Staff is rude. Specifically nurse named “Constant” he had a very thick accent I couldn’t really understand him over the phone. I tried getting info on a patient and they couldn’t answer my questions for example what was the patient diagnosis(yes my name was on the release) when will the patient be discharged, can I speak to the provider what did the provider say? They didn’t want to give me a direct answer because the doctor didn’t even speak to my patient and didn’t want to admit it. If they’re rude to friends and family members I could only imagine how they’re treating people inside. HORRIBLE management. Hung the phone in my face and said he had other things to do

They do a good job. Great community place. They help people. Some people dont appreciate this place but I do.

My loved one is here now and I have seen 110% improvement. I went to visit him last weekend and the staff was very helpful and friendly and they were playing cheerful music and made our visit so much fun. It was a happy time for us both. I am so grateful for this place. Thank you so much for taking such good care of someone I care very much for. God bless everyone who works here

I was told this will close for the thanksgiving weekend i understand that part its the holiday but closing this coming monday has got me off track it must be the covid 19 again.

I am referring to the actual crisis unit.. NOT the area where you walk in to see doctors..my mother voluntarily put herself here cause she was extremely depressed. I could not believe the level of cruelness and inhuman treatment of PEOPLE!!! And they do it right in front of visitors...so I can only imagine what they do when there are no visitors. Awful awful place.

I was on drug court and I wish I would of listened. Now I have so many issues.

I was admitted here against my will a few months ago. The nurse proceeded to call my back tattoo a tramp stamp and spoke down to me the entire night. I hadn’t slept for 24 hrs and they wouldn’t let me lie in a bed; I had to sleep in an incredibly uncomfortable plastic chair with a hematoma on my head and a broken pinky. I had no pain medicine and was ignored upon requesting help. They are awful and unhelpful. Do not put your loved ones here. If they’re arrested and baker acted in, it’s going to be a very unfortunate experience for them.

It takes a while to go through the process, but the staff is very good about listening to your concerns amd suggestions about your treatment.

I was taken here against my will in a involuntary baker act I demanded that I should be able to speak with an attorney and was ignored than placed in restraints. After I still demanded a phone call and my right to attorney I was than drugged against my will and given what they call a shot in the buttocks. My bruises from being dragged to this facility have healed but what I endured here will stay with me forever stay away from this place at all costs as they will keep you here to rack up insurance bills and this places billing department is located in downtown Orlando in my experience they simply do not respond until you are sent to collections.

Dont go to this place willingly. Wasted time and gas going to this place. No appointments taken, walk-in only. Only 2 hours after they opened, I was told they were booked for the day, meanwhile there was no one in the waiting room and the parking lot was half empty. Makes no sense for a walk in only clinic. There is no waiting for another person to finish so you can see the doctor next. They pretty much just decide who they want to see and when they do or dont want to see them

Worst place ever! My son has been here a few times, a young man in his early 20’s. They simply do not care about anything but the funding. Patients are dollar signs. They do not help anyone. They do not care about helping anyone “get better”. They keep their patients drugged to the point of being zombies because it makes their job easy to have them that way, not because it helps them. My son had side effects to the meds and they told him he was being dramatic. When they finally released him we were out and his head twisted with a cramp that he couldn’t even walk straight. Took him to South Seminole and they said it was a side effect to the medication, but Aspire said it was him being dramatical. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. They don’t care about your loved op. They won’t speak to you and if they file a complaint, the paperwork magically disappears and they get away with it. This is THE most disgusting place to take anyone you care about. Oh and if you call your loved one, they just disconnect your calls. Everyone from the psychiatrist to their little power-filled staff lack compassion. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Giving them one star is too much.

Im a psychologist from chicago, so I knew after hurting myself, I would have to be put on a 72 hr bnb hold. I was hoping to help while I was there and resources after i was released.I was wrong on all levels. They were out of necessities like deodorant and soap. I was then forced to sleep on the floor in front of the receptionists desk and I formed that I wasnt allowed any visitors. Ive see bad places, this was the worst yet. One nurse was kinder than the others, but the other woman was rude and ignored me. I was the one who had to go and apologize for her perception of my behavior. Her excuse was that she was having a hard day. I showed her my wounds on my wrist and neck, informed her that i understood she has a tough job, but people like us who work in mental health must leave all personal issues at the door to focus and be present. After some more talking about our responsibilities, she gave in and apologized. Said she would never would have approached me to talk and would have treated me as hostile.This is just the tip of the iceberg. I was fortunate enough that my father called the president and VP of Florida health to get me out after 13 hrs.

They do their best with the funding they have. I’m grateful for the resource.

Thankful for this place and the help they provides.The doctor I have is knowable, and helping me get through my situation.

This place has some irresponsible ppl giving meds without even knowing doses or anything about the medication. i have been calling them since may 10 asking for them to fix this issue with my depressions medication and til this day they havent done anything!! i left several messages since friday smdfh!!

