I highly recommend Roys motorsports to anyone!! I recently purchased a volvo xc90 that I thought only needed a wheel bearing. I brought it to Roys motorsport to have him change it for me and do an oil change and inspection sticker. On the way there the check engine light came on so I asked him to check it out. He got the vehicle in the day after I called and made the appointment. And I wish I had brought it to him before I purchased it because after he read all the codes and inspected it I realized that the car wasnt worth fixing. I was so pleased because instead of just fixing the things I asked and send me on my way he held off and had me come in and show me everything that it needed and an estimate of how much it would be. Yeah I could go to another shop and save money but cutting corners with cheap aftermarket parts costs more in the long run then fixing it correctly with the right parts. I was so grateful for his knowledge and honesty! And I felt bad I decided not to do the work on the car fearing something else would breakdown

His mechanic suggested I craigslist my car, which still books for $4 or $5k, and buy something else because it needed maybe $600 worth of repairs. Dont waste your time, like I did. He refused to do the job so I went to another shop and they did the job for less money and no hassles.

He is awesome, very personable and friendly.

The owner of Roys Motor Sports is a true diamond of the auto repair industry - an honest merchant who actually cares about his customers - its NOT all about the money at Roys place.My daughter recently moved from Kennebunk to South Portland and had to destroy all her furniture due to a mold infestation at the Kennebunk apartment. On top of needing a household of furniture, her 2000 Volvo needed a whole lot of repair work - it was barely street legal before we took it to Roys.The owner understood our situation and went out of his way to fix all the cars outstanding mechanical issues - and he did so at a fair price.The car had to be in the shop for two days and Roy personally arranged for a rental car, then drove me, my daughter and grand daughter to the agency so we could have temporary transportation while the Volvo was being repaired.I would definitely recommend Roys Motor Sports to anyone needing quality work at fair prices by people who care about their customers.
