Had such a wonderful experience! We rented a pontoon for a half day, and it was such an easy check in process, maybe 15 minutes to go over the basics and we were on our way. Saw lots of wildlife, and had a relaxing river adventure. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice day on the river at affordable pricing.

DO NOT RENT BOATS HERE!Absolutely disgusted with the level of professionalism and courtesy my wife and I experienced today! My wife and I rented a pontoon boat that they said is “ready to go” at 8:30 am but after 30 minutes of paperwork and boat orientation that’s not the case. Then they tell you to be back in the marina by 4:00 pm, which we were, but according to her it must be “tied up” so needless to say they charged us a LATE FEE FOR 3 minutes because it takes 5 minutes to get through the NO Wake Marina!! Being a business owner in the community we strive on spending our money to help local businesses but I WILL NEVER SPEND another dime or refer any of my customers there again.

Have rented a 12 person pontoon boat there. The people were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great day. Boat was in great condition. Renting again in 6 weeks

****Update. First thing next morning we received a call with an apology and explanation regarding the miscommunication. I am pleased with their response and how well they handled the situation. They showed they are human and care about their customers. We are happy campers now!*** We are new to the marina. We were told we only needed to give then an hour notice to put our boat in the water. We called at 3pm today and 5pm when we showed up, our boat was no where to be found. We dialed their telephone to ask where we could get our boat and no one answered. We waited for over an hour. At the restaurant no one knew as they are not connected. Sad thing is that we dont even have an after hours number to call. Our group was very disappointed as we were so looking forward to our late evening ride. Apparently everyone there knows that they are very unresponsive (because we asked the people on the dock there). These people dont care. My first bad review ever!

We placed a boat here in January while we worked to get it ready for the trip up the St Johns to Jacksonville. Cannot say enough good things about the experience. We ended up having engine work done and stayed on the boat several times. The place is clean, people are friendly, and it was an overall excellent experience. The service was done efficiently and economically.

What an outstanding check in and rental process. The staff was outstanding!! The boat was in perfect condition, motor ran great! Clean and spotless. I can’t say enough positive about our experience. We will rent there again!!

I encourage you to check out the deli at the marina . My personal favorite is the belly buster hot dog but the Philly cheese steak is also very good. My fathers boat is parked at the marina and has been for some time. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I can recommend the tiny house vacation rental that is docked there and can be rented.

What a great service department! I talked with Jennifer, the service manager. I explained how the bellows were leaking on our stern drive.She said no problem. Bring it in. She told me they were 2 to 3 weeks out, as all marinas are very busy at this time of year.She delivered on her promise, I had our boat back in two weeks.They replaced all bellows and seals along with the lower shift cable.Quality of work is excellent!!!Highly recommend the Boat Tree!!Thank you Jennifer 😃

The service is great prices are comparable. They have non ethanol gas at 93 octane. Full bar next door, also a deli with breakfast 7 days a week.

Would not recommend anyone have business with Boat Tree Marina. They do not take responsibility for their negligence. They try to manage more boats than they can handle. If you ask to have your boat pulled out of the water Monday morning they will not get it out of the water until Thursday. Then when your boat is sinking due to an unknown issue they should have found when you had your boat serviced there and you asked them to look it over because you just purchased the boat they will call you 3 days after you request them to pull your boat out of the water to jokingly tell you to come bring a bilge pump to the dock that they manage to get the water out of the boat. Both the dock harbormaster and several employees told us that they walk the dock every day and saw that our boat was sinking and still did nothing about it even though our boat was in their care. When we tried to use our boat after this incident of course it did not work like it did before because they let it sink. When we tried to get our boat repaired with them after this incident the service manager Jennifer was completely rude and unwilling to help or take any responsibility for what we believe they caused. After we expressed our concerns and wanted to speak to a manager or owner we were then called back by Jennifer the rude service manager to tell us to come pick our boat up and they could no longer help us. This is the boat that they messed up in their care and now they are refusing to even look at it to see what is wrong. Stay away from this company. Ive requested the owner speak with me in office and still sent out the rude service manager Jennifer and then requested they call. Have not heard nothing. I will be taking them to small claims court due to their unwillingness to take responsibility for their negligence. .

