The item is not described the condition clearly, it just said ...some water spots only . When I open to check out it looks torn like this (?!?) I called to explain the situation, but the owner tries to get away from this without solution. So be aware of buying auction at this store. I paid $524.40 for those. Theyre junks, useless, must dump it!!! I paid for a Big Lesson Learn.

Great folks to work with. Very responsive via email and phone (from out-of-state). Auction website is user friendly and easy to use. Got a Selmer Mark VI saxophone which I have always dreamed of; their platform made it a reality. Will be a return customer for sure.

It seemed like a great idea, but you end up getting screwed. Been there 3 times. I saw them unloading brand new stuff the next day which they claimed was one of a kind. Seems they charge a premium on top of your auction price including stuff they buy and resell. The whole system seems suspicious, I bet they will be getting sued for something or other if have not already been sued. I have no plans to return.

Horrible company to deal with, don’t bother wasting your time. I had called last week about a refrigerator I wanted to sell and they said they would get back to me on Monday. They didn’t. So I called the next day and they said they’d get back to me about price and pick up on Wednesday. They didn’t. So I finally called AGAIN on Friday since this was becoming a time sensitive issue. They told me some guy would come the next day at 9am to get it but I had to press them for a price. We’re talking about a refrigerator that is not even a year old and basically brand new. What they offered was so appalling I thought they were joking. It’s better to donate it to a soup kitchen than to try to sell it to this place.

The auctioneer gets to say 1-2-SOLD when he feels like it. Sometimes he says it early to purposely give amazing deals at other peoples loss. If you like to buy antiques that have old ladies tears on them, go here and buy them. You can go watch the owners crying in the parking lot because their precious heirloom they wanted to pay their mortgage with was given to you for $1 while you laugh and gloat. Every business gives away loss leaders to reel in customers. This auctioneer found a way to do it at others expense. You might as well buy stolen goods, its practically the same thing. You obviously have no morals if you buy from here. The auctioneer needs to go to prison.

A good place to visit, think twice before you leave items to sell. You may get stuck with a dumping bill if your items dont sell.

This place needs to be shut down. The auctioneer (owner) is extremely dishonest and would do anything to screw customers, especially raising the price when no one is actually bidding.Its a shame that city of Santa Ana cannot do anything with such racist business owner.Read all reviews and you will see how many people have the same opinion.

We were moving out of our offices and I had sold them 18 mesh offices chairs at a very cheap rate of $10.00 chair just because I just needed them out of the office. Fifteen minutes later my husbands partner came in and was very upset that we sold two of these particular type chairs because they were a gift of special meaning to him. Of course I didnt realize but it didnt matter he was devastated and I felt horrible. I called South Coast Auction immediately and explained the special situation and asking them to return them back to me. I would certainly come and pick them up immediately and double what I sold,them for. The receptionist was very understanding and she would call Ernie, the gentleman who had just picked them up, and explain my situation and call me back.She called back and told me that Ernie said that if I wanted my chairs back I would have to come to the next auction and bid on them myself.While I understand this is a business but this all took place in a matter of 20 minutes. Of course I will never use them again and certainly not recommend them to anyone. According to Ernie, they have more furniture than they know what to do with and a simple act of compassion would have mended a broken heart but that is not what this company is about. It is a vulchers mentality.

Not even worth half a star as review! My experience was horrible!!! I’ve never seen anything like that, never met horrible staff and nasty people as I did. I can’t believe these people and the way they run their business has not been scrutinized by commercial fraud or legal authorities.They collected my stuff - tons of stuff- 3 full apartments with an inventory that is meaningless and so unprofessional and not even closer to precise!!! I was dictating the guy in charge what to include as he was leaving out lots of stuff.They staked a 6 feet trolley full of very expensive and valuable designer furniture accessories, bedding, electrical appliances and crystals, least of all are 2 brand new Shark vacuum cleaners. When I asked why this whole lot is not added to inventory, the employee said bec. We’ll put them as miscellaneous- we can’t go thru each and every single box!!! We will just count the full bedrooms, tables, chairs and and sofas.I went to check with the owner on that and he spoke to me in an extremely ill-mannered, very hostile and had an intimidating approach that he almost hit me and kept staring at me and getting closer as if he’d grope me. He seemed so unstable and I was extremely terrified. No women go there alone this is my advice.The total they gave me in my check wasn’t even one tenth the value. They charged me for every item they didn’t sell for $30 or more. Tgey charged me a 30 bucks.The breakdown of the amount they paid me grouped every 5-6 items as sold together with a bundled price that is hilarious. They never gave me any explanation on the process or any details, only had to reply to my questions before I left the stuff and after I rcvd their check I was shocked and they were surprised that I didn’t know the process and the fees they had to deduct!!They gave me less than one third the amount they claimed they have collected. they charged me a min. Charge for each item they sold for less than $30, then charged me again for items they claimed they didn’t sell.So unprofessional and so unfair. I wonder if this is legal - what they do to customers and how they store our stuff and log the inventory!!!Not a recommended place at all. It’s more dignifying to trash your stuff in the dumpster !!

