Brought my Mother-in-laws 2002 Mercedes SLK320 in for service and review. Chris and his crew did a very thorough diagnosis of the issues and made thoughtful recommendations on what needed to be repaired and what did not. I really appreciate them doing a thorough review and being honest about what the car needed and especially telling me things that did not need service (tires for this car). Great to find someone on Cape Cod to take care of Mercedes service.
Another Exceptional ExperienceThis time on my BMW 5 Series with 209k miles.I have been having my cars repaired here for years. Always a pleasure. Thanks to James for his mechanical knowledge and always being able to point me in the right direction and to Chris with a clear and concise estimate over the phone for the work needed to a final call and breakdown of what work was performed. I value their service.
OUTSTANDING VALUE. I brought my BMW x5 in for brakes and a 90,000 mile service. From the start, Chris was communicative about what would be happening with the service, from parts to pricing to time frame. He then followed up with me a few hours into the service to give me an update, and the expected completion time. The Roundel team completed my service by end of the same day (when I was fully expecting to have to leave it overnight), called me a half hour prior to completion to let me know, and my vehicle was all set. Professionalism. This is where you take your vehicle...every time.
I’m new to the area and relieved to be done with the stress of “where will I service my precious BMW?” Pat and his team did a great (large) job and they run a clean and competent shop. Pat offers good options and gives sensible recommendations. My other BMW will be in next week!
I would highly recommend Roundel Motor Werks, Inc. What a pleasure and ease of service experience. Roundel saved me a lot of money..compared to my having gone elsewhere. From my first call, about my LR3, I knew after speaking with Gayle, I was going to a professional, honest and trustworthy establishment, with a great reputation. A pleasure to know you can be a dummy and get THE best treatment and service you never imagined. For any foreign auto, or domestic for that matter, theyre brilliant.
The only place Id bring my E90 M3 to. Bryan, James, Pat, and the crew are the best around. Thanks boys!!!
Pat @ Roundel has always performed reliable repairs on my 325xi...certified master BMW technicians @ VERY competitive rates ...forget the dealers, and go to Roundel!!! you wont be disappointed and youre sure to come out ahead financially!!!
I have been bringing my Mini Cooper to Pat at Roundel Motor Works for a few years and they are always helpful, transparent and fair. Highly recommend them for any service!
I purchased a Beetle VW Convertible from a very dishonest dealer in NJ. Not knowing it at the time, I wanted it checked out by a reputable mechanic in Ma. to make sure it was in good working order. Driving it down to Roundel, Pat Martin immediately looked at the car and said it should never have been sold in the condition it was in but he would check it out to see what was needed. Leaving it at Roundel for a few days, I called to see what the cost would be to get it corrected and was told it was already up to $8,000 and could possibly go to $12,000. Because I did not do the proper due diligence, we were basically scammed. When Gail gave me the estimate I told her to stop and dont go any further. Both she and Pat felt terrible but again, it should have been buyer beware. A very good lesson was learned. Unfortunately, it really left a bad taste in my mouth about trusting our fellow human beings but Pat totally changed my mind. He was exceptionally professional and honest with me which restored my confidence in humankind. If you need a foreign car mechanic, one with high standards, and quality work, check out Roundel. He and his sidekick Gail were so kind to my wife and I and did not charge for the estimate nor the storage. Thank God for such people. As always, honesty is the best policy!Gary G.
First time customer and what a great knowledgeable and compassionate staff! Thanks for all your help, see ya at the next oil change!
After years of dealing with an inept service dept at the location I purchased my Q5, my son suggested I give Roundel a try. Very impressed with the quality of their work and knowledge of their employees. Wont go anywhere else
I have been taking my 328xi to Pat for the last few years and have received outstanding service. Between Pat, James and Brian, I have no reason to ever visit another BMW dealership. Pat and his team have always provided outstanding service, for a fair price, and on time. And they always take time to explain what they did and why.
Very pleasant to work with on all of my repairs with this current vehicle and my previous little Mercedes. I can get seen relatively quickly and the job is done the same day. And when its done, its done. No going back for some little thing that got overlooked. I drive long miles and need to be able to depend on my car. Thank you
Patrick and his team always provide me excellent service. They are professional and diligent, providing me a great alternative to dealer service. Highly recommend.
Simply put, Roundel is great. I have had my X3 serviced there twice and both times the service was excellent. They were ready for my car at the appointed hour and went to work on it right away ( try finding that experience at a BMW dealer) Brian and James are true professionals who are extremely knowledgeable about BMWs but who can also explain technical issues in simple, easy to understand terms. Gail, who works the front desk, is a pleasure to deal with and she also has a killer recipe for twice baked potatoes. ;-) For as long as I own a BMW (and I am on my fourth one), this is my go to shop.