We rented a covered spot for our boat. They assured us they would put the boat in and out when asked. They do not follow up on their promises. They leave the boats in the water until they feel like pulling them out. Even though we paid over $230 a month for covered storage, we were pimped by the staff to give them a tip when they took care of the boat even though that is what we paid for. The boat was put in a covered spot, yet it was full of mold and mildew when we went to use it. We had it detailed at a cost of over $300. We took the boat out and asked that they pull it would not get wet and start to mildew again. They assured us they would pull the boat. The next day, the boat was still in the water. We pulled our boat immediately! Do not trust them to take care of your boat. They just dont care.

Great price and customer service. Our boat had a small issue on the water and they responded extremely fast, brought another boat to me and I was on my way. Now I just got an email saying they refunded 25% of my cost for the inconvenience and they didnt have to do that. Very impressed with this Im in the customer service business and they went above and beyond! Thanks again we will be back.

Very friendly people. I am looking for a marina and they were very accommodating and nice. So often Marinas have gotten to where they give you the third degree before giving out any information. These people were so nice and inviting.

My husband took his boat in on a Saturday to see if it could be repaired, and was told that they wouldnt be able to look at it until Tuesday. We didnt hear back from them so my husband called on Thursday. They said they had been busy and unable to look at it. We waited until the next week and called again. They still hadnt looked at it. This went on for three weeks.The boat is sentimental to us because it was my father in laws boat, but we needed an upgrade for ourselves. We thought it would be nice to fix it up for our son. We had looked on Boat Trees sales lot and picked out two boats we were possibly interested in, but needed to know how much our old boat was going to cost to fix so we knew how much we wanted to put down on a new boat.My husband got tired of waiting for Boat Tree so he called on Saturday, three weeks after taking the boat to them, and told the lady who answered the phone that he was going to come get the boat. She didnt apologize, as a matter of fact she was very unconcerned about his experience or lack there of, with this company. We are so thankful we held off on buying the new boat with them and we were probably very lucky that we didnt have them fix our old one...not that they seemed interested in even quoting us..I think we got a great idea of how they do business.

The staff and residents seem to be very nice Ive only witnessed myself and everyone else enjoying their time here boats come through the private Channel a little fast at times but most people are very respectful a few upgrades to the facility would be nice but I like the Privacy and overall all entities are great bathrooms are clean and would recommend boat tree marina for the restaurant Fuel and storage slips

I kept my boat here for 2 years, very nice people. good restaurants, accommodations were great, and there repair shop has to be the most honest and fair around town. I would get what i would believe to be a lot of work done on my sundancer 240 and the bill never dropped my jaw or had me upset.

Boat rental was easy and will do it again. No hassles. In and out.

While in Florida for vacation we decided at the last minute to rent a boat and cruise the St Johns River. This was the highlight of our trip. Boat was clean and well maintained, Staff were awesome from the rental desk to the gentlemen who gave us the walk though of operating the boat... Top Notch!A must for anyone coming to Florida!

I came in today to fill up with fuel in my 18 sea ray. Its got a 21 gallon tank and needed about 10 gallons or more. I pull up to the pump and no one is around. I see a cashier window with a call button so I walk up and push it. It was a Saturday around noon and it was a ghost town. I waited for a while out side the window which I could not see in and decided to walk around the building to the parking lot entrance and when I walked in I saw three employees standing in front of the cashier window. I know they saw me out there and must have heard the call button that I pushed several times. When I walked in they all three looked at me and without acknowledgement went on with their conversation. I laughed and walked out to their dock and unhooked my boat and left. Im sure they will have plenty of excuses and reasons why they suck at customer service, but when customer service doesnt even exist its hard to defend that. Its a prime example of how they do business and wouldnt trust them with a inflatable row boat. FYI When I went to the neighboring marina I was greeted promptly with a service provider and filled up with cheaper better gas and gave a great tip. When I told them about my experience, I was told thats how they do business there and everyone has come to expect it. I was unaware and now I will warn every boater I meet to steer clear of this place and to go where you are treated like a customer right around the bend.