Please do not commit yourself or send your loved ones here! I was baker acted and brought here about 2 years ago. As others have stated this was one of the absolute worst experiences of my entire life. I have no previous mental heatlh or health issues but i was going through a lot at this time I was brought in by the police because i was at home and basically had a mental break down for reasons i wont dive into here. i had commited no crime and i didnt try to hurt myself or anyone else but my fiance was scared and called the police. When i was brought in i was handcuffed to a bed in an empty room (solitary confinment) held down by 3-4 people. my pants were pulled all the way down and given a seditive in my butt. when i woke up i was much calmer but didnt see any pyschitrist for atleast two days. finally by the 3rd day i see the doctor, even tho i had no incidents in the clinic, i was told they were keeping me longer but couldnt tell me why or until when. I had been heavily medicated every few hours so i almost fainted when they wouldnt give me a discharge date. so they put me back in the solitary confinment with another seditive. i had a job i need to get back to and i had commited no crime or violent acts to begin with. they should of released me after 72 hours. i was kept for 11 whole days against my will! they wake you up before dawn, then stick everyone in a tiny room to watch the news or a movie all day long. they take you outside for about an hour a day. but you just sit a picnic benches doing nothing, they make you take a nap in the middle of the day, there is absolutely no activities to keep patients busy. just a couple crossword and coloring books.there was 2 optional group therapy sessions the whole time i was there but it was a joke. the food was just as bad it was like a underfunded elementary school was providing the meals, the beds and seats where rock hard, this place is a prison for those people who havent commited any crimes. they just drug everyone up to keep you compliant and then keep you as long as they can to bill you or your insurance. (yes, i got a 1600$ bill for this week and a half involuntary prison stay). the staff are a bunch of unqualified kids, just throwing people in solitary and sedating anyone who wasnt ok watching tv for 20 hours a day. people would break out into terrors, screaming about demons, hell & death many times i even thought i was in hell myself! if you have mental health issues youre much better off going to you pcp and getting referred to a specialist. stay away from this place!

Went to the crisis unit looking for help with severe depression. I was treated like a prisoner. When I explained that I did not want to take a certain medication because it causes me to have violent seizures, I was restrained with handcuffs and given a shot. I didnt get any help at all. They wake you up at 5:30 to go into the main room where you sit in hard chairs, doing absolutely nothing. It doesnt matter how the medication effects you. Ive seen people fall out of the chairs from the exhausting side effects because they arent allowed back in their rooms. They give you about 4 ounces of juice to drink with meals and sometimes milk. They have a dirty water fountain that smells and tastes like mold. The water from the fountain isnt drinkable. I am going to contact the health department to complain. People should have clean and fresh water to drink. This unit is more like jail than a place to get help. The place is filthy and the staff are rude, uncompassionate and cruel. If you suffer from depression, this is not a good place to go.

Have never had an issue always nice

I do love this place. I have been going for years now. It took a while for me to get on the right meds but the doctors were very patient as well as helpful. I also had my kids being seen here for some concealing and the concealer was absolutely amazing. There is only 1 doctor I will not see and that is Bryan. I dont like him and I rather stay off my meds before I see him again. I seen him once and that was 1 time to many. The staff are really nice and so it the nurse. And I am very grateful for all that they have done for me.

Place Sucks. No appointments. Walk in only but they are booked for the day 15 mins after opening. I have to work and cant take off hoping to be seen. Doctors constantly changing. Rude personnel also. Go somewhere else that cares about your well being.

The staff there are judgemental and uses what you tell them against you even if you are truly a victim of being bullied by others and lied on they still want to label you crazy and have you under their control and forcing you to take crazy meds when everyone that comes there through court orders through lies petitioner lied against defendants are not crazy. The whole system is corrupted and they often times throws the victims in jail and put into mental institutions as a form devotional programs when the real criminals are the perpetrators who commit perjury under oath to have victim arrested with false police reports and criminal records piling up against victim to send them to prison from lies being told to make it look like probable causes.

This place saves a lot of lives. There are great people there and great service.

In experienced and rude, switched me between therapists and wasted time, I was in for sever suicidle ideation, an they still jerked me around for 5 months, then put me with a total idiot that wouldnt even let me go over my problems, she ended up giving advice that she was reading off of articles she googled, waste of time, and olny served to make my suidical feelings quite a bit worse.

The worst place Ive ever been to in my life. When I was younger my psychiatrist tried to convince my parents I was a manipulative liar and all I wanted was drugs so I can sell them at school. She did this every day for 2 years. Just telling my parents all kind of thinfs about me that wasnt true behind my back. Everytime i tried talking to her she would yell at me and tell me i was lying. If i had bad side effects she would say i was lying. If i said i couldnt pay attention in class she said i was lying. My parents raised me to never lie and I didnt ever get involved with any kind of drug stuff. It got so bad my parents had to take me out because we would go at it, it was like she always tried ro put me down. She did that so many times that my parents started abusing me saying I was a manipulative person because if the doctor said so, it must be true... I went to a different doctors office and never had a problem again. All the doctors at other psychiatrist listen to you and want to help you. I then 10 years later I come back desperate for help. That evil doctor no longer works there, So I return hoping for better. I informed them I was homeless and really needed medication. They made me drive over there (an hour away) 2 times and sent me home. I have severe anxiety and depression. I have learned to cope with it without medication and I had 2 manic panic attacks leaving there because they refused to help me. They dont care at all. I officially went 4 times and every time I was left empty handed just wasted my time. They treated me like absolute crap. The worst service ever. Worst place ever dont go.

Provides needed services and medication where there are NO other choices. A godsend. I have nothing but thanks for these people and the services they provide.

The psychiatrist said after many months of treatment that he was running out of options and that the best course of action was to go back to work or seek a second opinion. Recently have been going back, they are continuing treatment albeit nothing is working as of yet.

Ok, its not a hundred percent, great but at-least: They dont hassle you, like some of the other places, Ive gone to and its free.

Lets their patients out to soon. Let let our friend out before she was ready to face the real world. They just dumped her out on the street with no place to go.
