Mike and Chris were ON TIME, which is seems to an oddity these days, but very welcomed. Overall, very pleased with the work, and professionalism. Couple of pictures for review. I have a couple more projects coming up that Mike and Chris will definitely get a call for!

Mike and his son installed barn doors in my home. They are absolutely beautiful and were made with a lot of care. Mike is very thorough and a perfectionist. He made sure everything was to my liking. I will definitely use him again in the future.

These guys are awesome. I needed a microwave and bedroom door installed, and a couple of doors that needed minor repairs. I was pleasantly surprised when he quoted me at about half the price other services/businesses had given me. Then he did a great work to boot. Very quick, good quality work for a fair price. What more could you ask for from a handy man. 10 out of 10 would use again.

Mike did a wonderful job on a smaller but too advanced for us remodeling project in our recently purchased fixer upper. He was quick to respond to messages, and had a quick turn around time from date of sending us a quote to date starting the project. He opened up a supporting wall between our kitchen and dining room, removed/moved outlets, replaced/repaired drywall, updated the electrical wiring/switches, and repaired our textured ceiling. Highly recommend and already have plans to contact him for our next more advanced project.

Even though Handyman in Cary didnt provide the specific service I needed, the person who took my call was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided me with some excellent advice on how to find what I needed. Mike and his son made repairs to the siding, trim and garage door frame on our home in Apex on July 10th. Their work was first quality, re-fastening siding. and replacing rotted corner trim. I would highly recommend Mike and would hire him again.

Mike provided excellent service. He did the work in a very quick time frame. My deck, driveway and front porch now look brand new. He even cleaned up some mistakes on my house vents from a previous handyman that I wont use again. I will stick with Mike from now on.

Mike and his crew came by to repair my bathroom floor and what I thought was a small amount of damaged dry wall in the garage. It turned out to be a large amount of water damage that included re framing, residing, a completely new door and interior drywall. Mike made what could have been a nightmare a very good experience at a very reasonable price. Even my insurance adjuster complimented his work. Highly recommended, will definitely hire again in the future.

It was a joy to work with Mike James and his son Chris. Showed up right on time and finished the job in two day. The quality of work is excellent. He replaced several cedar shingles, two exterior doors, replaced damaged decking boards and rebuilt a sitting area on the deck which turned out much better than the original. Mike is doing another project for me next week. I will use him to complete all my remaining projects.

As a new homeowner and enheriting a place with a variety of problems, it’s good to know you can count on a team with the skill sets these two have! Mike and his son do solid work for reasonable prices. I am happy with the repairs they worked on at my place. I needed outside deck repair/painting, outside boundary fence repair, front porch ceiling sanding, restaining, front doors sanding, restaining, inside garage tools/rack mounting, garage floor treatment and coating, and driveway pressure washing. And, yes, they tried their best to work around our schedule. And, I appreciated they did not skimp or cut corners! Yep, I would definitely use them again!

I am extremely happy with the work Mike and his son performed for us. We initially had them provide a quote to repair our deck which was very worn and needed a major facelift with all new boards, stairs and rails. They even raised the pilings to fix poor drainage. Their quote was the most competitive, but I must say that they far exceeded my expectations.I immediately asked them to do additional work replacing quite a bit of rotten trim. We have had it repaired on several occasions and this is the first time that I feel it will last. I cannot recommend them higher and I am already finding more things around my house I would like them to address in the future.I honestly think they underestimate the quality of their work as I have had mediocre repairs in the past on more than one occasion by others. I even tried to give them more money, but they stuck to their estimate with only a few minimal add-ons that were welcome and definitely required.My only regret is that I did not find them sooner!
