My small business scored a large order we needed to ship freight. So we contacted YRC. We provided YRC with the EXACT contents of 72 pallets of the goods to be shipped. They provided quotes that totaled just above $10,000. When they invoiced the bill was $37,000!! They claim it was classified incorrectly, however, we did not provide the classification. We provided the exact contents of the pallets, and THEY provided the class code. I dont know anything about freight or class codes, but trusted they knew since they are in the shipping businessOnly after the delivery did they switch the class code and jack the bill up 370%. I absolutely believe they do this on purpose, just look at all the other people who say the same thing. They are now trying to strong arm me into paying over $44,000. I have offered to pay the original quoted amount. I offered to pay $18,000 (about 90% above their bogus quote. NOPE. Theyd rather harass a small business with threats of lawsuits. DO NOT USE!!!!
