I took my laptop to get fix and they did a great job . Just need to train staff better . Was trying to buy a computer and the gentleman couldn’t give me an answer. But beside that they do great Jon on fixing the device . Will return to get my other one fix.

Called cause i need some thermal paste (semi-random request) but figured they carried due to builds/repairs. Hooked me up, had me on my way nice and quick. No complaints, saved me waiting s few days ordering some online.

I took my phone in for a new battery. While there, they recommended that I also fix a small crack in the screen. I prepaid around $280 and was told I could drop my phone off in a few days and repair would take approximately 2 hours. I took the phone in that Saturday at 10 am and was advised that it would be ready by 3 pm. I told them I could not leave my phone that long, I was going out of town and needed it. They said that a tech had called off and so I said I would just bring the phone the next Saturday. Next Saturday, I was told the same time frame. I reminded them I was told 2 hours and was told this isnt fast food. They then said they could have phone ready by 1 pm. I picked phone up and next day I noticed that phone was still not holding a charge. I called and was told to bring phone back. I returned with phone and left phone for several hours. Went back and was told they needed another hour. I picked phone up,I was told there was condensation in the phone that was probably to blame. I advised that the phone had not been wet and was told that there could be slight condensation from the heat. Next day again noticed phone was not holding charge . I had to charge twice throughout the day. I was advised on phone to email my concerns to email on website. I emailed on 7/5 with no response. On 7/7 I emailed again and no response. I called and they said they did get my emails and would respond by email ( i dont know why this couldnt be addressed on phone) 7/8 and no response by email.

I dropped off a gaming laptop that needed a new power jack installed. The tech Curtis alerted me that the battery also swelled and needed replacing. After those issues where taken care of, the system also required a new USB daughter board and monitor cable. The repairs took a long time, but I was aware of the issues with the supply chain and the hiring of new employees. So in the end, they got the system running and the price was reasonable. Yes, I will use them again.

I went to apple for they can repair my laptop and they wanted to charge me so much and they wouldnt answer the phone to get back with me to see what was wrong with my computer. I was looking on google for a better deal and I found Gadget Guys. They had the best reviews in Sanford and they did not disappoint. They charged me $100 dollars less! I couldnt believe the difference and they were so responsive and told me what was wrong with my computer. They fixed it really quick, even though there was another part they had to order I still got my laptop fast. Im writing this review with my fixed laptop. I am so happy with the service they have given me. Curtis is the rep who fixed my laptop and he did an excellent job. He made my laptop faster and I can store more memory. He is so nice and well informed. I would recommend anyone to come here. A+ Service.

Great at first. They saved me when my screen broke. Unfortunately, now I have a screen that gets scratches easily and it looks horrible after just a few hours. I asked several times to have the same screen it had before. They said it is. Its not! Id never had protection on it for 2 years and never had any scratches no matter how much I dropped it. It only broke because I dropped something heavy on it with sharp corners while I was falling and even then it was only damaged in one small spot where it was hit. I dont like this screen.

Went in over a graphics card I bought from a private individual, card ended up being dead. The guy there told me (this is why you dont be from kids in trench coats on the playground). I am a 24 years old. Just very rude and unprofessional. I even told the person working on the phone ive tested the card forwards amd backwards I just wanted it fixed and it tested it and handed it back. Wasted an hr of my time to drive down to their shop which is just a bunch of pc part boxes nothing actually for sale. DO NOT GO HERE

Since 2017 I have used the Gadgets service and I have really been happy with the service. My daughter took her iPad to them on April 9, 2021 for repairs. The worker name Curtis was giving her the run around up until today. He told me Several times that it will be ready tomorrow, just kept telling lies about what was going on with the iPad.Last week when I was tired of the lies and asked for her refund, he told me that they had to fix it and they can’t refund the money back. He also said that day, that it was one part that was on the way. To make a long story short, I had to demand the refund and demanded that he give the iPad back. He when to the back and going another guy that he told me last month didn’t work there anymore. Curtis integrity really made the store look bad. After all of these years of being a satisfy the customer I can’t go back.

Our computer was dropped off and we were told they would contact us in 20 minutes and they did not call for 2 days so we called again and was told they didn’t have a chance to get to it. We made a trip to Sanford to pick up computer on Friday after being told we were coming to get the computer and was told they didn’t have it put together. We then told them we would be there Saturday morning to pick the computer up and you guessed it, it still wasn’t ready.The staff was incompetent and had NO CLUE what they were doing. This shows this business can not and does not keep their word

Went in for water damage told takes 72 hours my phone was there a month with no contact from anyone I would have go physically stop in the store as they would put the phone on hold until you decide to just hang up very unprofessional very much a useless business who is flash advertising wouldnt take my business or recommend anyone provide them future business

This company cares about it’s customers! We took an old phone in for screen repair and a replacement battery. The team member that greeted me was kind, caring, knowledgeable and acted as if this was the most important thing he had to do all day. I am sure there are many bigger services Gadgets Unplugged performs but again this organization treated my small phone problem like it was important to them! A team member followed up when the phone was ready for pick up not just on time but ahead of schedule. Thank you for the great service and friendly business!