We rented a boat today from Boat Tree Matina,I cant say enough good things about them. The place and boat were immaculate. They gave us map of various places to go. Made things every easy for us to find destinations on our route. The ladies at the desk were all so nice and helpfull. FYI they sell beer and bait. Their prices are cheaper than what you would buy at the store or bait shop. We will definitely rent from them again.

The deli is awesome! We moved our boat over from the coast and the service is stellar. Christy made the transition so easy, not to mention shes a sweetheart.

Giving it a 1 because I cant give it a 0. No wheelbarrows, really strict policy with returning and hefty fees. Mostly I think it could be a lot better. They are very money hungry. Anything to charge an extra buck. Theyll tell you oh you can go here or there no problem and come to find it its 2 hours away. Not good advice if you have to bring back by a certain time. Dont know if Ill be back or not. Hard to say. Maybe if Im desperate.

Bought my 22 center console out of state so I needed a local Suzuki dealer to service the engine and maintain the warranty. Did my 20 hour service here and all went well. Unfortunately a few months later my engine stalled while out in the Gulf with my family. I assumed it was something simple and called Boat Tree for some on the water advice. I was shocked when the gal answering the phone said they were too busy to let me talk to a tech for a few minutes. I reiterated that I was dead on the water. They didnt care. I then called the dealer I purchased from in GA and they talked me through a quick fix. Boat Tree.. youve lost my business.

My wife and I stopped by recently because we were interested in purchasing a used boat. They didnt appear to have much inventory, but we walked in their business and met with a gentleman sitting behind a desk. He greeted us politely. I told him the purpose of our visit and he did not appear to be interested in making a sale. Even though it appeared to be a slow day we felt like he pretty much brushed us off, so we turned around and left. Found another boat store in Longwood (BMC Boats). They were very helpful and knowledgeable and had a wide variety of boats. We ended up buying a nice Yamaha jet boat. Im thinking Boat Tree lost my business because no one took the time to show us around, but Im glad it worked out that way...we are very happy with our new boat.

This company is dishonest. Do not go there.Boat Tree Marina employees are pirates... they will steal from you, blatantly.The charge you for extra fuel that you did NOT use!Be aware of the pumped gallons amount.Demand that they RESET the pump before refilling your boat.The boat rental was fine, until the end of the day...when we got back. There are two (2) 6-gallon tanks on the pontoon boat, thats a total of 12 gallons. We ONLY used about half of one tank, i.e. only 3 gallons.Once we returned to the dock, I physically checked two things: the gas level in both tanks, AND, the current reading of the pump.The reading of the pump had already filled up 1-2 other boats, and had 21 total gallons reading on the display.Before even starting to pump, I asked the guy he was able to tell, which boat takes how much fuel? He states that he radios into the office to the lady and she records it. The lady is mean, not professional, and is a bold faced liar.When he finished refilling our boat, the gas pump read 24 gallons... 3 gallons was pumped into our boat. We were charged $26 for gas!At their (expensive/up-charged) rate of $5 / gallon... that would be over 5 gallons, not 3 gallons that was actually refilled.When I asked the lady, she stated that she could not see the actual amount, because they lump refueling together! What!? How can they record each transaction, and then not be able to see how much fuel actually went into each individual boat? ...they do not want you to know how much fuel was pumped, on purpose! If theres no record, you cant fight them on the charged amount.We paid the fee and left...We will NEVER return to this thievery company.Boat Tree Marina is a dishonest place. Do not go there.Lastly, Do NOT buy the prop insurance, it is a scam.They charge you $20 in case your prop falls off? Or, gets damaged? How exactly can a prop get damaged in the middle of a river where hundreds of boats pass up and down every single day? Watch out for this conniving company. They are sheer con artists.
