Ms Beckie was such a great host for my wife and I. In typical Florida fashion the heavens opened up about half way through the ride but she kept plugging along. It was a ton of fun. I rode Willow and my wife road Vanity, both horses were awesome. They were very easy going and incredibly well trained even in the pouring rain they were calm and handled the terrain very well. I highly recommend these amazing people who’ve done such a great job with these beautiful animals.

The absolute best for a private trail ride! My husband and I made a last minute appointment and Im so glad we did.This is by appointment only, but most horseback rides are. Beki kept a keen eye on the weather for us as showers were expected. Hours before she texted us that all was well.The property is lovely and she took great care in selecting the right horses for us to ride (we had Willow and Vanity). The trail is amazingly beautiful and the conversation was spot on. We truly enjoyed ourselves.I highly recommend folks add this hidden gem to their must visit list.

This was a fantastic experience. The horses were beautiful and very well trained. The trails were of the old Florida with giant oaks, fern, palms and wonderful flowers. The peaceful easy feelings were everywhere. Friendly guides that allow you to experience the true trail ride. I highly recommend this experience !!

We took our daughter, 6yo, for the 1 hour horse experience. It was honestly just perfect. It was just her, the staff member, and the horses (Clover, a little pony that made it easy for her to help groom, and Rosie, a larger horse she rode later). She was in absolute heaven. The one-on-one allowed her to get maximum horse time but also ask all her questions, learn about the process, etc. The horses themselves were so sweet and gentle, and the staff member was so patient. Absolutely worth the cost. If youve got a horse-obsessed little one, I heartily recommend this!

Our horse riding trip was great. The horses are tame. The owner was so nice, she explained all saftey instructions, she took time to explain the horse breeds and lots of other related things. Definitely a place to revisit. Thank you for having us.

We’ve been on a number of trail rides over the years, but this one was exceptional. Owner Becky and trail guide Peyton were knowledgeable and relaxed. Maximum of 5 riders makes it a personal experience. Scenery was spectacular. Saw Bald Eagles. A place to visit knowing the foliage & fauna throughout the seasons will change. Hope to return for the sunflowers!

One of the best Florida trail rides Ive been on, and Ive been on quite a few across the state. Our guide was amazing and very accommodating. Beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing. We had a great time and will definitely be back in October for the wild sunflower field ride.

Very friendly owner, Beki, was great with kids. She demonstrated how to groom horses, saddle them, and feed them. She was very patient while teaching two small granddaughters to ride slowly around the yard area. We would come back in the future for a trail ride when the kids are older.

My son and I were looking to go horseback riding as part of his school assignment. I saw recommendations for Hidden Palms Ranch and a few other places in a FB group that I am a part of. I went online to do some research and see the reviews of each place. While they all had good reviews I decided to go with Hidden Palms Ranch. We went on a cool Saturday morning and it was a great first experience! Becky and her assistant were fantastic. We were able to pet the horses and take pictures with them while we waited for the rest of our group. Once everyone was there, we quickly mounted our horses. Each horse has its own personality. Becky and her assistant explained how to control each of our individual horses. However, the horses follow the lead horse so most of the ride they are on auto-pilot. The Group Trail Ride took us out to the Lake Jesup area. Its a great leisurely round trip ride. I would say about 60-70% of the ride is in the shade which can make a big difference depending on when you go. We would definitely go back here again!

Took our family of 5 for a Sunday morning ride. It was the 1st time my teenagers rode a horse. Great experience for 1st time riders. It was perfect that the max group size was 5. The owner was our guide. She was really good with providing instructions for each person when they were mounting their horse. She knew her horses very well. During the tour she provided some history about the area we rode. Overall a great experience and would love to go back again.

Took my kids to the Horse Experience for my little ones 5th birthday. They enjoyed it. The girl who did the experience with them wasn’t very friendly though. Definitely not a kid person. My kids probably didn’t notice, but as a parent I did. Overall it was fine though.** Update - owner reached out and was very polite and respectful. I appreciate when people take the time to learn about your experience (good or bad). This is a really great family business.

This is not your ordinary hack stables but rather feels like youre riding your dear friends horses while visiting on vacation. They only do so many rides each day and it shows. The horses are very well cared for and have delightful personalities. The fall season there is the chance to ride through a field of beautiful sunflowers in bloom. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.They are also very safe with regards to Covid-19 precautions and offer club rates for locals.

My 11 yo daughter and I had a wonderful experience! The ranch is beautiful, the horses are very well cared for and calm. Beki, the owner is super friendly and made us feel welcome. She even has sunscreen and bug spray in case you forget. There is a fannie pack on each horse so you can put your essentials in it, which was great. The trail, along Lake Jessup conservation area, is beautiful and peaceful.They even took pictures of us during the ride and sent them to us after. Would definetly recommend!

Got engaged here on 8/23/2020.staff were friendly and professional. I took a private tour which was breathtakingly beautiful as I was hyped with anxiety. My guide Becki pretended as if she had no idea what was going on as she led my fiance into her own proposal. Amazing help from peyton I believe her name was setting up while we were gone. This was my first time horseback riding and the guide Beki, made it a wonderful experience for me. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and nice. I would definitely come back again. I am glad I decided to try this. It was a new, fun, and relaxing experience for me.

First time rider and I was super nervous. Beki and her other staff member was super helpful. It was nice she provided a little background about each horse’s life and their personality. It sort of put me at ease about my horse. The trail was beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased the Valentine’s Day package that was 270 dollars which was supposed to include a photograph package of pictures throughout the 1 hour trail ride. What I received was a 45 minute ride at the most which included only 2 pictures taken by an iPhone 6 which were lost and never sent to me. When I contacted the owner to get the issue resolved I was given no help she took days to respond to my texts about the problem and offered a 25 dollar refund for the pictures. Better horseback riding trail rides can be found in the central Florida area.

We loved the Horse Experience! We gifted it to our 17 year old daughter and she invited her brother and I to experience it with her, none of had ridden nor had we had any grooming or care experience. So basically we were first timers :)! Ms. Beki (owner) showed us the way, we never felt rushed, she answered all of our questions, taught us grooming techniques, got us saddled up and away we rode! Absolutely fantastic experience and we all can’t wait to go back again with my hubby and mom to ride the trails. The horses were gentle and agreeable. I can’t say enough of how wonderful the experience was.

What a great way to spend a late afternoon. I had the opportunity to ride Bekis paint - Joe; what a sweet horse. Being outside on a beautiful day taking in the sites and sounds of nature while on horseback, there is nothing like it. While riding through the woods we saw a beautiful bald eagle.Hidden Palms Ranch is a great place to go for a wonderful horseback riding experience. It is a relaxing place and Beki is so wonderful. Of importance to me is that the horses are well cared for and loved.
