Amazing prices and some of the most helpful and happy associates you can find in a big box store. Did my shopping and went to the register to find that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT GOOGLE PAY OR APPLE PAY. Cant believe that a big chain store doesnt have this service available to their customersGoodwill has tap to pay.Otherwise, go here and save a lot of cash as prices are almost always better than Lowes or Home Depot. Just bring your card or cash!

Nice home improvement store with a large selection at great prices. Many times I have found what I was looking for here for less than the other home improvement stores in the area. The employees are always friendly and helpful with any questions I have. I really enjoy that the store is set up so things are easy to find and you don’t have to spend all day searching for a section. They offer a really nice cleaning section that has a ton of choices and even sell some food and pet items in store. They have rentals available also so if you need anything like that, check out their prices. The store is handicap accessible and plenty of parking available.

We are always doing home improvements and are frequent customers of all of the home improvement stores. Menard’s is the best in my opinion. The selection at this store is unbelievably vast. This store in Sandusky is clean, well-stocked, and had exactly what we were looking for to complete our kitchen remodel. Their selection of light fixtures, flooring, cabinetry and countertops, and other materials is much better than competitors’. The 11% rebate is also great, as it could be used to buy more stuff at their store. They also have items such as food, toys, personal care items, etc. so this store is a one stop shop.

Equipment rental desk: **the equipment is not inspected, repaired, and maintained.** Missing parts. Broken parts. You can lose hours on a job and theres no process to get a credit for the time and hassle. Sunbelt rentals is a superior a choice.

Masks are not by law, mandatory! It should be your discretion. After November you wont need one anyway. I like Menards because I like to go to the Miss tints in the paint section and get it for $9 a can when it was 35 or 38. They always have a color I can use!

I was treated like a common thief trying to return a ladder because I purchased one that was not long enough about 2 weeks ago there was 11.00 difference to purchase bigger ladder and I was told I could not purchase because there system shows none was sold in last 90 days THAT IS A TOTAL LIE not customer friendly

They had made a mistake on purchase of materials and did an exchange before leaving the premises. It turns out we couldnt use some stuff so my friend took it back with receipt. He had to go through a long process to ultimately be told they couldnt just credit back to the card used because he didnt have it. He called me and I could not just read my card on the phone. I ended up making my last trip there to get the credit. I will not be returning.

Its a touch and go store. Some things you can buy there and some you stay away from. If youre unsure ask a licensed professional when it comes to building materials and tools. They can usually tell you what will hold up and what wont

A surprisingly large selection of merchandise for a home improvement store. First time here and the small grocery section was unexpected. The staff is wonderful and very friendly.

It was a ghost town. I dont really go out much since corona, but was looking for a heater n well after asking four different employees n getting sent on wild goose chases I came too the conclusion they where out.

It was a positive experience until the guy that helped me take my stuff out to the car to put in my trunk had his mask hanging down under his chin the entire time. The reason I go to Menards instead of Lowes or Home Depot is because I know that every person there is required to wear a mask! Everyone, apparently,except the guy I had to come in the closest contact with for the longest time. 😷😷😷

I like shopping there, but tired of going in and no propel water or favor water on the shelf. Seams to happen a lot lately.

Bought a display item off their app. It arrived late and the box was falling apart. Pieces of the product was hanging out of the box, so we have no clue if pieces were missing. They put our item in a box that was very large and put about 2 feet of bubble wrap that was as thin as paper. The box has huge holes from the top to the bottom. I contacted their customer service via email like it required and never got any response back. I will never buy from there again.

Guy in appliances was really helpful today. Wish they had the stove we wanted in stock. We had to special order it and then wait till Sept ninth to get it.

After spending 20 minutes walking around the store to find an associate for help with the window products we needed (had a screenshot of all 3 exact products mind you) we were told to go to the desk and get a slip, which we did. Another 20 minutes to get someone to tell us what we had to do next. Why the associate that printed off our items didnt tell us that we just needed to head to the register and pick up outside, I will not understand. We proceed to the lumber yard to pick up our items, paid receipt and product slip in hand. The 2 employees in the booth tell us we need to go back into the store because something wasnt printed correctly. Which we do.....now how long has this trip taken us?! We return to the lumber yard booth, same two employees are good with the documentation we give this time. Now sitting around the back of the store waiting for help picking up our items. Ive never had to work this hard to spend thounds of dollars. Never. Again. Sandusky Menards

Joanne the manager is the worst person in the whole company to talk to. Very unpleasant. I challenge anybody who works in their corporate office to call and act like a paying customer to see how rude she is. When you answer the phone and say what do you need, what does that tell you. She cut my wife off the whole conversation and proceeded to tell her off. I finally cut in ( because we were on speaker phone). Menards in general is a great place, been shopping for 40 plus years. Joanne is not who you want representing your company. Don’t ruin my perception of a great company by having someone like this work there.

One of our favorite places!

Bought 3 pieces of furniture from the Sandusky Ohio location on 2/6/2020. Paid for them that night. Was told had 2 weeks to pick them up and that they would be waiting for me. Showed up the morning of 2/11/2020, 5 days later to pick my 2 couches and a recliner. Was told only 2 of the 3 were available and they were the floor models. That’s not what I was told the night of the sale. Moral of story. Don’t buy furniture here and expect to pick it up. Terrible customer service and when I informed a manger she couldn’t care less. Never buying big ticket items here ever again!!!!!

I had a very negative interaction the other day with Joanne the store manager. I said hi and asked how her day was going (trying to be kind and polite). She responded “what do you need”. I asked her a few questions and she was short and made it seem like I was bothering her. When I asked another employee in the order area who she was he told me she was the manager. Not great Sandusky.

Save BIG money at Menards

I use to love Menards but not anymore. The mask enforcing security guard is obnoxious and unnecessary. I will be spending my money at other home improvement stores until they remove their totalitarian door greeter.

My husband sent me to get a certain type of screw. The employees that assisted me were very helpful.

You can always find what you need and also information you need to do the job.