Two days before I was scheduled to leave the Cape for the 400+ mile trip home, the lights, turn signals, and brake lights stopped working. I called Roundel Motor Werks as soon as they opened and explained the situation. They worked me into their schedules that very day. When the part needed could not be delivered until 4 hours later they made arrangements to have someone pick it up. They completed work in less time than estimated. The price was fair. They got me back on the road safe and sound. I highly recommend Patrick and Gail for their kindness and professionalism.
Never but excellent work and only what is needed to fix an issue. Pat and company will not spend your money unless it is absolutely needed to correct an issue. I’ve had nothing but good experiences, timely repairs and quality work. It’s better than the dealer!
Very happy with the work Pat and his shop have done with my BMW over the last 4 years I’ve been taking it here. Prices have always been reasonable and estimated service is always on time and quicker than the dealer. I’ve enjoyed having a facility that tells you what work needs done and what things could wait if needed, with no pressure. They’ve also done a phenomenal job of working with the extended car warranty companies that were able to cover major repairs on the vehicle, with literally no interaction on my end, made the whole process streamlined and simple. Thank you Roundel!
Last year I had my car serviced (oil, filter) at Roundel and they did a great job. I returned last week for what I thought was a faulty tire pressure sensor. Brian quickly analyzed the situation and found the warning light was on because one tire was out of the proper range from the other three. He adjusted all four, reset the sensors and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. No charge. The additional service bay that has been added since last year is also a plus, clean and neat. I will return again when I need any other service for my Mercedes Benz E250.
Excellent service for my car. They checked everything for the winter and found a problem I needed to take care of to be safe. So glad they are meticulous in their work.
I recently brought my 2007 BMW 328xi in for minor service. But like all my previous visits Patrick did a perfect job, quick, with quality as good or better than a dealer and much more affordable. What I appreciate about Patrick is he never tries to up sell you on things that you really dont need. If he recommends something Im comfortable knowing I should do it. When I was younger I was a service writer at a Mercedes dealership and I know how often mechanics were encouraged to scour the vehicle for things that werent perfect. I would always look at the car with the the mechanic and ask him to explain to me why an item needed to be replaced and he would explain why the part wasnt perfect. I would always ask if this were your car would you replace it? Often the answer was no.
Pat and his crew are professionals in every way. They were on time providing quality work at a fair price.
I was really glad to find this shop! They did a great job with reasonable rates. It was worth the drive from Orleans.
Recently moved to the Cape and was looking for a shop that could service my 2014 Mini. Found Roundel and was very satisfied. Started promptly at my scheduled time. Performed my desired oil and filter change and a tire rotation was even included in the service. Great job. Glad I found a professional shop on Cape
I am what you might call a Automotive Enthusiast I love doing minor automotive work myself. That being said I had to have work done to my 08 BMW 335Xi and I had not been previously happy with the local dealership. I took my car to Pat & James and they went above and way beyond what any other shop or dealership has ever done in my 40 + years of owning a car. I can not thank them enough. Pat walks you through all the work and explains what can wait and what needs to be done right away. They even have a loaner car for work that may take a few days. Pat is the owner and James works for Pat and if own any make of car especially a BMW or Mini this is the place to go. You do not need to look any further. They have a customer for life with me and my family. Pat & James, I cant thank you both enough.
I just got my car repaired here and the service is incredible. They repaired my mouse damage and replaced a switch for well under what I was expecting. Not only did they repair the damage, but they checked out any other potential issues and gave me a heads up for the future. They have a customer for as long as I live in sandwich.
Roundel Motor Werks is a 5 star rating! I have been there multiple times with my 2008 535xi, fixing coils, harness, spark plugs, brakes all around and more! They have also saved me thousands by having my car serviced here instead of a dealership. Patrick is very honest and tells me exactly what is wrong with my vehicle. I love the one on one conversations we have because I really understand what is going on with my car. I would recommend this shop to anyone with a german car!
Prompt, reliable, professional and courteous. Excellent experience always!
Best place in town for your car. They are honest and do it right.
I have used Roundel since I bought my Mini in 2015, and the service has always been excellent--Pat knows his customers and their cars, and he is never too busy to explain what needs to happen or to give thoughtful answers to questions.Yesterday morning, when I turned on my car, the check engine light illuminated, and the engine was running rough. I immediately called Roundel (at 7:00 am). I explained the problem and asked if they had time to check it out that afternoon when I was done at school. I arrived in the shop around 3:30, and by 6:00 I drove out with every problem fixed and the routine service that had been due completed. As I said to my son, I know few people who can rely on that kind of responsiveness and accommodation, especially in a shop as busy as that!
Patrick is a professional who worked at a BMW dealership. His prices are reasonable and he completes work on schedule. He is honest. Weve had him do several major jobs on our high mileage MINIS. He even coaches me when I do some of the work myself. Great guy to work with. His tire and alignment prices are very competitive.
