She is a very sweet woman that works here. I believe she owns the place. She is very helpful, and does a great job tailoring. I had to have her take my suit in again and she did it with a smile on her face and even gave me some tips to make sure that I semi future-proof myself. I really appreciate her and she gave me a pretty good deal, too! Quite honestly, as this is my first time going to a tailor in Atlanta, she definitely set a high bar!

Mai is a total sweetheart and had heels for me to wear in the shop since I forgot to bring some for the measurements. She also altered the dress to flater my figure more without being super tight.

I walked in. She lightly greeted me. I tried on 1 of 5 dresses I wished for her to alter. Within seconds of putting 3 pins in the back, she said itd be $58. For a simple cut to shorten the length and to take in the waist for ONE??! Each dress was a thin one layer sundress. I felt her price was quite high and unreasonable and she didnt even suggest anything further considering I had FIVE of them. Almost $300 for alterations and youre happy to see a kind and professional customer go within minutes of waking in your business. Wow. Business must be booming!

I tried on my bridesmaid dress 7 days before my sister’s wedding 😬 and of course my bridesmaids dress NEEDED to be let out and Mai came through on 5 days! I looked great thank you!

This is my go-to place for special occasion alterations. Over the last two years Ive visited the Alteration Shop to tailor my bridesmaid dress as well as my own wedding gown two years later. Ms. Mai was awesome at altering both dresses. Her personality is very sweet and shes very kind. Ill be sure to return to the Alteration Shop in the future.