Great sevice and they can fix just about anything. In one case offered to fix my computer and quoted a price but also offered that was probably better to just replace it.

I went to another shop in town 2 weeks ago and waited on a part to fix my phone for 11 days, I had to call and ask each day when I was supposed to expect it and was told it will be another couple of days until finally I was told that the part wasnt even ordered. I came to Gadgets Unplugged and they had the part and my phones screen replaced in 48 hours, they kept me updated, they were very kind, efficient, reliable and trustworthy. Me and my family will continue to go here for all of our future electronic needs.

If I had any complaint it is an extension of their most positive trait, that is that they will get pretty busy pretty quickly helping the clients that come in. My father took his phone to get fixed, he paid the balance of getting it fixed. Turns out they couldn’t do it but they knew someone that could for an additional 70 bucks. So they were planning to keep the money my father paid them to “fix” it and the guy that actually was go a fix it was gona get paid just 70 bucks. So my father went and ask for a refund because either way the phone wasn’t fixed, after times of calling and being placed on hold multiple times, he agreed to refund the money and give him his phone back the way it was given to them to be fixed. Only to get home and find the phone doesn’t cut on, keep in mind this phone would fully turn on and work... so we got a refund and the phone back but phone isn’t functional anymore. Petty petty. Don’t recommend this place to anyone, they take advantage if you let them.UPDATE: I opened the phone and it was given back to me with NO battery what so ever.03/11/19: went back today to ask for my battery, I was called retarded and they refused to give back my battery.

Bad service

I have had 2 phones repaired here and I was completely satisfied with both. I took the second phone in today for a software issue after the Verizon store said it wasnt fixable and he reset it for me and didnt charge me anything. That saved me at least $299 on a new phone.

These guys are awesome. The added memory to my laptop for me. The price was reasonable, and they were fast. I wasnt even sure theyd find it because its an old system. He even said it was old. They do phones and TVs and all kinds of stuff. Im sure Ill be in there again.

I didnt get the chance to use their service but after calling 8 different repair places in NC, Gadget Guys was by far the most helpful over the phone. I have been getting my phone fix for a few years now and every time i get it back it works fine until i get away from gadget guys my iPhone 6 just got fixed and my screen is cracked worst than it was before i got it fixed. my screen comes out. I`m still in my 90 days i want to go back but i think ill find someone else it makes no sense that we pay so much and something goes wrong people want to get there phone fixed with you guys but yall really cheat us out our money for it to only work for a few weeks my phone screen just went out and I`m pissed i wasted 100 dollars to get it fixed now i don`t want to go back at all for nothing.

Went in for a charger port repair.. left with a fixed port but malfunctioning sview cover that does not lock and unlock when opened and closed sooo They ordered new cover. Not fixed new cover does not respond either. Live and Learn.Also paid 50 dollars labor to install a 10 dollar part that took 5 minutes.. this was done so that I wouldnt damage phone.Live and learn

I would give 10 stars if I could. I had an Iphone 10 that was severely damaged. I brought it to Gadget Guys and they told me they would fix it. a day later they called and told me my phone was ready so I went to pick it up. When I got it home I realized that there was an issue with the Iphone so I took it back to Gadget Guys and they told me it was probably a firmware issue. Gadget Guys went above and beyond to try and get this issue fixed. They replaced parts twice, tried every avenue possible and they even took it to the Apple store for me (I dont know much about iphones). In the end the phone was not repairable and Apple was absolutely no help. Gadget Guys (because I had already paid to have the phone fixed) offered me a new phone (Iphone7), my broken phone back and store credit. :) :) :) I am truly happy with the end result. The phone Im getting is way better than what I am currently using. These Gadget Guys are really great to work with. I will definitely be back if I ever have any future tech problems. 10 stars guys!!!!

The charge port on my iPhone wasn’t working well any more. Instead of forkingover a whole paycheck for a new one I googled smartphone repair these guys showed up.Called in and described the problem they said they could handle it. Dropped it off and asked if they could swap out my nearly four year old battery and they bundled the cost together. Done speperately they would have been expensive but at the same time it came in comfortably below a hundred bucks. Dropped off Saturday afternoon then went out for a few errands. When I came back it was just about ready.My sister needs help with her phone and I am leaning strongly toward recommending these folks.

Fixed the issue at home, disabled the wireless card from the pc and worked sadly my i7 was not kept and had to downgrade due to a failure of knowing the issues other than my pc was built the owners were great to work with

Turned in a PS3 and a UPC for repair/damage estimate from a move. They took two days replicating the troubleshooting steps Id already performed, failed to repair anything, and couldnt fill out the estimate paperwork. Waste of time and exactly what one would expect from a strip mall electronics repair store in the middle of nowhere.
