thats not responsible. I will file a claim to smalls courts see what happens.....