I spoke with a gentlemen from the south coast auctions,after speaking with the lady in the ofice who was so nice. The ad said they buy pianos. So after sending the pictures of the piano, the guy called me and said he would give me $20.00 for a fifty year old piano that is in great condition. He told me the most people would be happy to get 20.00, and he said it was to far, well i told him you have an ad theat says you buy pianos in Redlands. I called the guy back and toold him how about 40 he said mhe would think about it . Dont waste your time find someone else,

Terrible customer service. Requested a refrigerator to come be looked at. Informed them I only had about 5 days for that to happen as I needed to move. Was told that would be no problem. After calling and sending email to their rep only heard back 2 weeks later, well after I had to have the appliance hauled out and junked. Then when I informed the I no longer had it, they do not communicate to their own team and Ive now received 5 calls to schedule a time to come look at my refrigerator! Get with the program folks and do what you say your going to or dont say it!

They cheated my 86 year old Mother out of thousands of dollars. Took $9000 dining room set multiple other pieces of high quality furniture and paid her $250. Run. Do not use these people.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had very high quality furniture, an entire 1 bedroom I was trying to sell. I bet the amount they could sell everything for would be around 5 or 6 thousand. (Leather furniture, expensive mattresses, tv, etc etc etc).I was willing to take around only 1500 - 2000. This horrible company offered 500 dollars for the ENTIRE APARTMENT. I sold literally just the mattress for that amount the next day.They will rip you off. Avoid.

Yesterday my father bought several rolls of carpet and the bids were for the square yards. There was a roll that was supposedly 90 square yards but he estimated it being around 40. I trust my dad because he is 22 year experienced carpet installer so if he says the carpet is 40 square yards then he must be right. He bought the carpet but an employee said if it wasnt the size then he would hive him his money back. Today we went to pick up and pay for the carpet but we measured and it was not 90 yards. We told an old tall man with white hair about it and he scream in my dads face. He we using vulgar language knowing his customers daughter (me) and other customers we there. He was completely out of line and wouldnt even let my dad talk. The rest of the staff us great but this one man makes the entire place look extremely bad. Im guessing the man is the owner.

I do not recommend this place. The manager probably the owner he conducted analytical buissnes. He make inappropriate racial comments to his workers, he race bids to some bidder regardless if anyone else stop bidding. Use intimidation tactics if you try talking or question him. It is amazing how he can go along with so mach illegal buissnes.

Fun place, but dangerous if youre trying to hold onto your money. I got some really good deals, though.

I brought (14) Museun quality paintings to this auction house. They did not allow me to record descriptions and history of each individual piece for auctioneer to acquaint himself before they were to be up for bidding. The young man did not speak English fluently, therefor created his own version of desriptions. Example: Name of the artist, ( if he could read it. And what he interpreted with his vision and lack of knowledge of fine art. I could not attend the auction as I had an emergency matter.I called the South Coast Aucrion the following day and was told that a check was written to me for ........get this!.... $77 . I thought a serious mistake had been made. I requested an itemized final bid for each painting and was informed that each painting was sold for S1.... Did the owner see the value of the paintings and took 1st dibs? Soneone please send feedback on why this happened. First time selling at auction house. Disgusted.....

Have to move in 4 days so as a last resort I called this company for a quote. They refuse to come look at the furniture and told me they cant help me even though their site boasts same day pickup. Our furniture is less than 6 months old and in great condition. Dont even bother. Huge waste of time.