This was my first encounter with Roundel Motor Werks as I have always had my BMW serviced at the dealer. I moved to the cape 3 years ago and making the trek to the dealer in Norwood was becoming a hassle. I figured to give Roundel a try and called in requesting an appointment and a quote over the phone. Patrick quoted my service not having ever seen or serviced my vehicle and the final bill was within $20. The service experience was fantastic from start to finish and would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Patrick and Roundel.
These folks are the Best! What they say they do and they do an excellent job of keeping my 2010 Mini Cooper one with the open road.
I have been going to Roundel for over a year now and my experience has always been very good. Pats is very knowledgeable about MBs (mu car) and is highly professional. Highly recommend.
Really wanted to like this shop but was very let down by my experience. My AC died while I was on the Cape on vacation so I brought my car in for them to see if I had a leak or just needed a recharge. Was easy to book an appointment and the work took the expected amount of time. When I called to see if the car was ready I was asked if my radio worked when I dropped the car off. I told them occasionally a speaker cuts out when I hit a pothole, but nothing out of the ordinary. Went to pick up my car and the cost was what I expected for an AC recharge and drain clear, however when I went to turn on my car all the audio was shot and the only audio was muffled and coming from the bass under the seats - no chirps, chimes, or anything else. I asked them what happened and they said that a bunch of water blew out the center vent when they charged the AC and it must have shorted out the MASK unit. They refused to take any responsibility for causing the short, both verbally or financially, stating well, anything could have caused it to short. We had a circular argument of them agreeing that the radio worked when I dropped the car off, them admitting that a bunch of water blew out of the vents after they charged the AC, but they couldnt possibly be the only ones responsible for the unit shorting for about half an hour. The shop offered no apologies and put in no effort to fix the issue they caused, leading to another few hundred out of my pocket for a new MASK unit and re-code on the car.*Edit: For clarification, both on the phone, and on person, I was told that water was blowing out of the center vent after the AC was fixed. My assumption is that the AC was recharged before the drains were found to be clogged, and the a precaution as small as just shoving a rag in the void behind the center console in case condensate was blown out was not taken. Also pretty low of you to call out my maintenance history when carfax literally lists that the tire shops were for (gasp!) tire mounting, and my local lube shop is for oil changes where they have the best price on my preferred oil. Tsk. Tsk. For everything else, I to use an independent shop, similar to yours.
Just had my second experience with Roundel and Patrick...really great. Personal service...everything clearly explained...work done as promised and at a reasonable price. So much happier than the local dealer!
Always a pleasure to do business with. Work is completed on time and at the estimated cost or below. They really know what they are doing.
Trust Factor is 150%, couple times i had major engine issues and it turned out to be the spark plug wire for $50.00 repair.. Great Team all around...
Patrick and the ENTIRE Roundel Motor Werks staff earns and deserves a FIVE Star rating. Competent, professional and Honest. Who could ask for more.
Excellent alternative to local BMW dealer which I have lost confidences in. At Roundel I have experienced honest assessment of the problem, speedy repair and fair pricing. Im glad I found them.
They performed a fairly comprehensive overhaul on the brakes of my 2004 Volvo XC70 and have restored my confidence in the car. Fast turnaround, professional, and respectful. Thanks for the good service.
Ditto what Jaromir says, except mine is a Mercedes Benz SLK350. Very professional and knowledgeable folks. You get good service at a reasonable price and on a timely basis. I will definitely be back.
You will not find a more honest, fair professional.Patrick proves there may be hope for the human race.Thank you for the great work on my 04 330Ci
Excellent customer service, thorough inspection and repair. I will continually choose this locally owned business over Land Rover.
Friendly and professional. I love that they contacted me for needed routine service and then suggested something that might need future attention. They explained everything clearly in laymans language.
They do excellent work for a fair price. Extremely reliable, never had any issues with work done on my seven series BMW. Highly recommend
My wife and I have been extremely happy with everything that Roundel Motors has done for us.
Was looking for a reputable mechanic for my BMW 650i Was tired of the exorbitant charges at dealerships A friend recommended Roundel Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience Professional service at a reasonable price They take a real interest in making sure that your vehicle properly repaired Roundel has a new customer
I have been using Pat and Roundel for years now for both of my BMWs - not only has he saved me a ton of money over the dealer, he has shown that nothing is beyond his capacity from an entire transmission replacement to electronics/iDrive diagnosis and repair. Would recommend wholeheartedly.
Excellent, honest mechanic. So thankful to have them close by!
Quickly, accurately, and affordably identified and fixed a weird computer unit problem on our Mini. Friendly, accommodating service.
Always Excellent!!Great work, nice people!! Best shop on the Cape!!!
Honest and informative shop.
